Wow. This was surprisingly underwhelming. I started to watch at 2x speed after 15 minutes, because it was just so slow and boring. Nothing really happens. The scenes are terrible long, when it could've been way shorter, because they just look around. They meet pretty late in the first episode, so they waste a bunch of time where they could've built up and interesting connection. Both episodes have some flashbacks, which are stealing time again. Way too long and just unnecessary. The story leaves me with a lot of questions, it's not even funny anymore. :'D a lot of things just doesn't make sense. I don't really get what the purpose of this story was.
The acting isn't really good.. the kiss was okay though. Well, thinking of the fact, that one guy throw up before they kissed, it's..not okay anymore, but who cares.

This movie is different from what I watch usual but hell, it got me seated on a different level. We dive right into the story. The scenes change quickly, there is key scene after key scene. The built up is incredible and while I understand that it's confusing, it's just so so so well done, exactly because it's so confusing. For me, it was personally hard to understand when they acted for the play, and when it was them outside of their role, but I think that's exactly what they wanted to achieve. Just like the lines blurred for the actor and the idol, they also blurr for us, the audience.
It's really thrilling, exciting and has some twists I didn't expect. I was holding my breath, gasping and squealing, because the movie was so captivating. The psychological part is just outstanding.
It leaves a lot of room for interpretation and in my opinion, movies like this, live from this aspect. They are good, because they leave you behind, hella confused of what you watched right now. What happened? Is this, what you believe, real? Was this the intention of the movie makers? These questions show me, that it was well done, because it wouldn't have such an impact, if you wouldn't ask yourself all of this.
I would totally recommend this movie. Like I said, normally I use to watch different dramas, but I love psychological aspects too and things that just blow your mind and leave you speechless and confused behind. The acting was perfect and the music supports the scenes well. Here and there some things could have been explained a liiiittle bit better (I didn't really understood the whole storyline of the play they acted for, but I think, to achieve a certain level of mindf*ck, you have to leave some things open to be questioned and not fully understandable), but overall they did a fantastic job in making a movie that just messes with your mind. The feeling they transferred with this movie is just the same as the roles in the movie feel. Like: is it still acting? What did the characters really do? What do they feel? The questions are not answered for the characters, just like they are not answered for the audience.
It's just fascinating and fits the whole atmosphere of the movie. I was so immersed into the story and the characters and geez, really, this acting was so so so freaking good. I can't mentioned it enough. Its truly impressing.
I also recommend to read other reviews and comments for the show, because I am simply to overwhelmed, to put my feelings properly into words. :'D
I will now share my Interpretation to the story, so don't read further if you didn't watch the movie yet, expect you want to read the spoiler.
For me, personally, I go with the interpretation that Young Woo out-acted Jae Ha. Just like Singer tried to surpass Walter, but failed, he tried to surpass Jae Ha, but succeeded. He blurred the lines for Jae Ha so much. Jae Ha is known for getting lost in his roles, and this is exactly what happened here, while YW was just playing into it. You can often see him smirking, which, I think, shows, that he's just playing with Jae Ha. He acted like he doesn't know shit and doesn't care about the play (in the beginning, being too late, having problems with lights etc) just to give Jae Ha a false feeling of being superior. And than YW pushed Jae Ha even deeper into the role by making him believe he really did something to his girlfriend/wife. That's what the audience should believe too. You really think YW is becoming Singer and I really thought he would actually kill himself, lol. Because it was just so well done and I totally bought his behavior as being real. He tricked everyone. What also comes to my mind is the finger he left behind at the end. As far as I understood, Singer kept the finger, because he's in love with Walter and likes to hold his hand. Leaving the finger behind, is like letting go of Walter. YW leaving the finger behind, left the impression, that he also left Jae Ha. He's know done with the play and moves on, because everything was just method acting. While Jae Ha got so much immersed, that the lines blurred and he struggles to differentiate everything. As he saw the finger, he wanted to pick it up, but decides to leave it on the floor. As if he decided to let also go of Walter. In the next scene, he is returning to his girlfriend and the eye acting leaves the impression, that she is hurt, but also understands him (she mentioned before, that Jae Ha gets lost in his roles everytime, so it's not new for her) but she loves him and waits for Jae Ha to get out of the role of Walter, while Jae Ha looks defeated. He looks so tired and also as if he regrets something, but finally decides to go with her and leave everything behind, to move on. I just love all those little details.
Edit: With "regret something" i probably meant that he regrets that he got lost in his role again, to got too immersed in the feelings and probably also that he trusted YW to a certain point. I think he realized that YW was just acting and he regrets that he fell in his trap, although he should've known better, but got lost in the role/the feelings, as usual. And he didn't just let go of Walter, when he decided to leave the finger behind, but also of YW.

I definitely understand now, why UMWA is so polarizing.
What I liked:+ I'm a sucker for deep stories around mental health, trauma, reincarnation, soulmates etc., so the tragedy got me instantly interested.
+ The couples are adorable!
+ Manaow! She's so funny. Del and Don are also hilarious and entertaining! The whole friend group is just so enjoyable, supportive and refreshing.
+ Seeing the general support they get from different people.
+ Dean and Win admiring Pharm and Team together. I love when the best friends admiring their boyfriends together. u.u (sideeye to Boss and Pai c.c)
+ I feel like the screentime between Korn x Intouch and Dean x Pharm was well balanced. We see enough from Korn x Intouch to understand their story, but not too much to get bored.
+ The OST. The OST is everything!!!
+ The loud noise trigger were well done, because they are also a surprise for the watching person.
+ Win. His hair - especially when it's not tied together (tied up? Open? Idk, lmao. English isn't my first language so I don't know how to say it right :'D). His tattoos. His piercings. His attitude. His personality. I always say I need support characters like him in a lead role, because I just loooove guys like him. This flirty, cheeky behavior is so hot. T_T his facial expressions are so... entertaining. :D it's refreshing to see someone using his face, because Dean is more often Mr. Stoneface and Pharm looks overwhelmed most of the time. :'D and Boun really transports a lot of emotions and thoughts through his face!
+ How the flashbacks formed Pharm and Dean. You can see exactly why they behave in a certain way. Pharm is traumatized by all those sad flashbacks, because Intouch lost Korn right in front of his eyes. Dean gets all the sweet and lovely flashbackmoments, because he wasn't forced to see how the love of his life shot himself. Pharm is way more cautious. He needs to protect himself, because he's scared to feel the pain of losing his love again. ("Again", because he feels Intouchs emotions. Someone mentioned they wouldn't say UWMA is about reincarnation, because Dean and Pharm state multiple times that they are not Korn and Intouch. Just to be clear here.) While Dean is determined to pursue and protect Pharm. Something Korn couldn't do for Intouch.
+ P'Deaaaaan. Yes. I actually enjoyed this.
+ The crying. When I first read about the crying I expected something absolutely different than what I finally saw. They shed some tears after the flashbacks. They all have a reason to cry. No one is crying like a wholing Wulf all the time. So I definitely expected worse and was surprised, how beautiful Flukes crying is. x) Although Ohm's acting lacks a bit in this area. - And for the people who are saying that Korn's reason to shot himself is non-existent -> Duh?! Did you even pay attention? He has the pressure from his dad, who threatened him to hurt Intouch (he literally said Intouch is in trouble if Korn doesn't break up), the pressure from Intouch's Dad, the responsibility for his siblings, because he doesn't want them to get involved with the illegal business and on top he thinks he isn't good enough for Intouch and the reason In lost his smile plus pretty sure depressions because of all this. In...what age? 21? Yeah, bro, no, don't tell me Korn didn't have a reason for his actions.
+ The sweet little moments between Pharm and Dean. You can clearly see how much Dean loves and admires Pharm. Sometimes you can see this from Pharm too. Surprisingly a lot of kisses in the show. They are all more or less sweet and good. Imho there was no bad kiss, given that Pharm is always shy, overwhelmed and laughing, because he's embarrassed. I just realized in episode 15 that Dean uses his sweet, soft, calm voice to talk to Pharm. :')
What I didn't like:
- At first I enjoyed the slow pacing. The pining, the admiration, the glances for each other, siiigh. It was so cute. But I recognized that my concentration dropped after episode 6 and it was hard to go through the episodes, because I got easily distracted. But this could be, because I knew about the plot already, so maybe I wasn't determined to watch it, because I already knew what would happen. I think, that's my own fault, so I can't really blame it on the drama though.
- Pharm and this stereotypically "the bottom isn't allowed to want intimacy"-trope from 1837. I am really glad that there are more and more BL dramas nowadays which break out from this sh*t, because it's so outdated. I love top/bottom dynamics, but I don't like it, when the smaller/softer character is portrayed as if he doesn't want intimacy at all and it's often uncomfortable and so so child-like. It's not as bad as it may sounds, but you can clearly see that Pharm isn't really comfortable sometimes and I think it doesn't fit here, because there is almost no progress, he's so uneasy all the time.. I'm totally okay with characters, who needs time to get comfortable, but seeing almost no progress is frustrating. And that Dean alone decides when they have sex for the first time is just a nother thing about this trope that I doesn't like.(Here is a Tumblr post I found really interesting to this topic: https://www.tumblr.com/absolutebl/644962898104467456/hey-i-have-a-question-for-your-dean-and-pharm )
- I don't know if Between Us was already settled when they made UWMA, but Win x Team doesn't make a lot of sense here, because we see absolutely no development of the story. We just see the result, kinda. There aren't on screen and than after episode 10 (I don't remember which one exactly, maybe 12?) they suddenly appear and you just ask yourself "What? Why? How did this happen?" :'D but yeah, since there is Between Us, I don't know if this is really a big deal. But knowing that BU came out 3 years later... People who watched the show in real time must feel like someone was kidding them, lmao. Because I can't remember seeing a side couple getting such a weak storyline.
- Little flaws in the production/editing. The sound was sometimes soo crispy. And little mistakes like food, that looks different in the next cut, Wins hair which changes all the time between black roots and no roots etc. etc. :'))
- The product placement was just..too much and too bad placed. x)
- Del ending up with Alex is just weird and nonsense and Manaow & Pruek are also just rushed. Felt like everyone needs fast a relationship at the and. Buuut they are cute, I have to admit. :')
Overall I can agree with a lot of things other people stated already. It definitely has it flaws. The pacing, the acting sometimes, Pharm being overly shy all the time and just laughs it off.. I don't want to repeat so much. ^^' But I enjoyed a lot of this show and I love all the little details and conclusions.
I would recommend to everyone to give it a try by yourself, if you're interested. The first few episodes stole my heart. The OST just supported this fact - The first episode, first scene, first song, I knew I lost my heart to this show. I recognized myself laughing out loud so many times. I sat in front of my tablet with a smile from ear to ear, because the story was so heartwarming. And I am absolutely not into slow pace usually. ^^' so if you think about watching it, just try it. Fortunately we all can drop shows if we don't enjoy it.
I would rate it with an 8 out of 10, because I don't like this stereotypically bottom-doesnt-want-intimacy-most-of-the-time writing and because the pacing was sometimes just too slow. I think I like slow pacing to a certain amount, but UWMA just pushed it a bit too far.

I had a rough start with the show and didn't get over it
Somehow I felt not really exited when I started to watch this drama. I don't know why, but it just feels a bit off. Right after the beginning I knew with whom he would end up, so I basically sit through 16 episodes, being 100% sure to know who will be the endgame - and I was right. So the whole show was really predictable for me, which..of course.. minimized the fun for me.There were some things I appreciated, but I feel like, these things I pointed out in my episode reviews are the same things again and again:
+ Namgoong is a really great friend. Loyal, wise, gives good advices, acts like he doesn't know something to make the other person not uncomfortable, but gives still the right advice and he's funny!
+ The teacher is a gem! I think there were hints to his story for a second season? But..honestly..I am not really interested, unfortunately. (By the way: if someone remembers seeing this actor in another drama: please tell me! It's driving me nuts, because I am sure I saw him somewhere else, but I can't find any information on this, lmao)
+ The show brings some important topics on the table, just like being ready to coming out, being a pushover, first love, unrequited love etc. etc.
+ The soundtrack is great!
+ Character development is definitely present. I like.
But I feel like the flaws overshadow the little good feelings the show gave me. I'm sure I will remember this show, because the soundtrack found it's way in my playlist, but overall I don't feel the need to rewatch any scene of this. Some scenes were really awkward, so it was hard to watch, even when they made me laugh (but I'm also a person who laughs when something is uncomfortable, so..nevermind, lol)
- In my opinion, they spent way too much time with TK and Daon.
- Because of that, it feels weird that TK switches so fast to Shinwoo. Dude looks like he's just the second choice, because Daon can't stand up for himself and Shinwoo is there for him. Especially in the last episode..I don't really understand what this one scene in the beginning is supposed to mean. It makes it even more looking like TK isn't really over Daon. (Am I the only one who thinks that it's weird they keep wearing their partner-bracelets?!)
- TKs monotone acting was really hard to sit out. I love dry humor and straightforward characters, but after a few episodes it's really hard to endure.
- Imho this crashed the whole chemistry. I saw similar characters in other dramas, but they had great chemistry with their partners because they could act really well and adapt to show feelings and a reaction when it was needed. But here..idk how to explain it. It just kills every spark that could have lighten up, because TK looks zoomed out most of the time. He doesn't use a lot of face expressions, his eyes are nearly dead, so hooooow tf should I be able to tell any chemistry in there. T_T
- Wtf was this disappointing kiss in the end? Shinwoo did great!!! But again, TK looks so distant, it feels like Shinwoo is harassing him. x.x
I feel so burned out that I can't handle my disappointment any further, lmao. At this point, I will just say, this wasn't my kind of drama and I agree to the other critical reviews and just spare any more words to not waste more your time reading things other explained way better than me. :'D

+ It starts fluffy and funny!
+ I fell for Milk the second I saw him. u.u Kim Seong Hyuks acting stole my heart. x.x Wanna see more of his work!
+ It's really easy to tell at first sight who is the dog and who is the cat. The actor did a really good job portraying the pets behavior.
+ The chemistry between Milk and Uncle is fiiiiire. I loved their scenes together!
Dislike:
- Tbh I found the story between Jungwoo and Choco a bit boring. I couldn't bring myself to like Choco.. I am just someone who likes people like Milk more than someone like Choco. So this whole being that clingy and affectionated didn't catch my sympathy. I just waited the whole time to see more of Milk. x:
- The story is a bit flat. Especially towards the end it feels so dragged. I don't really have a problem that they don't explain how the whole coming-back-thing works, but it would have been indeed interesting.
- I don't know what to think about season 2. I'm happy to see more of their work, but actually I just wanna see Milk and Uncle looking at each other lmao.
Overall I don't regret watching it. It's short, fun and I am absolutely not sorry for being mad in love with Milk. :')) I can agree on other people's opinion about the production, the flaws and I am also a bit unsure what to think about the preview for season 2, but I'll just give it a try. :>

+ I really fell for the dry humour. It made me laugh several times!
+ I like Agami! He's absolutely adorable and I actually liked his goofiness. :D
+ Also liked Takana. He's calm, but he give off pretty cool vibes.
+ I can absolutely see this made as an anime.
+ Suzuki Kosuke stole my heart. Again. I loved him in Jack O'Frost and his role in this show is really good! His acting is great and he's funny.
+ Tanakas acting was also good!
+ Some dislike the acting of the leads and I can understand this. But somehow I liked the way they act.. ^^' It was really fitting to the dry humour.
+ Overall I liked the characters a lot! It's fun to watch them.
+ I'm a huge fan of inner monologues most of the time and I also liked them in this show.
Dislike/Room for improvement:
- What is the actual plot? What is a chronologically timeline? Lol. I was so confused! There are many time jumps and still after finishing the show I don't get it. It was all over the place and hard to follow. x.x
- It's a bit sad that there aren't any proper kisses. Most of the time they are forced by Takara, which I really didn't like. I'm a huge fan of consent! Maybe it would have been better without any kisses and just hugs. That's really a point that bothered me much, because I'm so sick of people kissing others without permission (while seeing and KNOWING how uncomfortable the other person is, making it just worse) T_T
(Not really a - point for me, but maybe for others): I think it's definitely a show that's character driven and not plot driven. So..it doesn't really happen much plotwise. The whole show is centered around their feelings and thoughts. About how difficult a relationship can be and yeah, it's definitely repetitive. But it didn't bother me much. I see the reviews from others who are annoyed by the show and somehow I can understand this but I definitely don't share this opinion. I had fun watching this (after I deleted it in the beginning after reading reviews, but then decided to give it a try and didn't regret it.) even if I'm confused as hell. T_T

I can't share the enthusiasm for this movie..
When I first read the synopsis I was hooked. The idea sounds interesting and fun!But the movie is pretty boring for me. I don't feel any chemistry between the actors. The atmosphere is lame and bland.
There was one phone call where I thought their nagging were cute, but that's it.
I don't get the progress of their feelings, because they rarely spend time together, so why do they develope feelings for each other? Lol. Barely anything is happening in the movie. I like dialogue heavy movies and shows, but most of the time no one speaks... :')
The sidestory with the girl Shino is also weird. Didn't get it so far, but maybe part 2 will explain more?
The actors do not fit their roles. They look way too old. Although I liked the actor for Seiryo a bit more. His body language screams "dude from an anime". :'D
Wouldn't recommend it because it just feels like a waste of time for me.

Lack of Storytelling, or something like that.. x.x
Like:+ The soundtrack is absolutely great! Supports the scenes perfectly in atmosphere.
+ The display of emotions is good. I was definitely touched by the story, the characters, their feelings. I could clearly see how someone felt.
Room for improvement:
- although I could see how the felt, I couldn't really understand why they felt this way. Here we come to my biggest problem with this show ->
- the kind of storytelling. I don't have a problem with the time jumps. Actually really liked them. But I do have a problem with the way they tell the story. They just show a bunch of scenes, but imho there is a huge lack of explaining the story. I couldn't understand Yuki at first. And then I couldn't understand Akira. Although Akiras reasons are explained a bit better later, it was still hard to figure out why they behave in a certain way sometimes. And because of the time jumps all the time I got a feeling of being disconnected to the story. I couldn't hold on to this feeling, because I always got ripped out of the moment. And then confusion started to built up, because I got a lot of situations I didn't really understand and they stacked. ^^'
- I think, another problem with this was the lack of chemistry. What I mean is..is see the emotions and I know, what I should feel. But I don't feel anything. I wasn't in awe with them.. u.u the acting was quite okay. So I don't think this was the matter. I think, the chemistry was missing, because I didn't understand the characters behavior.
The story focus a lot of Akira and his personal growth, so Yuki is getting lost a bit. I would have liked to get told more about his difficulties regarding skinship etc. So for me, watching the show was like: I see it. I see the emotions. But my brain couldn't figure out why they made certain decisions, because so many things wasn't explained probably for my taste. "Show, don't tell" is the way to go for me.
I was definitely hooked and not bored at all. I can understand the good reviews. The show has definitely a really special vibe! But for me, it could have been better explained (I mean, show more of the thoughts they have, more communication with each other etc, you know?) Because I often see myself struggle with understanding storylines, behavior, decisions etc., when the reasons behind it aren't clearly portrayed.
I feel like my review is as confusion as the show for me lmao. So sorry for that. I really struggle to put my thoughts about this into understandable words. x.x
Gotta go watch the Director's Cut know and hope I'll understand it a little bit better. :D Don't let my review hold you back from watching it. Give it a try!

+ Funny
+ Sometimes more serious than expected
+ Great messages in how love works, what's important in life and that everything can be judged from different points of view.
+ Boundaries were respected
+ The friends of both of them are funny and lovely. I loooove Mugi! He's so cute! ? And Saku is so cool!
Room for improvement:
- I really find this japanese typical overacting a bit awkward sometimes
- Acting overall was okay, but a bit stiff. So the chemistry was a bit low. Even though Naoyas behavior is really lovely. But because of the not-so-good acting it got a bit lost
- It would have been great if they showed more progress in the relationship (how they come even closer and more comfortable with each other)
Overall I would recommend it, if you're into funny shows. The overacting is definitely a bit uncomfortable, but not so bad that someone couldn't handle it. The story all in all is not soo exciting, but it's still fun to watch. There are definitely minor serious themes and scenes which make the show a bit better, because although it starts with a lot of comedy, it shows the more serious sites behind the Luck/Unlucky stuff and what it means to them in their daily life. This gives the show more depth, which is nice.
Nothing I would rewatch, but I also don't regret spending my time with it.

The acting is okay. It could have a liiiittle bit more dynamic. The music is good..well, there is not much music, but what's there is fitting.
The little plot is really interesting. Although an episode where he finally gets discharged from the army would have been cool too!
The chemistry is also nice to watch!
I can really enjoy these kind of short movies. The tension was great.

Spoilers are mentioned at the end so don't hesitate to read :)
Wow. This was so much better than Season 1!!!Like:
+ I'm a sucker for comedy and this show has some really funny conversations which made me laugh out loud!
+ The show is quite interesting, even tough the plot isn't something new. But the show manages to stay interesting because of their exciting and diverse characters.
Every couple has its own strength.
Lee Hyeon x Kim An: deepest story
Ju Hyeok x Seong Min: funniest story + hottest chemistry
Ma Ru x Min Wu: cutest story
All couples share deep, funny and cute moments, but these aspects stood out the most for me for each couple.
+ I really liked the Outfits and the hairstyles they had. Although, especially in the beginning, I was confused with Min Wu because he is the only one who has different hairstyles and for me it's not soo easy to recognize new actors and characters. And here we had 6 people I need to remember.. x)
+ Every epilogue in each episode has a little flashback to give a little view how the guys had contact in the past. I liked this, because it gives a better understanding of the relationship.
+ Lee Hyeon was probably my favorite character. He's straight forward, honest and isn't afraid to speak open about his feelings. Love that!
Room for improvement:
- Production good have been better. I saw the mic multiple times and sometimes the sound was not clear or cut off (I watched it on Viki, so maybe it was also a problem with Viki, idk)
- Different than other people I didn't have a problem to understand what was going an with Kim An and his past. ^^
- I am even impressed on how much fun this was. The first few episodes (like 2 or 3) were a bit boring to be honest. The plot synopsis is again totally wrong btw. :')
But then I got hooked and it was fun to watch. The characters are really different and it's nice to see how every relationship develope in a different way. The chemistry is good - hot (depending on the couple). Kim An and Lee Hyeon had the lamest kisses, I'm so sorry.. x.x
- But overall, when I think of the dramas I watched so far, which failed to tell a story about only ONE couple in a satisfy way, I am totally happy that I watched this show. To tell a story about 3 couples isn't that easy. But for me, it was made in a way that made me happy. I don't have open questions and I don't feel like something was missing.
- The Acting was quite okay. Nothing major to complain about, but also nothing outstanding that I would remember it. They did a good job, I would say.
And yeah, it's definitely a lot better than Season 1.
Little spoilers, that not everyone would see as a spoiler. ^^'
~ I really liked the cameo from the couple of Season 1!
~ Imho I really liked that the show didn't end when they become couples. Because I like to see characters in a relationship. So the last episode being a camping trip with all guys is really nice!
~ It made me a bit emotional, because Kim An is saying something to Hyeon what really hits me feelings. (Nothing bad, don't worry!)
~ They have never spoken open about fear of homophobia etc, but you can see it in their behavior. So I was really happy when they found a safe space on the camping trip and didn't have to hide anything.
