Based on the reviews and critics, this movie is obviously not for everyone, but I liked it, surprisingly... and not just because i'm a Kame fan. The story is weird and feels incomplete, many questions are left unanswered, but smh i don't feel disappointed at all, maybe because the execution was really good and the acting and direction made me like if not fall in love with the characters.
I think i get the environmental message and appreciate the new light they shed on the issue of climate change, which was really thought provoking for me.
Last but not least, the unconventional attitude and actions of the family at the end left me with a warm heart and a teary eye.
"A beautiful star" gave me mixed feelings, I don't regret watching but I don't think I'd watch it again.
If you're going to watch, keep a very open mind and lower your expectations for the story to make much sense at the end.
