Im Chul Hyung will be added to the cast lineup of the upcoming K-drama "Brain Cooperation."
Back in July, the production already confirmed the cast lineup of the upcoming series "Brain Cooperation." On November 17th, it was revealed that Im Chul Hyung will also be joining the cast.
Im Chul Hyung will play the role of Park Chi Guk, the center director of the Brain Science Institute.
This series will be the first project of the actor for 2023. This year, Im Chul Hyung was busy with two dramas. He was a supporting role in the dramas "Military Prosecutor Doberman" and "Doctor Lawyer."
Im Chul Hyung made his acting debut in 2006. Since then, he has participated in several K-dramas "Criminal Minds," "Secret Boutique," "Team Bulldog: Off-duty Investigation," "Flower of Evil," "Kairos," "You Raise Me Up," and "Moonshine" as a supporting role. He also made a lot of special appearances in several hit dramas.
Aside from drama series, Im Chul Hyung also starred in several movies. The actor was part of the 2022 film "The Policeman's Lineage" led by Jo Jin Woong. Choi Woo Shik, Park Hee Soon, Kwon Yool, Park Myung Hoon, and Lee Eol.
"Brain Cooperation" will be led by CNBLUE's Jung Yong Hwa, Cha Tae Hyun, Kwak Sun Young, and Ye Ji Won.
The series will showcase the journey of two men who are impatient to kill each other while they work together to solve a criminal case related to a brain disease.
"Brain Cooperation" will be the next work of director Lee Jin Seo ("Revolutionary Sisters," "Heaven's Order," "Baby-faced Beauty," and "Becoming a Billionaire.")
The upcoming series will premiere in January 2023. It will be part of the Monday and Tuesday drama timeslot of KBS. The series will have a total of 16 episodes.
