The chosen interns finally become hired. But their employee life won't be as easy..or hard as they think. I liked this episode because it was a sweet reminder of the little tough love/awkward bond between Geu rae and his chief who always says he hates him, when it's the opposite.
The first episode does an amazing job at helping us understand the dynamics of Gung-cheol and his squad. GC is celebrating the opening of the 1000th store, and meets with the guys. We see them exhausted, or unsatisfied with their lives, but they take time to enjoy and embrace each other, even trying to have a drink with these women. They get into a scuffle with these gangsters also, but in the end, we see how they are always there for each other and the funny reason they are saved. The bond between Gung-cheol and Man-sik developed quickly, making even the viewer feel connected. It is so sweet and a tear-jerker as Man-sik tells his dear friend about his adoration for him. This first episode felt really sentimental and I look forward to the rest of this series.
