Same Actors Different Stories
Episode 1-Started off confusing as they didnt explain much. I wasn't sure how it was going to progress and if the soul mate plot was suppose to make it an alternate universe. The acting and the ending was good though.Episode 2: Completely different story line. The rolls, personalities and attitudes were swapped. Actors did amazing portraying the difference. Very Versatile. Again had a beginning to end plot in this episode just like episode one.
Episode 3: Yet another story! And again amazing acting by the actors for how different the roles, attitudes and personalities were again. There is one big difference though with this one, it continues into episode 4! There is a detail though that i hope most of you pick up on but Im pretty sure thats the reason they are extending it past a single episode like the previous two.
Episode 4: I cried, but, maybe because I know there will be a whole new story with a whole new ending next week, I am not sad. I cried because I felt the emotions, I believed it, their acting convinced me. 1 thing I would have liked explained....why a different country and what was that last conversation with his friend....to me the conversation insinuated he chose when and maybe that's why he went to the other country....
Episode 5: It looks like they are extending them to 2 episodes a story now. I did not feel worried going into this story after the last one as I know all Endings are different. I still love the back and forth of the dynamic of this couple. there wasn't much of a story in this episode as there was in episode 3 but it's still a lovely watch.
Episode 6: More context was given in this episode for episode 5 and was an adorable cheesy ending. There was still a larger amount of time left in the episode after the 'end' of this story and it looks like they are going to tie together the after scenes that are at the end of some episodes
Episode 7&8: Definitely i feel tied everything together even though the majority of the last story was only using the bts of only one of the previous story lines.
Please Watch, you won't regret it!
The more episodes i see the more it truly brings the series name to life, 'Every You, Every Me'.....Everytime, Every Life, no matter what.
I think this series is a unique and amazing idea, especially for the actors and their careers as it shows just how versatile they are. I am looking forward to the entire series.

Experimental series on connecting stories, the so-called metacinema and "not fulfilling its premise"
I wrote an initial review for the first episode of the series. As usual, I modified it as the episodes were broadcast. Subsequently, several readers have encouraged me to review the series in its entirety. This is that review:Does destiny exist? Everyone has their own point of view, there are those who say that everything happens for a reason, there are those who say that destiny exists and that we cannot escape its designs. Therefore, if so: are we directed? Does our life have meaning if we are already anchored to a future that, whether we want it or not, we cannot avoid? I, personally, do not believe so, I am a little more scientific, so to speak, and I believe that each person takes the reins of their life, and that there is no destiny, but rather cause and effect... However, this already remains within each person.
Whether you believe in destiny or not, soul mates are a myth about love that has remained alive for centuries, perhaps because we are all searching for it, because we know a story that reinforces it or, possibly, we have seen many movies and romantic television series.
Film and television have delved into the search for perfect, magical and lasting love, and have shown more than once that soul mates exist and are in the places you least imagine.
If destiny wants two boys to remain united in an indissoluble bond, so it will be, regardless of whether they both live more than a thousand lives, and in each of them they somehow manage to fall in love with each other. This is the premise of the Thai LGBT+-themed romantic drama 'Every You, Every Me', from director Sutida Singharach, university professor and director of the Film and Creative Media Arts program at the Faculty of Communication Arts (International Programme) Bangkok in his official debut behind the cameras, based on the script by Saipirun Chaichiangpin, renowned author of BL series such as 'Love Sick: The Series Season 2' (2015) and 'Reminders' (2019), and also debutant Jeong Thunyathorn.
However, will this be a story about destiny? Will it be about reincarnation or time travel? Will the viewer be able to discover how the characters will live the more than a thousand lives indicated in the synopsis? Will the plot develop according to the initial premise?
This is an innovative series in which the creators apparently play with the audience by offering false clues about the "accuracy of a synopsis."
Through independent plots, without a visible thread that unites them, without a tie that connects each of the stories, we will sometimes see stories with happy endings, at other times with closures that will make us cry; often with performances by part of the well-known supporting cast, occasionally with supporting actors who have recently entered the series. But yes: always with the presence of the two stars who dress in luxury and touch the sky with their performances..., always to tell us a better story than the previous one, which will keep us intrigued and expectant.
The truth is that with complete naturalness the two protagonists exchange personalities, characters, attitudes and characters from one chapter to another, since each story is completely different and if they have a connecting thread it is the performance of the same actors in each episode. The series is perfect for giving Mick and Top the opportunity to showcase all facets of their acting skills, something they achieve superbly.
'Every You, Every Me' is discussing these topics, through magical and lucky encounters, and these encounters occur between the characters played by two handsome and talented actors with meteoric growth within the BL industry in the country from Southeast Asia: Mick Monthon Viseshsin and Top Piyawat Phongkanitanon.
Through the interpretation of several characters that have no apparent relationship with each other, Mick and Top demonstrate that there is no series that cannot stand out for their presence, both being the type that BL lovers find attractive and intelligent; In other words, pine for them.
This is not the first time that both actors have met on the filming set, nor is this their inaugural performance as a couple in an audiovisual production. Already in 2023 the first plays Korn in 'My Universe', specifically in the story 'You Are My So(ul) Mate' Korn, while the second got into the shoes of Butr, his partner in this BL series.
'Every You, Every Me' keeps the audience's heart in its hands from the first to the last scene and, although it squeezes it at times and leaves a bitter taste when learning about sad endings or relationship problems that could cause the breakup of the itself, the series goes much further, as it reflects on how much of love is destiny and how much is a choice.
The main reason this series works where other romantic dramas fail is the casting. Mick and Top are affable leads with solid chemistry that mesh well enough and quickly enough for the audience to become reasonably invested in their activities and their romance in each of the stories the series tells.
Added to the mix is Meen Nattakrit Hamontri ('On Cloud Nine', 2022), and although his work is unaccredited and he acts only in the first story, he steals every scene in which he appears. For its part; Fiat Patchata Janngeon ('Shadow', 2023) and Ball Peeratad Promted play various characters throughout the series.
The beautiful photography of Danupat Thananurak, a skilled craftsman in his craft, helps the series take off with the growing closeness between the two young people, physically and emotionally, in each of the stories.
There are sad, boring, dull series... But that is not the case with 'Every You, Every Me'. And there are also those that serve to make you laugh, to make you sing, to make you cry, to make you have a pleasant time, to make you feel emotional. And this is useful for all that, but it can also be used to identify yourself.
Or even to extract reflections, for example on destiny or on the hooks, false or not, that creators let slip to draw the public's attention to their product. Which is behind everything. When decisions are made, perhaps it sends signals, it will depend on how we interpret them to be happy or not. Or if that assertion, practically shattered today, is true, that if a single person appears in your life that you really want to be with, don't hesitate, this is your series.
Philosophical disquisitions aside, this television delight of romanticism and the BL genre is a breath of fresh air, of legitimately sentimental and involving audiovisual production.
The protagonists are irresistibly charming, adorable; one follows them in their smallest and largest gestures with great delight.
It's one of those beautiful series, really really beautiful. And although it exudes a certain bitter aftertaste, both bitterness and sadness, although it may sound strange, can generate a strange happiness, as is the case. And so, once the final credits roll, it is easy to be overcome, as happens to me every time I review each episode to write the review, with a feeling of lasting happiness and a tremendous desire for this couple to continue meeting in one and a thousand more lives.
Of course, the soundtrack is in charge of doing its thing to recharge the cake even more and one ends up thinking that it is worth trusting and believing in destiny.
And already in the final episodes, the magic increases: you can see the love that the director has for the seventh art by using cinema within cinema or metacinema as an artistic and narrative resource that has been used by filmmakers from all over the world throughout of cinema history.
Experimental and innovative series, it seems not to care about the synopsis itself and fully immerses the audience, in episodes 6 and 7 (even at the end of 5) in metacinema, something little or never seen in a Thai BL.
Sutida Singharach deploys her arsenal of knowledge about the seventh art and manages to place cinema at the center of her series. It uses the characters Roy Inn, played by Mick, and Pun, played by Top, two actors who are going through a breakup in their love relationship, so during the filming process both have difficulties showing their acting skills in a scene in which they must kiss.
Under these circumstances, the director and production company of the series in which the actors participate decide that Roy Inn and Pun need to participate in an acting workshop to ensure that they adjust their behavior, or else the film project runs the risk of being stopped due to the incompatibility of the actors.
In this way, the series appeals to metacinema to peek into the processes of film creation and the professional performance of directors, producers, performers and scriptwriters. Likewise, the viewer obtains privileged access to the backstage of the cinema, and suffers and enjoys the conflicts that emerge behind the camera.
Knowing that filming is, in effect, a stage in which ego struggles, asymmetrical power relations, unforeseen events and human limitations are unleashed, the director of the series, like a magician showing his tricks, uses ' Every You, Every Me' to reveal the strategies that allow the cinematographic illusion to be generated. It also plays with the transfers that occur between reality and fiction, between life and cinema.
Many viewers have reported that the series does not fulfill its premise, as they expect the stories to be clearly connected to each other.
Sutida Singharach does not care about complying with the classic regulations of Aristotelian linearity, the narrative clauses... in short, the guidelines of the dominant historical decalogue.
In other words, the creators break the traditional narrative scheme. They ignore the three units that serve as literary rules, designed especially for theater, but that have a broader extension as aesthetic criteria and art theory, by requiring that an artistic work (specifically literary) must have a certain unitary character.
According to this part of the audience, everything seems to be upside down by not having a visible link that unites the stories, with the non-compliance of the premise of a thousand lives for the two protagonists to live together. For these, nothing closes or pretends not to close. I have even heard it said that Sutida Singharach shows no interest in making the viewer feel safe, satisfied.
Quite the opposite: 'Every You, Every Me' seeks complicity with the audience, unsettling them, annoying them, taking stories and characters down unexplored paths, so that the audience puts alternative instances of appreciation on the offensive.
In concert, the director and screenwriter ensured that the series – as a source of worlds and stories – fostered new experiences for the public when appreciating a work. What they formulate is a proposition that invites, not only the intervention of the viewer during the 8 episodes of the series, but also after the screen goes black.
The above is more than plausible when both cinema and television like the inflexible point of view of closed discourse, reluctant to grow after the visualization of the product has concluded.
In this way, showing its condition as an interactive neural work, of passion and drive, of tension and restlessness, the series ensures its permanence in the BL Olympus.

This Is My Roman Empire
This drama is Pizza, and Pizza is life. It’s a warm blanket on a winter night, wine and popcorn on a Sunday evening and fluffy clouds candies all wrapped in one. It’s one of the best dramas that came out this year, heck it's one of the best bl that came out of the industry. That being said, X and Namping traumatised me so much, I almost had a heart attack half way though the finale.Listen, when the first episode started I went: what in the Wangxian, ao3 tags #soulmates #hurtnocomfort fanfic is this??? And why is it bloody awesome!?! I love it, please give me more! This drama is like when you enter a random restaurant and order the first thing you can pronounce but when it comes it's like a five-course meal, tastes like happiness with a side of chocolate fountain and have a live performance by Adele, all for the price of €6.99.
What I am trying to say is that, this drama is really great. It's a gem, a unicon. And you should be watching it like yesterday. I love the premise so much. I might just be that one person and try to sneak it into every conversation I have from now on.

Me: So Namping left, right? And X waited and fixed the car but then... no, you don't know them. But then... and the box had photos and his videos. He filmed a farewell... *starts crying*
Random person at the next table: See Sharon, I told you we should stay home and ordered pizza, outside people are crazy.
Me: *still sobbing*: I'm not crazy, my mom had me tested. Nampingggggg, why? why you do this to meee! waeeeeeee.
Random person at the next table: I hate you Sharon.
No but, the funny thing is, I went into this series without even reading the summary. I had no idea what the hell it was about, other than I added it from one of those lists of upcoming bls on a random Tuesday. But yeah, I clicked on the first episode and fell in love with the leads and the concept so much, I legit stalked the actors socials after the 4th episodes just to make sure Top and Mick are okay, cuz that episode broke me. Then the audacity of those two dancing and smiling on tiktok while my heart was broken. They lucky I couldn't reach into the phone screen and slap them with a rubber chicken for making us cry buckets.
Anyway, here is my review of every story arc and my ratings.
DOL & SUN: (ep1) -- 8.5/10
This episode with people seeing colour for the first time when they meet their soulmates in the rain, reminded me sooo much of a Wangxian soulmates fanfic I read once on ao3. Sidenote: Anyone else keep rewatching untamed and reading the novel? Literally, why can't I move on from Wangxian? It's been years. Anyway, the carrot washing...wait, wrong episode. I meant colours. So, this episode was straight out of a fanfic, and I loved it.
At first I was like, Dol, stop playing hard to get, look at how adorable Sun looks in that helmet. And then that loser ex-boyfriend showed up, and I felt so sad for Sun, who has been hurt and lied to, and still had to endure physical abuse from that mouth breather. So when Dol showed up, I clapped. The plot of this one was straight forward, Dol had problem opening up cuz of his childhood and Sun was naive believing in soulmates. Thankfully, they figured it out in the end.
My fav part with Dol and Sun was when Sun showed up at his work to celebrate Dol's birthday when everyone seemed to have forgotten. I knew then and there they were gonna end up together. It was like that part in a fanfic when the writer leaves a note like... sorry, my cat is in therapy so no updates this week, but next week is gonna be #fluffy #weiwuxiangetsahappyending.
Anyway, as the opening to the series, it did a good job keeping my attention. They had that one episode to tell a story that felt complete and they did it so well. Mick and Top were great leads, and they made me fell in love with the characters, and the drama immediately.
PRIN & FRIST: (ep2) -- 9/10
Imagine my surprise when this episode started and they seemed to have switch things up, and now Prin is rich, the boss, looks like a prince from one of those disney movies, and First is a clumsy adorable secretary. I was like... wow, why you two such good actors, making me believe this is a completely different drama. No, but someone give Mick and Top their flowers!
Prin and First story was so simply. It was as easy as breathing, At first I was sad First was hiding the deal with the grandma, and thought it was gonna create a nonsense misunderstanding that would make them fell apart, but then Prin was so far gone, he didn't even care when he found out. I also love how the grandma wanted Prin to find someone and legit didn't care who it was. I was so happy it was only 1 episode, cuz imagine the nonsense episode 11 we'd have gotten, making us cry.
First was so cute in this one, with his pen and notebook being all adorable and quietly quitting cause he couldn't find anyone for Prin, and the whole time, I'm like... it's you. Come on brother, take a hint! The ending of course was so cute and fluffy and I was like... awww this drama is going to be all cute and lovey dovey for 8 episodes. Good, I need some fluffy Sunday dramas. BUT BOY WAS I WRONG. I WAS SOOO WRONG.
X & NAMPING: (ep3-4) -- 9.5/10 -- disclaimer (Pain level 100000000^2)
This arc sucks. It should be burn with fire. Matter of fact, throw the whole thing into the pits of hell. Dafug you mean he didn't show up the next year right when X finally brave up and got to know him?? TEARRRRSSSSSSS. And to think X wasted all those years not talking to Namping, and instead pretending to visit a random arse ghost he didn't even know. His ancestors must be proud. If only he'd had the courage to make a move faster. If only.
It's my fault, already in episode 3, I was like: hmmm is he sick? why is he dropping stuff? But then X lifted him from the shattered glass like he was the most precious element in the world, and I immediately went, 'naaah, he's fine. Look at them, adorable.' So yeah, should have seen it coming, but I was too busy going 'awwww' like an idiot.
Personally, I don't really remember the side couple in this one, did they end up together? I started sniffing when Namping broke down crying when they were about to do the devil's tango. Then, my eyes watered when X woke up and Namping was gone. And when Namping started crying without picking up X's calls, I went... no, bish no, don't do this to me. THEN... THEN... he didn't even get to see that the car was fixed. X breaking down was a process, from his realisation to full on sobbing was.... Me sitting in front of my TV on a Sunday evening sobbing was not in my plans, but that Sunday ended with me going to bed sad. I was sad about this until like the next week when I saw a behind the scene and Namping(Top) was there during that sobbing scene and went to comfort X(Mick).
Okay, but... NAMPING is the most graceful, angelic, cloud, fluffy, beautiful character ever! No, really how did Top managed to look so cloudy with a chance of angel like that? Like, even when he was sitting on that luggage he looked like an angel or some heavenly deity that shouldn't even be disturbed. It felt like it was even a sin to just touch him, cuz he came off so pure. Namping is the definition of clouds and desserts. He deserved all the princess treatment he got and more. And when they were in the river, literally those two have great chemistry, and their combined beauty seemed almost unreal.
Then of course there was X in those mechanic overalls, looking like whoever invented the word 'damn!' saw his picture at a museum one time. Like, he went from being soo clumsily cute in the last arc as First, then suddenly he was walking around like a tasty offering making those ghost brush. I'm still in awe at how amazing those two are able to switch roles so seamlessly.
I think this arc, although it hurt like a motherfather was my fav, cuz it forced me to feel, and it stayed with me for a while when it was completed. It's what a good story should do. And as always Mick and Top were amazing in their roles.
SIAN & BLUE: (ep5-6) 9/10
Now, how in the world did Namping go from being an angelic person to being a little gremlin? No, he was such a mood. When he kept sending Blue off to look for him, then he'd reopen the door looking like a beef cake, distracting the poor guy, I couldn't stop laughing. He was a little sh!t and I loved him so much.
This time it was Blue who was the cute, adorable one, painting and cooking, and just being the best brother ever to Green, while also thirsting after Sian and his hair and inability to put on a shirt. That fixing the pipe scene where he was just outside the window having an impromptu shower, while Blue tried to remember how to breathe was pure gold.
This was also a relax episode, even though there was some depth with how Sian seemed to have lost his passion with the lost of his ex, and Blue having wronged a friend. My fav part is how Blue, Sian and Green formed their own little family. And when he sang the song (Every Tears) he wrote and all their past lives was playing. TEARS. I'm gonna miss their arc so much.
Also, why the hell he always have some ex-boyfriend? Like, that dude just can't wait until his soulmate finds him? Not gonna lie, up until now, I have no idea what happened to that boy Sian wanted to marry, did he go out and never come back, or did he die? Felt like he went out to get eggs one morning and then dipped. Oh well, Blue got to see that water scene out the window, so a win is a win. Oh and, washing my carrots is gonna be interesting from now onwards.
INN & PUN: (ep2, 4, 6-8) 9/10
When these two first showed up in ep2, I was like: whomst? where are we? then the second time, I was like: ooh, so they are actors, and the arcs we are seeing are their series as partners, so no soulmates? Alright, cool cool, what a twist, but I get it, I love it, I'm here for it. When Inn asked Pun to be his boyfriend after Namping and X destroyed us, I was very happy, and went... okay, we good, no matter how the stories they are acting in hurts me, I know they are together behind the scenes and that's all that matters.
So tell me, why right after Sian and Blue got their happy ending, those two out there talking about they've been on and off and now they've definitely broken up cuz they can't change for each other? Bish then don't change? I swear I was prepared to sue for emotional damages if they'd broken my heart like X and Namping, After episode 3-4, I couldn't do the weeping alone in my house thing anymore. It was starting to feel sad and frankly, a little bit pathetic.
These two are my parents. I thought no matter what happens in the project they act in, they would be together forever behind the scenes, so then I won't be sad, so the dafug you mean you've broken up?? No, but when I saw Inn so happy with his ring, ready to propose, then Pun just broke up with him... I teared a bit. Cuz suddenly, Inn was back to being X, crying for Namping in that damn car. And the years later tag did not help at all, cuz I was like... oh, no, they about to break my heart again. I don vex when I saw the Otto Inn best couple thing... like y'all better be playing out here or something, cuz...
But thank the eff, everything ended on a happy note. I was sad Pun let them break up, saying it was was for the best, but then the flashback happened, and I understood. He gave them a chance to become the best version of themselves, so they could come back together and grow stronger. That proposal was the best ever. Like one random morning over breakfast, Inn just saw Pun as the man he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, and then, he went down on his kneels and Pun said yes. Ahhhh tears.
The story of these two was such a rollercoaster. They were on and off, then off for years even though they loved each other. That workshop scene was amazing, really showed what good actors Mick and Top are. They said so much with just repeating the same words. Talented indeed.
It was interesting, knowing that while playing Sian and Blue, two people so lovey dovey, all that ish was going on backstage with the actors. Also, Pun, darling, that's not a face for being behind the scenes. You need to be center stage in front of the cameras. Then Pun was talking about not wanting to see Inn's work, cuz he'd be jealous of his co-stars, girl, who's fault was that, huh Mr. Cool Director? But all ended well, so I can't even complain. I loved Inn and Pun as much as I loved the other characters, perhaps even more, cuz there are OG.
OVERALL:
Yes, everything wasn't flawless, because they had limited time, some things were not expanded on, or were vague, or felt rushed. But, we had enough to make every arc feel complete and keep our interest. The production team on this did a really good job, and I'm sad we get only 8 episodes. It's not enough, this deserves like 5 seasons and a reunion season in 2030. Usually, I rant and nitpick, but I simply enjoyed this drama way too much, so imma just let all that slide. The stories we got were great, the characters great, and the chemistry was chemistrying. Mick and Top were really versatile and such greats actors. They made each new character their own, and completely made me immersed in them, without even comparing the previous characters. Where do they live? Imma use my last couple of dollars to send them flowers, and an angry note for making me cry in episode 4.
One thing I also liked was that, normally there's a clear top and bottom, but it took me until episode 3 to realise they are switching in this, and it was amazing, cuz it gave the actors room to be versatile and portray different characters with different set of emotions and actions
I can't wait to see more work from Mick and Top. I pledge to watch whatever they put out, even if it's them watching grass grow. I HIGHLY recommend this drama to all bl and drama lovers. It's a unicon, a true gem, and you need to watch it like yesterday. This is now my most favourite drama this year, and perhaps all time fav bl drama. GO WATCH IT, trust me.

unique premise (same actors, different characters/stories)
Overall: this is not a reincarnation/time travel plot as all the stories happen in the present day. Instead, the actors play different characters in standalone plots (episodes 3 and 4 were 1 story, 5 and 6 were 1 story and then 7 and 8 tie everything together in a way). 8 episodes about 55 minutes each. Episode 1 - I was a bit confused with the world building but then it made sense. I enjoyed the sweet moments, the friendship (potentially aromantic character as a bonus) and the intimate partner abuse felt realistic. Not a fan of the comedy sound effects and they could have made it a bit faster pacing-wise. Content warnings: intimate partner abuse/violence, manipulation, manhandling, past death
Episode 2 - typical cold CEO/nervous worker plot. That grandma way overstepped boundaries though her heart was in the right place. Enjoyed the sweet moments. Content Warnings: manipulation
Episodes 3 & 4 - I was going to rate this higher; however, I couldn't get into the moping/angst because they explained it much too late. Not a fan of silent simping for years and making a choice for someone without talking to them first. Liked the second couple and the supportive friends/family/coworkers. Content Warning: a major one but I'm keeping this spoiler free
Episodes 5 & 6 - there were peak visuals in this episode lol, I enjoyed the flirting and physical affection. I really disliked the invasion of privacy and the shoehorned plot with the female character. They spent too much time on the past in this episode as well. Content Warning: past death, manipulation

What I Liked: I most enjoyed how the actors were able to play such different characters, the styling was great. The commentary on challenges of shipwork towards the end was also unique and interesting.
Room For Improvement: because I didn't see a key aspect of them as an established couple, it was difficult for me to root for them. The non linear storytelling at the end of episode 6 thru 8 made things needlessly confusing. They didn't actually show what didn't work, so I'm not convinced everything has been resolved and it won't happen again. The time jump felt like a cliche way to resolve the conflict.

This series really did something innovative in the land of Thai BLs and it is a welcomed refresher as a whole. Initially after watching eps 1 & 2, you'd think that every episode would be a new adventure entirely. But then 3 & 4 come and it starts to tie together slowly. (And maybe you're half destroyed with tears in your eyes like me with the end of ep 4.) Then the last episodes in particular, are like a series within a series. To me, it was great and I honestly could watch 10+ more episodes. (Maybe we can look forward to a special episode at least?)And not only was the series refreshing, but the actors were just as equally refreshing and wonderful to watch. I felt like they were able to carry these different stories with the different complexities and emotions very well. The chemistry between them was incredible and I truly hope it's not the last we see of them together.
Probably one of my favorite series of the whole year.

From the synopsis, these two have lived hundreds of lives and end up together in every one, but since there's no indication of this lore yet, I'll view them as standalone stories and rate them individually first.
Episode 1 - 7/10
Starting off strong with a fantasy element, this story takes place in a world where the rain let's you see your soulmate in color, it was a bit confusing the way they did it since it doesn't clarify if everyone is colorblind or if it's just during the rain, but the idea was fun. Their interactions were cute enough but the character development was kind of one sided and their chemistry was just decent.
Episode 2 - 6.5/10
This episode was your classic boss-falls-for-his-secretary type of setting, with a bit of family drama to keep it interesting. Honestly the story was nothing special, but their characters were cute and they did have some sweet moments. I enjoyed how different they were from the first episode's characters, showing off that they have a bit of a range in their acting.
Episodes 3 & 4 - 8.5/10
Episode 3 was a ball of butterflies in your stomach and a warm tension in the air, episode 4 was a mix of tension, confusion, and sadness. The story this time started off a little uncomfortable, a longing love from afar, a car mechanic visiting a family gravesite happens upon a beautiful man visiting his parents gravesite. He looks forward to seeing him every year and when opportunity finally presents itself their chemistry-packed acquaintance begins. This episode changed my mind completely about this series, both their characters and their chemistry were so much better than in the first two stories. The story was a little heartbreaking, though the last few minutes of the episode really makes you question what you just watched.
Episode 5 - 9/10
What a thirst trap, this episode showcases a whole new level of chemistry, even without the insinuations and hot cuts, the way these two flirt in this story is fire. Not gonna lie, switching it up so that Top is a top was a great move, he just oozed sexy completely killed his role. The story this time is a washed up musician who drunkenly agrees to teach his fan how to play guitar, when his fan's big brother tags along to make sure he's teaching properly, their personalities aren't the only things that rub eachother the wrong way ;) . Episode 6 will finish this story so we'll see how this relationship pans out, but so far it's sweet and steamy right out of the oven.

For the series as a whole:
Other than being the same actors, the characters names, personalities, and even the setting or lore are all completely different. For anyone who hasnt seen this couple before, Mick and Top have their own cute short story in 'My Universe' (a Thai BL short story compilation) as schoolmates who basically fall for eachother at first sight. If 'My Universe' was made to decide what couple to cast in the new series, 'Every You, Every Me' was made to decide what type of story they should play in.
It's been fun watching the duality these two have, its like we get to see what flavor of acting theyre best at which is enjoyable in its own way. So far its getting good and im excited to see more, though I do hope theyll tie the stories together at the end. Anyway, I'll add to the review after each new episode is released.

A show with a unique concept
•Every you, Every me basically follows the oneshot concept of fixed couples which some might know from reading fanfictions. Seeing the execution of this concept on screen is a breath of fresh air.• For most part, I enjoyed this show. I liked the idea of the actors having stories that were in no connection with each other. Plus, with the genre of each story being different, it gave viewers liberty to pick a story of their choice. •The first two episodes had different stories and settings. Then, for the remaining six episodes, the story was made in two parts. Episode 3&4, 5&6 and 7&8 are related. This kind of threw me off, cause I would've appreciated them to stick to the one-story episode dynamic. Luckily, the storylines in the these episodes were interesting enough to keep me hooked, they I find them a bit clichéd and predictable at times.
•MickTop is a really pair. They both had great chemistry. Plus, given that each story has a different theme to it (basically all are romance, but with additional concepts like soulmates, boss-employee, etc). So, they were able to showcase their versatility as actors through these episodes. I really loved Top in his long hair era, that was a cherry to the eye. And Mick's emotional scenes in ep.4 were very impactful to me. The other characters were also good in their roles, and the occasional side couples in the stories were also a delightful to see.
•Overall, Every you, Every me is definitely an underrated gem. The concept is unique and the execution and acting is great. I just wish it had more episodes so we would have more choices and storylines to watch. But this intiative suffices in every bit.

Easily the best BL of 2024..
I wasn’t expecting much when I started EY, EM because I was basically checking in on Mick after seeing him in La Cuisine and My Universe and finding him utterly adorable..It is not overstating to say that EY, EM blew me away in several aspects..
I already knew Top & Mick had amazing chemistry after watching them on My Universe, but this was a whole other level.
The unique approach of EY, EM, having the couple in several storylines, but portraying different characters, really highlighted Mick & Top’s adaptability and range and really sets this BL apart from the usual BL storyline tropes we see 90% of the time.
I also saw something I have NEVER seen in BL before: the same actors getting their time portraying both the “top” and “bottom” roles within the series. Can we talk about giving the screenwriter a big fat raise?! This move was pure genius. Lesser actors would not have been able to pull off both roles so believably and effortlessly as Top & Mick. Each episode seemed to get better and better.
This series had a great combination of humor (no eye-rolling humor & cartoon sound effects), romance, tear-jerking scenes (wow, just wow), and spicy moments, keeping the pacing on track and never dragging.
The production level was really good, the OST was beautiful and never distracting or repetitive, the supporting cast was great, and the dialogue was not inane, recycled BL speak.
Never did a scene with Top & Mick feel like they were acting: no awkwardness, no fake kissing with paralyzed lips.. Everything felt so natural, that when they cried, I cried.. when they laughed, I laughed.. When it was over (with an amazing ending, thank God) I really wished there was more episodes..
I highly recommend this series if you like a more mature, real-life type of BL, without goofy sound effects and 30 yr olds portraying HS and college kids..
I think you’ll be as happily surprised as I was!

10/10 acting skills - original plot
I loved every single episode and it just kept getting better and better through out. Both mains acting skills and chemistry was amazing! I only wished we had more episodes because I don’t want it to end.I deducted 0.5 points only because it is a little confusing and maaaaybe the plot could have been teased a little better. But, all in all it was both original and entertaining.
The ability the actors had to make me feel the feels was top-notch. I hope to see them act more in the future, seperately and together :)

Very refreshing!
Great story, unique and unexpected. Awesome acting. All in all the series was very refreshing and I enjoyed it immensely.There wasn’t one boring minute in there. The actors looked and acted naturally and human and the chemistry they created was 100% believable.The only thing I found a little cringey was the endling. Showing up with the flowers and “stealing” the show didn’t fit perfectly to the rest of how the story went and how the characters behaved - at least not in my eyes - but the actual proposal felt genuine and real.
The show was a breath of fresh air!

It leaves quite an impression
It does. Whoever wanted to promote these two actors had a brilliant idea and made a smart move with this project. The artists are extremely talented and beautiful, and they succeeded in showcasing their skills amazingly. Their beauty is quite uncommon, with distinctive, prominent features. Their talent is simply breathtaking, proving them to be versatile and extremely skillful actors. They succeeded to brilliantly portray very different characters, with very different behaviors and to convey powerful, profound feelings. I was invested the whole series, in every story, to the point that I was thinking about them even at work. And trust me, my job is one which simply doesn't leave space for anything else other than itself in the brains. I am impressed.Story #1: Dol & Sun
This is set in a fictional universe where people are able to see their soulmates when it rains. Not very appealing to me, and I must admit that for a few minutes I had doubts I could continue watching. But then the actors came and made all my doubts go away. Mick as Dol was an angelic figure (which he is by nature), and Top as Sun was a heartwarming one. The story isn't necessarily special, but the actors/ characters were so endearing that they kept my eyes glued to the screen. In this first story, I liked Dol/ Mick better than Sun/ Top.
Story #2: Prin & First
This plot was even weaker than the first one (for me at least), but again, the actors did such an amazing job that I completely forgot about the scenario. The artists switched roles: the reserved one became livelier, and the sunny, lively one became somber. Here I was equally impressed by both of them, when realizing how skillful they are. Also, seeing them portraying opposite temperaments was refreshing and fun to watch. Top as Prin was classy in a classic way, while Mick as First was simply sweet; he gave off the feeling that he wasn't even acting, he was just being himself.
Story #3: X & Namping
This scenario was a good one. With a heavy theme and profound sentiments, it was an impressive love-story, of Romeo and Juliet caliber, except separation was due to illness. Oh, and both of them are males. Sorry, I forgot. Being deeply touched by the story and impressed by the acting, I cried as if my mother had just died. I couldn't believe myself. The actors were equally impressive, brilliant and geniuses. Mick as X was quite manly, which was unexpected, given his naturally angelic features. Hats off! And when he cried over the death of his beloved, the whole universe collapsed. I believe this will stay with me for a while, and don't think I ever saw an actor crying so tragically, yet so convincing. He was simply a Grand Master of Acting. Top as Namping was another Grand Master. Being the princess that he was in this scenario, I was (and still am) in awe of his grace and delicacy; his whole being was like the shuffle of angels wings. At the same time, he was majestic. He deserved all the devotion in the universe, he knew it and he owned it.
By the time we reached this story, the artists have already travelled quite a journey: from simple, cute, endearing to serious, to heavenly creatures, or vice versa, from angelic to manly, to tragic. Also, the feelings became more and more compelling.
Story #4: Sian & Blue
This is where I liked Top/ Sian better than Mick/ Blue. Now, from the heavenly creature Namping, Top became a manly (but still with a hint of grace) and very sensual one, in order to impersonate Sian. He actually started out with a gremlin appearance, but very soon became an incredibly sexy, tempting character. Every minute, every second, he was exuding desire for his more timid counterpart. Even when he was simply leaning to the wall, waiting for Phukan to finish her conversation with Blue, he was giving off a flirtatious vibe. Mick also did a good job impersonating Blue, a character again serious and a little shy. But this time the couple's dynamic is different from the first story, because Blue is a little more honest about his desires and more playful. In his case, the change of role is rather on the side of subtlety.
Story #5: Inn & Pun
The beginning of this one is confusing because it isn't cut from the previous story, and it makes us think that we're about to see some BTS moments. Which in a sense we are. To clarify, the last scenario is about Inn and Pun, two actors who play the roles of Sian and Blue from the previous scenario.
I didn't really like this plot simply because I'm not into BTS moments, I'm not interested at all about what happens on the plateau during filming. Also, seeing the actors playing their roles while being surrounded by so many people ruins the fairy tale for me. Everything becomes artificial and looses its charm. But the actors did an amazing job again, succeeding to portray a difficult relationship, filled with angst. No sensuality this time. Even the scenes where Sian was like the god of temptation were stripped of any sensuality; they were presented like trivial acts of work made by common people at their job. The focus was purely on the feelings, and the artists did a great job emphasizing them. Inn and Pun were complicated people, with complicated feelings, and had a complicated relationship. But still, they were pure at heart. Both Mick and Top managed to impersonate their respective characters equally convincing, and I'm not sure whether I didn't forget to breathe for a while, waiting for them, as Inn and Pun, to solve their differences. And when Inn started to cry, I literally jumped off my bed screaming "No, no, no! Don't cry! Don't cry! Don't cry!" But I was already in tears. Luckily, his crying wasn't that tragic this time, and mine wasn't as bad.
In conclusion, the journey is beautiful, captivating, fascinating and satisfying. The actors gained my highest respect and BRAVO to all the filmmakers who contributed to this unique story.

I don't think I've ever seen a series with so many layers, so beautifully delivered that it captures the essence of each role uniquely. Unknowingly, from episode one we are led to believe that this would be eight episodes of different stories and in each, they would always choose each other. Who wouldn't enjoy a series of romances with happy endings? So,I sat, every Sunday afternoon expecting blissful bl happiness. Something else was in store.Mick and Top played with our feelings and played it well. They made us believe in heros and soulmates. Office romances with a 'fairy' grandmother. Then the emotional rollercoaster took a dive into the suffering a loved one feels being left behind with unfullfilled dreams and painful memories. I'm not ashamed to say I cried as if my loved one had died. But it is here the real story begins. Actors portraying roles, becoming lovers and losing their way. It is difficult in real real life to navigate the multitude of happenings and feelings to continue in love, even though you make take diverging paths. To portray the tone deafness and closed off responses given in defense, all the while knowing that deep love is still there. They embodied every character and the nuances that brought them to life. No traits lapping over until the real story emerged. They were unique.
The series rose to different heights each week and I was never disappointed. Episode eight is my favourite for the fact that we don't always get what we want when we want but with growth and love we might get what we need when we most need it. Through it all, it was a beautiful to see a small ensemble deliver each week. There were things that could have been done differently. The predictability of the first two episodes didn't have any outstanding dialogue to make it any different than what was heard before. The switch from acting to real life was a bit confusing at first. Inn and Pun started dating in ep four and then they went straight to breaking up. Only in episode eight, it was revealed the reason but still not convincingly enough as the breakup still felt one sided.
Mick and Top interact beautifully together. They have the skills to pull every emotion from every scene in subtle ways. This vehicle was a great way to showcase their talents. Ball and Fiat also did well. It would be nice to see them together again. Rewatch - definitely.
