Review of episode 3

This episode explored the theme of the friendliness of country people. In Sanum, the tavern owner not only provided food for Hur June but told him all the information about Sanum. She was friendly towards Hur June and his mother though they were strangers to her.

This episode explored the theme about being kind to others. Hur June, even though he could find no place to stay at first in Sanum and needed the money he had for himself gave some money to a vagabond because her daughter was hungry.

This expisode explored the theme of standing up for oneself in the midst of adverse situations. Even though the magistrate Hur June was reliant upon for his livelihood was no longer around, Hur June did not give up. He not only found himself a place to stay but also a way to make a living as Weetae's apprentice.
