DISAPPOINTED. BAD PLOT. GREAT ACTORS.

Alright, I need a moment because this one had me *feeling things*. I went in with high hopes, expecting greatness, and... well, let’s just say I walked out feeling kinda meh. Not terrible, but definitely not what I expected.

The plot was supposed to be all sweet and fluffy—a childhood reunion story with Obaun meeting Shan again after years apart. Sounds cute, right? But honestly? It didn’t hit for me. Like, I don’t *hate* it, but I also don’t *love* it. The hype really set me up for disappointment because it could’ve been so much more. There’s just no tension, no moment that makes you sit up and go, “Ohhh, now we’re getting somewhere!” It’s 12 episodes of... *vibes*. No real complications or stakes to make the story pop.

And as a TutorYim fan? This one hurt. I expected fireworks, but all I got were sparklers. (Although, let’s be real, the *sex scenes* made up for a lot. Like, wow. A+ on that front. LOL.)

But here’s what baffles me. WHY didn’t they lean into a juicier plot? Imagine if Obaun got accused of plagiarizing Shan’s work, and YS Company was like, “You two have to collaborate and live together to calm the backlash.” Now *that* would’ve been fun. Shan could’ve been all cold and arrogant while Obaun brought the feisty energy. The banter? The slow burn? GURL, that could’ve been gold. Instead, we got... something kind of flat.

Let’s move on to the side characters because I have *thoughts*. First of all, is it just me, or does Gems look SO MUCH like Nat? Like, um, hello? I really loved the Gems x Mark pairing—so cute. But Mark? Ugh, still not over what he did to Nat. Even so, they’re adorable together. Also, I noticed Gems still has a bit of awkwardness on camera, but honestly? Not too bad.

But what I *cannot* forgive is the dubbing. Why, WHY would they dub the Chinese side characters? It’s so jarring. Either hire Thai actors who can speak Mandarin or just limit the Thai's actor lines so the Chinese side characters have more lines. The dubbing was so bad I had to skip a few parts because it made me cringe. Like, what is this, gurl?

As for the side couple? Eh. They were fine, but there wasn’t much chemistry, and their storyline didn’t really go anywhere. It’s like they were just... there. If they’d been given a proper plot, maybe they could’ve shone more.

So, overall, it’s not terrible, but it’s not great either. There’s nothing that really stands out or makes me want to rewatch. Well, okay, except for the sex scenes. LOL. Those? I might go back for. But the rest? Once is enough.
