Koo Ja Sung is confirmed to join the upcoming iHQ drama "Desire"!
It was announced on July 16th that Koo Ja Sung will be one of the main leads of the upcoming thriller romance drama "Desire." He will be working with other cast members namely Lee Ji Hoon, Han Chae Young, and Ji Yi Soo.
"Desire" is set to premiere in the second half of 2021 and it will be the next collaboration work of "It's My Life" director Kwak Gi Won and writer Park Gye Hyung. The drama will also be the first release of channel iHQ.
The upcoming drama will showcase the romance thriller between four men and women who has different desires and goals such as success, revenge, children, and love.
Koo Ja Sung will be playing the role of Hyun Seung Hoon. He is a character who's willing to make difficult choices for success. He was previously a soccer player but due to an injury, he was forced to quit. He now works day and night to make a living for his family.
iHQ and Victory Contents will be producers of the upcoming series. They were also responsible for hit dramas like "What Happened in Bali," "Empress Ki," "Angel's Last Mission: Love," and "River Where the Moon Rises."
"Desire" will be Koo Ja Sung's follow-up project after the 2020 JTBC drama "Was It Love?". He was one of the candidates to be the father of Song Ji Hyo's child in the drama. The actor is also set to star in the upcoming drama "Queen Maker" with Kim Hee Ae, Moon So Ri, and Kwon Yool.
Koo Ja Sung debuted in 2007 through the movie "Milky Way Liberation Front." He only became active in the acting scene starting in 2018.
