An Fun Chaotic Mess.....!
I honestly don't like historical dramas, the only one I've ever liked is Moon Lovers... (not counting Aos since that's a fantasy)...but this show is honestly so much fun... the characters are so fun and their banter is adorable...
The story has a fun adventure vibe...!
The search for the certain something has them all on edge and I'm totally engaged...
KJE is a solid actress and all her works this year showed that... from the cold boss in Branding in Seongsu to the cute reliable paramedic in Love Next Door...!
BIH is similarly on the rise... and his dimples are a bonus!

A very nice kdrama.
Just finished episode 8, waiting 9 and 10 to come out on Saturday and Sunday.Really, what an amazing awesome this one, I enjoy every episodes till now, and the comedy/fun in each episode soo nice and considerate.
The drama giving the vibe of one of the best kdrama Mr Queen.
Really soo fun watching.

I didn't expect this to be a ground breaking drama, the expectations are more like it sticks to popular themes in the past that made some of the comedic historical KDramas successful. The theme is usually about a young woman entering a school undercover as a man, her love interest is one of the male students who goes from enemy to friend to lover. Of course there are other male students who are potential suitors. They usually are a feast on the eyes and a reverse harem occurs. Hilarity ensues with the confusion of why she sometimes "acts" different and is over the top with her macho behavior at times. Throw in a public bathing situation she has to deal with along with all those rock hard bare chests and six packs she has to see. The acting is pretty solid and the characters didn't get on my nerves. The FL isn't too girly to be completely unbelievable as a young man and she seemed to be likeable enough.Watching this drama so far for me feels like when you want to be in a comfort zone where you want something dependable that will deliver. I just want to watch it and be entertained, nothing too deep or thought provoking but it is fun, campy, and may get some good laughs out of you.
The first half of ep 1 I was so-so and didn't pay close attention to it but it started to pick up steam for me towards the last half that got me laughing. The second episode continued with the pace and was just as good. It's going to be a bit of a wait for the next episode. I started this before it completed so I can't complain too much that I'm left hanging for close to a week before the next one.

An Entertaining Ride Indeed!
It’s been too long since I watch a crossdressing romcom this good!Channel A’s new weekend romance “Check in Hanyang” hugely revolves around Yongcheonru, a fictional guesthouse set in the Joseon dynasty known for its grandiose and mystique. You can call it the equivalent of modern five star hotels, the guest is literally the “King” there. The show focuses on the youthful journey of four new interns who join Yongcheonru for different reasons. Starring a talented casting that includes Bae In Hyuk, Kim Ji Eun, Jung Gun Joo and Park Jae Chan, the story hints at the budding friendship and inevitable romance between the main leads. Frankly, they are chaotically hilarious and the first two episodes were a breezy ride thanks to their rambunctious camaraderie. Each character has a different personality, a storyline and a varied past. Combining these three, the storytelling offers a fresh perspective into their current lives where they struggle to settle down in Yongcheonru.
