Let us just say that this drama was so good it became my #1 favorite korean drama of all time, AND this is the reason why I created an account here just so I can comment and say this is a definite 10 out of 10. Love it. Every episode is action-packed and uncovers mysteries little by little, but to a very satisfying level. It's true. Not a single dull moment. Ji Wook <3333
I really loved this drama. I like ones like this and Journey of Flower and Prince of Lan Ling. The artistic scenery with the CG is always nice. I liked the main leads a lot. Watching her tormented between two main leads in a triangle is the main plot, and the rest is just the side plot. Xin Yue and General Wei are perfect together. Mo Xun is annoying at first but the end leaves us satisfied with him. Overall even though the ending had much sacrifice for a 'happy ending' I'm just grateful there is a happy ending at least! Overall, great Wu Xia drama with romance as its highlight. I think this series may be underrated! So 10/10 for me!!
Let's just say I was addicted to this drama series for 3 whole days because it took 56 episodes aka 56 hours. After finishing Sound of the Desert and in the middle of the Jouney of Flower, I finally gave Swordsman a chance and man did I LOVE IT. It has everything... Complete. Although the part that made me ever so hesitant in the first place is the 2 female leads because I like none of them... They arent pretty enough for Wallace T____T. Anyways the plot is always consistent and focused, so each episode isn't like random but rather focussed on the main plot. I highly recommend! It's probably better than Journey of Flower because that one is getting real draggy now. Swordsman is definitely worth your time... Best Wuxia!
