Ahn Se Ha portrays the character No Sang Sik, who is both a secretary and a friend of Gu Won (played by Lee Joon Ho), in the JTBC weekend drama King the Land (written by Choi Rom, directed by Im Hyun Wook). No Sang Sik showcases delightful chemistry with Gu Won as they work together, bringing laughter to viewers with his straightforward and witty remarks in any situation.

The perfect embodiment of a deeply immersed character: "I'm quite popular, you know"

In the first episode, Sang Sik unknowingly mistakes Kim Soo Mi (played by Gong Ye Ji) as the new division chief and teasingly says, "I'm quite popular, you know. So it's a bit exhausting." In the second episode, when Sang Sik casually exchanges an informal speech with Cheon Sa Rang (played by Im Yoon Ah) and she responds with "Okay, oppa," Sang Sik amusingly remarks to Gu Won, "Did you hear that? She started calling me oppa within five minutes. It's a skill to make you tired." From his lively speech and actions to his mannerisms, Ahn Se Ha perfectly embodies the character of No Sang Sik and shines with his charm.

Unforgettable 'Lee Joon Ho sniper': Uninhibited remarks that bring pleasure

Sang Sik's patent-pending facts bombardment adds to the enjoyment of the drama. When Gu Won stubbornly resists unreasonable demands from his superior, Sang Sik sarcastically remarks, "That guy's personality is quite something," and blames himself, saying, "I must have chosen the wrong path," upon seeing Gu Won's lack of ambition in managing the company.

Especially in the fifth episode, when Gu Won expresses concern for Sa Rang, who is caught in bad weather while visiting a farm in Jirisan, Sang Sik comments, "Isn't it funny that you worry so much when you sent her there yourself?" Sensing Gu Won's feelings for Sa Rang, Sang Sik irritably adds, "Why to bother having everything if you don't understand a woman's heart? You might as well become a hermit." Ahn Se Ha's direct and fiery remarks toward Lee Joon Ho evoke laughter from viewers.

Moments that provoke laughter! Ahn Se Ha's comic acting shines

Ahn Se Ha's comic acting in King the Land is also noteworthy. In the fourth episode, Sang Sik infuriates Gu Won by teasing his flaws, saying, "That's why you can't date." When Gu Won throws documents, Sang Sik reacts dramatically, creating an amusing scene. Ahn Se Ha's heightened comic energy seamlessly blends with Lee Joon Ho's performance, leaving a strong impression.

In the fifth and sixth episodes, Ahn Se Ha's shameless yet comedic acting shines. When Sang Sik enters Gu Won's office without knocking and expresses dissatisfaction, he pretends to leave and re-enters as if nothing happened. Although he ambitiously tries to stop Gu Won from taking a helicopter ride, saying, "Step on me if you want to go," when Gu Won sincerely accepts, Sang Sik humorously remarks, "Then have a pleasant flight. This way, please," bringing laughter to viewers.

Ahn Se Ha, through his agency Hunus Entertainment, stated that he made efforts to highlight the character of No Sang Sik. He described No Sang Sik as a lively character who is like a bouncing ball, not knowing where he will go. However, he also mentioned that No Sang Sik is a genuine friend due to his straightforward nature. Ahn Se Ha made efforts to create his own tone for the character of Sang Sik.

King the Land airs every Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 PM KST.
