Yoo Ah In is possibly starring in the upcoming movie High Five!
On February 3, reports stated that Yoo Ah In got the offer to star in a new South Korean film titled "High Five".
The actor's agency UAA released a statement after the news, "Yoo Ah In got the casting offer for upcoming film "High Five" and he's positively considering it. Nothing is confirmed yet".
"High Five" is about five ordinary people who obtain superpowers after receiving organ transplants from previously super-powered beings. Because of this, they have to fight against a more sinister group who are only interested in coveting more powers.
The upcoming film will be directed by Kang Hyung Chul who also worked on such films as "Scandal Makers", "Sunny", "Tazza: The Hidden Card", and "Swing Kids". This film will be the director's comeback after three years.
"High Five" aims to film in the second half of the year, after the casting is confirmed.
Aside from "High Five", Yoo Ah In is also in talks to star in the upcoming 2021 film "Seoul Grand Operation". He is currently busy filming for the movie "The Match" with Lee Byung Hun and Moon Jung Hee.
Yoo Ah In will also appear in the Netflix's original series "Hellbound" with Park Jung Min, Kim Hyun Joo and Won Jin Ah. It will air sometime in 2021. This will be his comeback to dramas since 2017. He last starred in the tvN drama "Chicago Typewriter" with Im Soo Jung and Go Kyung Pyo.
The actor has been very active lately. In 2020 he appeared in several movies such as "#Alive" with Park Shin Hye, and "Voice of Silence" with Yoo Jae Myung. He also starred in "Burning", "Like for Likes" and "Veteran".
