"The Secret Romantic Guesthouse" Premiers Kicks Off With Strong Ratings

The new historical K-drama  The Secret Romantic Guesthouse -starring Shin Ye Eun, Ryeoun, Kang Hoon, and Jung Gun Joo in the lead roles - premiered with strong ratings of 4.4% (nationwide) and 4.8% (Seoul). The drama tells the story of the owner and boarders of Ihwawon Inn, who join hands to find someone who disappeared 13 years ago.

The role of the inn's owner Yoon Dan Oh is played by Shin Ye Eun; and Ryeoun, Kang Hoon, and Jung Gun Joo are the guests, each with their own secrets.

Episode 2 of The Secret Romantic Guesthouse will air on March 21 (Tuesday). The K-drama is available to stream on Viki. 

Meanwhile, another historical Monday-Tuesday drama  Our Blooming Youth observed a slight improvement in viewership numbers. The show garnered an average nationwide viewership of 3.78% for its 13th episode, continuing its streak of 3-point ratings. The drama's 12th episode achieved a rating of 3.65%. Our Blooming Youth has seven more episodes left to air. Hopefully, the upcoming episodes will break the streak and get a better response from the domestic audience.

Oasis also did not get much improvement in ratings. The K-drama got an average viewership of 6.5% for its 5th episode, which is in close proximity to its previous episode's rating of 6.4%. Let's hope the drama breaks into double-digit ratings soon.
