Both are about a high school dropout who becomes a law worker with untraditional and at the first glance carefree attitude, but actually both investigate every case more seriously than their colleagues.
From the synopsis alone Bad Prosecutor reminded me of Hero. Like the deliquent/ prosecutor who seeks justice in an unconventional manner and comes head to head with a jaded system.
both are law comedies but one is about a team of lawyers and the other prosecutors. The leads are quirky and their co-workers are funny. In both dramas they go out to do fieldwork on their cases ala detectives in order to find the truth.
There is a similar relationship between male and female leads.
The main characters have unusual characteristics.
Both groups of main characters feel like a family.
If you love Ishiko to Haneo.. you will also love Hero starring Takuya Kimura and Takako Matsu.. comedy, witty, great chemistry with interesting plot case
Season 2 with Kitagawa Keiko also great.. Highly recommended to watch ^_^
