SBS confirms the premiere of Heo Joon Ho and Park Hyung Sik's upcoming K-drama "Treasure Island"
Nam Da Reum has officially picked his comeback project.
On September 12, it was officially confirmed that Nam Da Reum will lead the upcoming KBS Drama Special Season 15: The Officer Discusses.
This will be his first acting project since he finished his military enlistment. The actor started his military duties in February 2022 and was officially discharged in August 2023.
The actor also recently signed an exclusive contract with BAA to continue his activities. The CEO of the agency also promised that Nam Da Reum will be active in different kinds of activities not only in Korea but also overseas.
Nam Da Reum was last seen in the 2022 K-drama The Sound of Magic. He made a special appearance in the series. His last official K-drama project was the 2022 series Monstrous.
Drama Special Season 15: The Officer Discusses will be his second time to star in a drama special. In 2018, he also led the tvN Drama Stage Season 2: Goodbye My Life.
Nam Da Reum is best known for being part of the K-dramas The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim, Doom at Your Service, Start-Up, Beautiful World, While You Were Sleeping, Six Flying Dragons, Boys over Flowers, and more.
Drama Special Season 15: The Officer Discusses will depict the story of a crown prince who will do anything to erase history and become the king, and a young officer who will try to prevent him.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of writer Im Eui Jung who is also known for penning the K-drama The Law Cafe led by Lee Seung Gi, Lee Se Young, Oh Dong Min, Kim Nam Hee, Kim Seul Gi, and Ahn Dong Goo.
Drama Special Season 15: The Officer Discusses will exclusively premiere on KBS. It will air within the year.
