"Not good but not bad" -Kim Ji-soo

I just don't get it and I guess it just isn't for me. Whenever I get around to S2, I hope that it makes me feel a little less bored.

I kept waiting for interesting things to happen or for some positive or negative friction and I just didn't get what I was hoping for. I guess I just need a plot. I need to feel like we are going somewhere. Even if the patients were around more, but it just feels like they come and go to quickly.

I did appreciate the realism and some of acting is quite good. I like many of the characters... I just wish they did something. I wish that they had more changes for growth and development. It just never seemed to happen.

All over the place

Really didn't enjoy most of the other leads or supporting stories.

There were complex story lines (or at least should have been) that were simply dropped or just ignored. It seemed, from a writing perspective, that they wanted to make sure that at many different plotlines needed to be included and then wrapped up as quickly as possible, especially in the last 3-4 episodes.

It felt like this could have been a decent story about the struggles to get the family business back and the re-starting of a marriage, but just too many things swept aside, leading to something that lacked a lot of depths to be considered compelling.

The last couple of episodes should have been ideally about a real takedown and recovery of the family and the marriage. Instead, it was just more like throwing paint on the wall and somehow calling it a resolution. Don't worry, the tension around her diagnosis is irrelevant and, while it took 14-15 episodes to talk about, it was solved in about 5 minutes of screentime.

The main villain, basically became some cartoon.

I really wanted to buy into the hype, but I guess this one just wasn't for me. Just so underwhelming. Just a mess.

Insufferable ML and blah blah blah

Whether it was the writing or Kim Seon Ho's acting, I found hating every single second that his character was on the screen. I just couldn't take it.

Never have I ever felt where one single character completely tanked a show for me.

The story is simple and doesn't offer anything new. However, I don't think that is a bad thing, necessarily. I have no issues with the typical tropes or formulas that we see in these types of kdramas. Basically, I know what I am going to get (which I often enjoy), but that makes issues with characters or acting stand out even more.

Honestly, the show is just tiring to watch. The first show I have watched in quite sometime that makes me wish I dropped shows.
