Kim Hye Yoon will reportedly join Lomon in the upcoming SBS K-drama I'm Human from Today.
On August 16, media outlets reported that Kim Hye Yoon will be the main lead of the upcoming K-drama I'm Human from Today. The series was first offered to Lomon and actress Shin Sae Kyeong. Lomon is still considering the offer while Shin Sae Kyeong possibly declined it.
Kim Hye Yoon's agency responded to the casting report. According to them, the actress did receive the offer and is discussing it thoroughly. Nothing has been decided yet.
I'm Human from Today will tell the story of a gumiho with an unchanging youth and beauty. Unlike the traditional Gumiho, Eun Ho stays away from good deeds and men in fear that she will become human. After meeting a star soccer player, her life as a gumiho will change.
The upcoming K-drama will be the joint work of director Kim Jung Kwon (Maestra: Strings of Truth and Love to Hate You) and writers Jo Ah Young and Park Chan Young who created the web series Best Chicken. The K-drama will be produced by Binge Works.
Kim Hye Yoon got the offer to play the role of Eun Ho, a hobby-rich MZ Gumiho. She does not age and also does not want to take responsibility for anything. She only enjoys her life in the human world.
Lomon on the other hand got the offer to portray the role of Kang SI Yeol, a soccer star player with excessive self-love.
There is no confirmation yet on the release date of I'm Human from Today but it will reportedly air on SBS.
This year, Kim Hye Yoon received a lot of love after starring in Lovely Runner. Many are already anticipating her next project after the hit K-drama.
Kim Hye Yoon is also currently busy with her solo fan meeting overseas.
Aside from I'm Human from Today, Kim Hye Yoon will also join the upcoming K-drama The Year We Turned 29 with Red Velvet's Joy.
