    Japanese Movie - 2015

These movies were so good I ended up reading and buying the manga, surprised to find out that they were extremely accurate adaptations. The relationship felt so natural and so pure, my heart still goes out to these dumb boys.

That kiss scene snatched my heart because it was so real. I know it gets ragged on for not being "passionate" and looking half-hearted, but that is legitimately what a first kiss is like. You're awkward and nervous and don't really know what to do with your lips or your hands. And I just like feeling represented, okay. None of that hypersexualized nonsense. Just give me the real stuff. Let these dumb boys be awkward and in love please. They mean so much to me.

  • Neko Zamurai

I watched the movie first before the show and I fell in love. Kyutaro and his adoptive children deserve all the love. <3

  • Neko Samurai 2: A Tropical Adventure

    4. Neko Samurai 2: A Tropical Adventure

    Japanese Movie - 2015

One of these days I will find this movie with subtitles and be able to properly enjoy it.

  • Antique Bakery

    Korean Movie - 2008

I am a simple creature. I see "gay of demonic charm" and I'm there. Kim Jae Wook had my heart ever since I saw him in Coffee Prince, so I had to give this a chance.

Gotta admit I wasn't expecting the slice-of-life Coffee Prince type vibes (found family of pretty boys running a shop together) to turn into a psychological thriller halfway through. It was a bit tricky for me to follow until I watched the anime and got to see more of the details elaborated on.

  • A Werewolf Boy

    6. A Werewolf Boy

    Korean Movie - 2012

    10

The most heartbreaking scene from Air Bud - you know the one - but so much more emotionally devastating. 10/10 had me uncontrollably sobbing my eyes out.
