The behind-the-scenes still of Kang Ki Young as the evil character Pil Kwang is revealed in tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch, which will be broadcast on the 9th.

The Uncanny Counter Season 2 is a thrilling and sweat-inducing hero story about the counters, demon hunters on the ground, who have become stronger with new abilities and the recruitment of new members, defeating the increasingly evil demons. This season has already captured viewers' hearts with the appearance of demons with powers rivaling the counters.

In this regard, Kang Ki Young undergoes a transformation in his acting as the villainous character Pil Kwang, an embodiment of evil. In the poster behind-the-scenes still released by his agency Namoo Actors, Kang Ki Young's warm charisma, previously shown as lawyer 'Jung Myung Seok' in the previous work Extraordinary Attorney Woo, is now replaced by a gaze filled with nothing but 'evil,' captivating the audience.

With a wholly changed medium-length hairstyle and a sharp suit fit, he transforms not only visually but also perfectly embodies the visual of 'Pil Kwang' from the original webtoon, exuding a chilly and icy expression that sends shivers down the spine, showcasing himself as the 'character transformer.'

Thus, for Kang Ki Young, The Uncanny Counter Season 2 can be seen as a new journey that expands his spectrum. As he previously portrayed lovable and cheerful characters that received much love, such as in Extraordinary Attorney Woo, he now brings anticipation for his performance as a 180-degree different villainous character 'Pil Kwang.'

Having displayed a wide range of acting without regrets, including beloved and cheerful characters, the attention is now on how he will unfold his talents in The Uncanny Counter Season 2.

Meanwhile, Kang Ki Young's starring drama The Uncanny Counter Season 2: Counter Punch will premiere on July 29th at 9:20 PM KST.
