Great love plays the first role here. In every drama of this type we also have unheard-of accidents, betrayals, lies, pain and suffering. To deal with this, the main characters sometimes have to sacrifice something more than just themselves, but also others. Will they manage to find real love? Both series strive to fulfill this prophecy.
This are similar because they both are in the historical time of China as well they both are plan around the royal court. Also they show that the main female character as a strong person. As well that the main male character where a part of the royal court . Also there love story is very similar in different ways .
The plot is quite similar. It is about a girl who was a princess, but her family was betrayed and defamed. She acquires the identity of someone else and makes her way into the palace to try and clear the name of her people. She meets the crown prince and falls in love with him. They go through many trials to be together. While there is no cross dressing it might be a drama many who like Love in the Moonlight would enjoy.
Revenge plot galore, great productions, great acting (personally like Nirvana in Fire a bit more because it felt more cohesive and Hu Ge was an amazing actor... however, same can be said for luo jin in The Princess Wei Young)
The romance in nirvana in fire is more toned down than in WeiYoung. Both are highly recommended if you like smart heroes/heroines, political drama, and revenge

Both dramas are taken place in/around the royal palace, with both FLs having a strong sense of justice. In my opinion, FL in Princess Wei Young is smarter and doesn't get herself in as many issues as FL in Legend of Pheonix. Both ML's remind me of each other, both in love with FL, and are there to help/support FL when needed. Legend of Pheonix is more strategy whereas Princess of Wei Young is more drama/scandals, but both work around helping the empire. Think overall, Princess Wei Young was better.

Eripiyo is initially a woman leading a normal life until it is turned upside down after watching a performance of the minor idol group ChamJam, which leads her to becoming obsessed with one of its members, Maina Ichii. Despite Eripiyo's enthusiasm towards her, Maina is consistently the least popular member of the group, leaving Eripiyo to take it upon herself to buy a lot of Maina's merchandise, which mainly involves singles.
Due to her using almost all of her money to buy this merchandise, Eripiyo has only a single tracksuit she wears all the time. She frequently goes to ChamJam's concerts with her friends and fellow ChamJam fans: Kumasa, whose favorite is Reo Igarashi, and Motoi, who prefers Sorane Matsuyama. Eripiyo continues to work several part-time jobs to support Maina, and Maina herself increasingly becomes concerned that Eripiyo is pushing herself too hard for her.
