Krissada repeating the same role 10 years older
Okay, so our pra'ek is now 42, and they made him remake the same old thing with a new girl, who remains 20. Is this sexist or what? LOL. Okay, I get the story is about raising some sort of fosterdaughter... But it's a pitty that if the producers had Nan Krittaporn at their disposal, they didn't think to use her as the lead.I haven't seen the 2009 version, that never got subtitled. So I won't compare. What WAS probably better about it though, was number of episodes was 15 and not TWENTY EIGHT. It's shorter runtime but still. My patience might run off before reaching the good point.
So far, watching Nonny Nutcha's forehead covered with pimples and Krissada's middle aged face is not doing it for me... Apart from these two, there's a large load of side characters (never a good sign) and none of them interests me. Let's see if with time this develops into enjoyable story... or if I drop it.
Epi 8... Scene of nang'ek & pra'ek playing on the beach. They look totally like lovers, lying there together in the sand.. Gah! Then the camera shows us detail of their faces. It's actually some middle-aged uncle with his... niece? Startled me:) Seriously, I'm kinda having trouble watching this. I watch lakorns because I seek out romance, but this couple makes me cringe. And it's only watching them, or 100 people around that are extra. So many I got them confused. So I did not bother. James Ruangsak is better looking and better acting than Krissada but it's not him who got cast as an overly aged pra'ek... Result being, I skipped all the scenes featuring the side-characters. But then I had to watch the main couple and I wanted to skip that, too... Where do I skip TO, here?? Only option, next lakorn.

Ananda Everingham looks more gay than Nadech Kugimiya BEFORE the role requires it
I trust the korean original to be way better as simply korean cinematography is on higher level in general. But that's not it. If we talk about thai series featuring man & woman swapping bodies, I just finished watching 'Leh Lub Salub Rarng', which does have half number of episodes, PLUS does have Nadech & Yaya, and yet it's about 100 times more fun and kick-ass than this.Here we have Ananda (girly name, LOL) Everingham with Fern Pimchanok (she's got dance training plus proven herself in 'Lhong Fai'... but that wasn't a cheerful show to watch) in quite different roles. While Yaya was a typical spoiled princess and Nadech had an occupation that was very manly, here Ananda Everingham's character is shown to be fickle like a woman. Keeps wearing colourful suits and heeled shoes and actually acts like a nervous (closeted) gay. And she, she is a stunt woman. Pretty tough. Therefore, these people should be way better prepared to switch man/woman role than the other two.
The "arrogant CEO" the synopsis depicts is someone owning a shopping mall (in such busy place, it looks kinda ridiculous when the employees stand in a row to greet him in the morning) who dresses like a metrosexual (eccentric, yes) and behaves in such a silly way one wonders all his business didn't yet bankrupt (CEO, hardly). Truth is, in 1st episode I kinda thought he had a woman soul in his body already and that was the reason of his manner. She is unspoiled, works hard for money, and also sad (she lost her father). So down to earth, never showing weakness, never complaining, even in great pain: she could easily pass for a man.
So I thought: if these two switch bodies, what shall actually change? The "CEO" could hardly behave more feminine than this. On the other hand, I was afraid the tough stuntwoman should turn into a crybaby. Their first meeting, he drops her on the hard ground as he is actually more scared of the sound of thunder than she is:) They made him wear sunglasses so she doesn't get startled by the wart right under his eye.
Second episode, he takes those off. She is a brave person, though. So she doesn't run away. He gets acquainted with her (actually treats her pretty much like a horse) and he's such a weirdo that at least he isn't boring. But there is a work boss and trainer of Vina (portrayed by Dew Seksun, not a good fit for the role) who has long term feelings for her and isn't enjoying another, strange guy getting close to her... And I could relate. On the other hand, when Vina & "CEO" started flirting and even went on sort of a date, it was puzzling. Considering him being so ostentatiously gay. Apart from knowing beforehand that these two were going to swap bodies, I had no idea what kind of plot the scriptwriters were going for, here.
Episodes 4-5 got completely confusing for me and I no longer knew what to expect. They were full of him making a fuss (bordering on bullying) over how she dressed, that it made him look bad and... unappropriate. Yes she was poor, but extremely beautiful. Her georgeous hair looked like from a salon anyways. It in fact didn't MATTER however she dressed, in case like hers. I got completely lost. When are they going to swap bodies? It's been FIVE episodes already. Is he going to make a point that when HE is a woman, he's going to dress better or what? What a "drama" plot. Anyways him acting like a clinic psycho didn't help anything. I asked myself what am I actually watching. I might not know the korean original, but just because of that it shouldn't be THIS confusing...
He's all over her next epi (did he turn straight? he's still wearing his shiny top with sequins). There's a scene with them sitting on the fence... Him sitting like a woman... Did I miss something, here? Maybe the point of this show is they DID switch bodies already, and the audience is to guess since when? Then I guess episode 1. Then it all would make sense. On this occasion, I could mention one thing about what kind of a viewer I am: Generally all I am honestly interested in is watching simple good romance series. Yet I keep coming across weird (and weirder) stuff.
Then episode 7 looks like they are reacting to being switched for the first time. Still I thought Ananda Everingham was overplaying it, as the stuntwoman didn't act all girly-girly like that. It was HIM who acted that way. What a mess! Basically they both behaved the same like before the exchange, MEANING they were not behaving the same. Oh, god. They should have re-shooted the whole beginning with them being really girly girl and manly guy else it doesn't make sense them acting like that later. Ananda Everingham doing loads of girly mannerism THE girl DIDN'T do, was annoying to watch AND had no sense! I just didn't accept what happened, that Vina was not Vina, now. She acted the same! SHE never acted like Ananda Everingham was now portraying.
Nevertheless. In episode 7, there starts really embarassing stuff. I mean I watched series about guy & girl switching bodies before, but some things were never discussed. Here, after several minutes they both need to use a BATHROOM. Now he/she starts freaking out she'll have to touch "his thing", LOL. A thing like that was never said loud in 'Leh Lub Salub Rarng'. It would be funny THERE. But, this show? Why was the guy acting like a girl since episode 1, if they only switched in 7th? Why was the girl acting so manly? Did they know properly what they were shooting? The whole cast was so unfitting to the roles and so weird. Secondary characters all b-grade "actors" like Chin Chinawut or Pie Pimpatchara... After first epi, I skipped all their scenes. Now at the 7th epi with even the mains being unwatchable, I debated whether I should quit this entirely. What's the point of this series?
If Ananda Everingham wanted to showcase he can act totally like a girl, he should have waited with it till the 7th episode.
And Fern Pimchanok looks all flirty-flirty right after the exchange. Even if the guy wanted to flirt with the girl before, would you flirt with someone wearing YOUR FACE? Was he in love with himself actually, or what? It was DAY 1, they couldn't get used to it, yet. I'm seriously not sure how long I can withstand watching this. Ananda Everingham LOOKS MORE GAY THAN Nadech Kugimiya. Never have I ever thought I would write something like this! And I never thought that I write this but now perhaps I can understand how homophobic people feel? They're afraid to look like Ananda Everingham in THIS series. LOL.
Fern Pimchanok is hot and looks absolutely georgeous. I would love to watch her in any regular boring role more than in this. Also I would love to watch her with anyone else than stupid looking Ananda Everingham, trying to make "girl" faces.
The reason I never watched korean 'Secret Garden', is that with korean dramas, I always read the synopsis first. And if it contains anything that doesn't interest me (like a guy & girl switching bodies) I never even attempt to watch it. But I watch every single available & subtitled thai series. Even if I should drop it after 1 episode:) So that's how I got into situation like this, I now understand the korean original was probably good despite the theme but this series definitely won't be the same case. But speaking about it, I've come across several attempts to make thai version of known foreign series already and I'm starting to think that perhaps thai tv should avoid this, to not bring the unflattering comparison. Let thai lakorns concentrate on thai culture and its original quirks and be - despite different level of cinematography - enchanting in their own right. Making 'O.C. Thai', 'Full House Thai', 'Goong Thai', 'My Girl Thai', 'Secret Garden Thai'... probably isn't SMART.
Dropped during 8th episode... It's not funny and watching the wart eye girl-man puts me off.

First episode introduces us to everyone. There are some "pretty boys" that look almost korean. One boy I remember from '2 Moons'. One boy I remember from 'So Wayree' I just dropped (which is probably why I still remember him:) They all wear the hotel uniforms that look very much like school uniforms but the group doesn't look like the same class year: some boys look teenage, some in their thirties. There are 2 girls in the group, each dutifully representing one female stereotype. As for the training teachers, the head chef doesn't look mature enough. The head housekeeper DOES look like a chef, but not as someone doing labour work. The head receptionist is someone with boobs, hair and makeup, but you can tell it's a man, actually. To say all this in 1 clear sentence: From my watcher of dramas point of view - no matter the "sb5" thing (which someone explained to me in the comments) - the cast is pretty much a disaster.
We also can see the hotel reception. It doesn't look it is a 5 star hotel. Which is another letdown...
Next episodes, I haven't developed interest in any of the characters. I find some of them VERY annoying, though. An EXTREMELY adorable romance line must start SOON or I'm not sure how many more episodes I am going to withstand.
Epi 4: Nothing as such as likeable romance line and nothing as such as ANY story line has begun (instead, we watch things like one of the workers talking about ghost haunting their PREVIOUS place of work). So, I'm (not) sorry. The cast is either grossly unsuited to their roles, unattractive, or at least wearing moron haircut (their heads remind me of a giant mushrooms) so I'm afraid I won't watch any of these "stars" for 8 more episodes (thanks but no thanks).

My rating is solely based on "True Love vs. Desire", 4-episodes only. (Also called The Story of Niti Reu Ruk Ta Ja Pa Kwarm Dtong Gaan / Or Is True Love Defeated By Desire).I would watch anything with Rotmay, I love her. In my eyes she is not as boring as her roles the producers mostly type-cast her. So far I truly enjoyed her role in Club Friday season 5, only... This season, she stars as yet another "boring old flame" while Cris Horwang️ is supposed to be the "new exciting flame". All this for Oil Thana, whom I remember as a pra'ek from lakorns decade and half ago. Understandably he already looks a bit tired here. But we're at Club Friday, where you don't need to be pra'ek/nang'ek material. Anyone can call there and fill our ears with whatever happened in their lives (or in their fantasy). That's what so good, and bad about this show.
So, what's the "great story" this time? Our leading guy comes at some lecture while the new woman comes in pink mini-dress, looking actually a bit embarrasing but for our middle-aged (and already taken) hero, she was able to make his day. She already has someone, too. I am a sucker for romance, but I never enjoyed love triangles, quadrangles... etc. No matter how often they are used in romance.
The problem with "reality-based" stories (while we all know that even those are not really real:) is they don't need to fulfill the proper drama arch, proper ending, happy ending, etc... Which may be a good thing, ocasionally. Often it is bad. As I for one like good story development, most of the cases also dislike "open ending" as unsatisfying, the same for not the happy one. That's why despite all its flaws the "Secret of Classroom 6/3" is so special to me: it has romance, humour, Rotmay, AND happy ending!:) But let's face it, most of Club Friday is not like that. As a romance viewer, you can't expect a "full lakorn package". It's a random roulette chance: you might get something little, great, or nothing. 4 episodes is not many.
So. At the beginning, it is shown how the two "new flames" get together (she in some trashy mini-dress:), feel excited again and converse profoundly in front of some painting. Their long-time partners (those, with whom they had their "happy ending" years ago... and then the life went on), on the other hand, are shown as nagging. They represent the mundane problems and annoyances. When both counterparts of the "new couple" get home from the exciting date, they each have somewhat unpleasant conversation with them. But that is to be expected when you live with someone for a long time. Life is short? No. Life is long.
Life is unavoidable: just a couple of years of living with your beloved, and all the excitement is gone. And it's nobody's fault. There comes your true love vs. desire dilemma.
There is a lot of poignant music, as the plain story tries to impress the viewers. There is hardly anything really entertaining (kisses are also fake). Nevertheless, it is about real pain. Soon the old partners know and suffer. The female one is desperate to the point to beg, thinking there was something lacking in her, to make the loved one leave. She is suffering so much it is cruel. Male one takes the re-possession road, deciding he will just take his woman abroad with him. When she protests, coming to her new lover, he is no longer interested. She cost him too big a bloodbath. He cannot just shake-off the old love clinging to him, without feeling.... evil. But even he remains with her, the charm is gone. She doesn't know how to be the warm comfy home & exciting new lover in 1 person... forever. By the 4th episode I'm tired of watching, while the heart-wrenching music goes on. Nevertheles Niti, the main character, changes his mind again. So much guilt and pain is there in the old relationship, that it is a relief to leave it for a new one. But that's still not the end... What now, the new woman also cannot be seducing siren & warm home keeper all in one?
See? "Life stories" are just not enjoyable. I say it all the time. We watch the fiction for a reason. Some viewers still seek the tag "based on true story" in hope of seeing something more "sophisticated", or "worthy". Mostly those are altered from the real reality anyways, to be at least a bit enjoyable... Which brings me back to where I started.

But, the script was questionable. It was clear by episode 5 the main guy needed to tell the truth to Mookda's main heroine. It was clear she would not stand for it. And if the petite girl managed to kill some of the badguys then at least it would be satisfying. Episodes are long and frustrating. We want to see all them awful badguys punished but instead, we need to spend an awful lot of screentime with them. And then we get to watch some flesh-eating ghosts? Was this not black enough even without black magic? So, let's make it ridiculous. Great. I was annoyed with most of the cast. I needed the heroine to escape her situation where she was living among the villain gang. The main leader the father, and the other son were both terrible and bad actors. It was either watching them committing gross violence or doing long speeches (THAT was worse). Michael Pattaradet was not worth all this. So what if she got an happy end with him after 11 more long episodes filled with MORE stupid "crime" & "magic"? Even if one of them DIED, then at least it would all ended sooner.
Because it did not look like the main girl would be able to escape soon, I did escape and quit watching.

When you wish to fastforward during a 17-minute episode...Then that says a lot.

Okay, seriously now. The 1st episode of this "drama" still looked like they were keeping up appearances. It looked explosive, it looked like it had something serious to say. Looks are deceiving.
Speaking of looks... I don't like the main boy. He looks feminine.
After the seemingly promising beginning, this show failed to deliver any actual... well, drama. What it did deliver was showing young people, who, as one fellow MDL member was able to put aptly, were "Expressionless twenty somethings moving and talking slowly"... There's really no other way to put it. The process of watching them went from quite boring to almost comatose, in the end I started to feel that I would prefer even if something violent happened to them, LOL.
And who needs super-controlling mother in the age of social media where privacy is non existent anyways? The mother feels obsolete and like from another era now, when all the twenty year olds themselves post every insignificant detail of their lives (which should be boring for THEM, let alone the audience) and the kids have no privacy to begin with.
Then, we don't really deal with this "drama" even, because we have most of the episode screentime dedicated to visiting one shop or other and buying an item which is then "subtly" advertised during the end credits...
This show might be called TWENTY-TWENTY, nevertheless I did not manage to watch it TWENTY times. After 13 episodes, which were super long despite being short, I didn't feel like watching 1 single minute nore of this vague sequence of video which failed to form a proper drama to be recognized as such by me.

The second couple is more attractive
I was pleased to see Praew Chermawi. Great Sapol is okay too, I suppose... But Bank Artit? Don't stretch it. I would have it if the second couple would rather be the main. And if this was rather a comedy. NOT interested in the obligatory plot about family members who are practically criminals and muder your parents and do anything to steal all your money... Oh no, not another hysterics of Gookgiik Kochakorn... I watched enough of her in previous lakorns. This is like really OLD thing remade "new" with a few veteran actors who must be bored to death by now. I know I am. And this Pinkploy Paparwadi? She's all groomed like she's a supermodel, but her face... Who ever thought her a nang'ek material is beyond me. Switch her with Praew Chermawi! Even thirty, lol.I'm afraid I can't bring myself to care about the main story. Praew Chermawi would need to have WAY MORE screentime. If she'll continue having 1 scene for each episode I'll either drop this series or finish it real quick, lol.

Episode 5: There's no scene with Praew Chermawi. Great Sapol has a scene where he finds his mother tied down & with gagged mouth. Okay, enough. I won't watch any more "criminal" cr*p, that's always sign of idiocy in lakorn.
Ending credits song is nice, best thing about this lakorn.

Also, her double role doesn't last long. Two identical women, one is rich, one is poor, but since episode 2 the rich is out of the picture. The poor is offered to pose as her. That includes to be engaged to the psycho who is about the last guy I would ship her with. Maybe even the shady older guy who made her the offer...? No, also a psycho. Some events are like from parody/comedy. Certainly not "psychological thriller"... lol. Seriously, what did I start watching? It has a high MDL rating but that is NOT a good sign, either (sorry). Definitely, this is weird. What a colossal missuse of Soo Ae. Surely I am not going to drop a drama with HER in the lead? But by episode 3, I was close to it.
Episode 4, I still weighed the pros and cons. I love watching Park Soo Ae. I liked her heroine, who was forced to watch her family mourning her at her own funeral. Who was told that as long as she played her new role well, they will be all well cared for. Had she not have beloved family that struggled, the drama would be pointless. The guy portrayed by Yeon Jung Hoon was alright too, he had the right amount of coldness and manipulativeness. Who was not alright, was the "main" guy. I couldn't stand him and he was not even attractive. Will I watch a couple where I love the girl but hate the guy? It's TWENTY episodes...
Since episode 4, main heroine starts living with the main guy in the same room (she has to sleep on the sofa), but luckilly, she is so preocupied with her own drama that she more or less ignores him. He makes a big scene about every detail (as he has some obsessive-compulsive disorder among everything else) and I liked how calm she was in her reactions. Yeah, she had other things to worry. There are more people in the rich house, who each have their problem with the new daughter-in-law, but I honestly did not care for those. I found all the support cast annoying. Basically, I liked only one person and disliked everything that surrounded her.
At one point, she leaves from very important meeting (important for every other character but hers) and drives off in a car. Some of the characters are pursuing her. I did not want them to catch her. I felt this was symbolical, and I realized. I just wanted Soo Ae to drive, drive very far, from this all and leave this whole show. Yes, I wish to watch Soo Ae, but in some different series.

Seeing first episode, I can tell Atichart's acting has NOT improved. He MUST portray the quiet gentle type (Namtan Mai) any other case was a disaster (Jam Loey Rak, Badarn Jai, Botan Gleep Sudtai, Borisut Bumbut Kaen, Maya Tawan, Fai Nai Wayu... Plerng Chimplee) as god forbid, a role that requires him as much as raise his voice is not what he can handle (with grace). First episode did NOT look good. Atichart's in yet another "psycho" role. I AM used to that in thai revenge lakorn, but producers need to finally understand they can't cast this actor in this type. Now, what else this show has to offer?
Deaw Suriyon in cop uniform. Hmmm... Aom Sushar, 28 years old, in a side-role. Peach Pachara from 'Hormones'! My, who's HE got paired with? Not Aom? Why didn't they switch HER in the nang'ek role? At least Atichart would be less creepy with someone closer his age. I really can't understand people who decide casting for lakorns. Lately I've seen some weird pairings.
Since episode one, more than one thing in this lakorn was giving me the creeps. First, Atichart, obviously. Not only he again portrays character who is mentally ill, he even has a psycho hairstyle. Whenever he gets closer to nang'ek he's giving me the creeps. Chippy Sirin isn't exactly a beauty. Her face is a bit like a boy's. She is very active in fighting the psycho pra'ek. I'm not sure that's a plus. Aom Sushar's "old maid" character gets pestered by Peach Pachara's annoying whippersnapper. Let's just say that when he was portraying a teenager in 'Hormones', he seemed more mature. That painfully underlines their couple's age gap. It's not cute, it's creepy again.
I hate when lakorn's atmosphere gets too dark, luckilly that's prevented by the kid, and several employees on the farm.
The way Atichart's character is acting in front of the kid can't be described as smart. It only scares the kid away from him and gives more cards in nang'ek's hands. But then she acts even more stupid. I guess it must be some "brilliant" writer's work. Else the two would NOT have to spend this much time in each other's company:)
Pra'ek keeps acting like in his life, since he was in kindergarten, he's never sorted out basics of human behavior. Keeps having violent outbursts, his ex-girlfriend (whom he keeps stalking) avoids him in fear. Then he cries. Basically he's acting like an angry toddler with man's strength. Lashes out on nang'ek, too. Keeps asking her why is she afraid of him? LOL. As he's attacking her while crying, she attacks back (smashes his head with a flower vase:) but then she comes back with first aid kit:) Seriously, it's not her responsibility to tend to a man grown up to this age (Atichart IS 35 here, I don't know what age are we supposed to believe his character is, but well he doesn't look fifteen) who first needs a psychologist to help where mommy failed to teach the basics of self control. She doesn't need to become his nurse/punchbag THERAPIST. But obviously that's what she'll need to become, for this lakorn's main relationship to progress. She'll need to care about him tremendously to bother (as he won't be a nice patient) and the two characters are not in that kind of situation. I understand the writers intention to show how great the nang'ek love is in this lakorn, yet it simply doesn't look very admirable Atichart having to receive help from girl in her twenties.
However silly this "couple"'s antics, it all travels a different level if a child has to witness it. Unlike the pra'ek, the boy IS still of age where he's got the right to act out, especially seeing some abusive behavior towards his aunt. Yet often he acts more sensible. I wonder how come the writers failed to realize this. Or at least they should have some kind of a line to not cross when they involve small children. They often show us flashbacks of a pra'ek as a little boy, to make the audience understand where he is coming from. Only it's grossly inconsistent with how they deal with the child they have in the present timeline.
Then, young girl arrives on the scene saying she's Pu's girlfriend (sorry, I refuse to call him Poo, like they do in "fansubs"). It is shown that his attachment to her is only a pitty. Well, at least we know the pra'ek is capable to pitty someone. Else her character is obviously only here to annoy nang'ek & pra'ek both. Which subsequently means to annoy the viewer.
Now, on the top of all the annoyance the viewer shall find out all the kisses here are fake? Maybe production should care less about the personal life of the actors (from my point of view, I don't care whether they're single, dating someone else, dating each other, happily married with ten kids, divorced, gay or celibate... they are there to provide me with the romance, else they don't deserve to get paid) and finally realize shooting yet another "rape" or "abusive" lakorn when filming a simple kiss is a problem might be pointless, as most people won't bother watching.
Episode 4 shows the first "molesting attempt" scene, and it looks more ridiculous than anything else. Combined with Atichart's level of "acting" for this type of role, I am at verge of dropping this... At 4/14.
Episode 5... I'm afraid I won't finish it, let alone the whole lakorn. Pra'ek is 35-year old acting like annoying 5-year old, portrayed by a gross looking guy who cannot act. Girl isn't even pretty. Real 5-year old cries all the time. Rest of the time is filled with yet more unsufferable yelling and "sexual assaults" of two people who cannot kiss. Does all this sounds like enjoyable watch, or a punishment you'd make watch your enemy? You be the judge, LOL. I'm quitting... I take it as my pride I did not finish this:)

Extremely weird and obviously differing with the manga
This show opening starts with a picture from the manga, which clearly portrays people of completely different looks and BEHAVIOR than the cast of this live action. It's a huge contrast. And during the ending credits of each episode, we can see how the scenes were pictured in the manga. Somehow it looks MASSIVELY different. It gives you completely different vibe. So, maybe 'Coffe & Vanilla' was cute & hot as the manga, but it looks somehow lame & creepy with real actors. It happens...Unfortunatelly, this seems rather extreme case of it, when the mismatched content, mismatched cast and too short a runtime completed the product that's close to a parody in terms of how absurd it all comes across. My detailed experience follows. But I dropped it halfway. Some viewers praised the skinship scenes that kept them going, but problem is... This couple is in bed all the time, but you're not EXCITED.
Okay, manga aside, what we watch in the beginning is: The female lead of this drama is a pretty girl who reject all guys for no reason, and who is shy and insecure in any situation. Despite getting up every morning and dressing up to be a pretty girl, and despite that nothing stops her from gradually gaining experience in whatever, if she only wanted to.
While rejecting one of the guys asking her out, she meets another guy, who "helps" her to get her rid of the first guy, then smoothly asks her out himself. He takes her to a suspiciously expensive restaurant and lets her drink one sip of wine after which she falls unconscious. It looked like she met some kind of a crook, to be honest, LOL. But, she finds out he didn't do anything with her when she wakes up next morning at his place. He just politely asks her to date him, lol. He claims that he fell in love with her at first sight, and they have their fist kiss. It really is a "Fast Paced Romance" to say the least. They are complete strangers. We hear the girl's inner thoughts, excited about finally experiencing love she knows from all the dramas and mangas. We don't hear the guy's thoughts. Goodness gracious.
We move onto bed scene right in episode 1. You know, it's not without fun, to just watch empty-headed people getting it on... I wouldn't exactly call it "romance", but it's certainly not wasting time on bulls**t, lol. Just, when he opened the night with saying: "Let me be your first and your last man.", I briefly wondered whether he planned to kill her, LOL. Maybe, the comparison to 'Twilight' one fellow review here made was not so far fetched? That also had a girl suddenly falling in love with a strange boy desperate-fangirl-style for absolutely no reason, apart from him being "beautiful". But at least there were the ridiculous fantasy elements. There's no one at least having their skin sparkling in the sunlight, here. There's literally nothing here, in the small runtime, but the couple.
Moving onto episode 2... It really does remind me of 'Twilight' now (yeah, cannot get that comparison out of my head, "thank you", other reviews!) with the main guy being all keen to know every single detail about main girl's life and all her little likes and dislikes, despite her being UTTERLY uninteresting. Yet we keep listening to her inner commentary. At one point she wonders: "Can he read minds?" Now, can you tell me NOT to think of 'Twilight':-) Also as soon as episode 2, he gives her a ring. He IS super possessive & jealous since day 1, check. He keeps saying he needs to treasure her. Overall, he acts like she is the only pretty girl he is allowed to date till he dies. Also, other boy shows interest in the main girl, and I would actually prefer him... Yeah, I would prefer the main girl to live normal life, instead of jumping into a weirdly fast relationship with... also weird guy, if you ask me.
Main guy speed-attacks the main girl into dating like in some kind of a women fantasy, but it's weird to watch it happening live action. Nobody acts normally, here. Like, the other boy who also likes the main girl. She introduces him an attractive, rich guy as her boyfriend and tells him that she loves only him. I think this is a situation where person gives up, and it's understandable. His reaction is he that states he still won't give up on her. Who does that? It's like we KNOW we don't watch real people. In the ending credits, we can see how the scenes were pictured in the manga... And it's SO different. Like I mentioned above in my opening paragraph.
Episode 3... The other boy is all over the main girl. Something nasty in me wishes that she'd go for him. Let her cheat on the main guy! I'm bored with him already, LOL. Such a creep. Okay, it's then revealed that ML actually met FL a bit while back, and started liking her BEFORE the 1st episode encounter. It makes things a BIT better, though I still did not warm up to him. FL is thinking: "I can't believe that he loves me this much!" with a happy smile all across her face. I admit I was thinking exactly the same thing, LOL. Just not smiling the same way. Then, another guy is introduced... He is shown smoking a big cirarette and blows the smoke right into FL's innocent face, so that all the viewers know that he is a BAD boy, lolz. It's like in 'Vampire Diaries' (to put yet another vampire reference in:) when Damon gets introduced. Then, after like 30 seconds, his scene is over, LOL. Maybe, this show could pass as a Parody? Then, it IS funny;-) ML then delivers plenty of beautiful clothes and shoes for FL to choose from - a classic cinderella moment, he even calls her "my Cinderella" - so that the women-fantasy line is kept going on, no matter how dated and pathetic it is, then when she's wearing red dress and standing in red light (for it not to be exaggerated:) they share a hot moment which made me think of all the j-drama couples I would enjoy having a scene like this. Just about any other couple but this one, sadly.
Epi 4: ML's weird brother (still, actually less weird than ML himself) managed to kiss FL forcefully, so ML states he needs to make her forget that. So, yet more make-out scenes occur. My, why this was NEVER there with couples I did ship, lol. Put these scenes into any proper j-drama, and I'll say thank you. But do not create some weird 25-minute collage of them with "characters" no one cares about!
Epi 5: ML's brother is all over FL, trying to seduce her. I don't care for him, yet I almost love him for usurping some of the screentime. I do prefer scenes where ML is absent. FL is massively boring. So much that ML's brother's awkward attempts to shake things up are actually an improvement. Whenever there's only a half of the boring/creepy main couple onscreen, it's a plus. So, I'm all for inviting more and more side-characters into this show, so that we won't have to watch the mains all the time. Sadly, ML reappears after 1/3 of the episode runtime or so. Still, BETTER than having him there ALL the time. Then FL is joined by her female friend... she is also interested in ML. Pitty she can't steal ML and drag him somewhere far. I could bear watching FL - despite her empty personality she IS very pretty - with someone else. I've grown to hate ML both inside and out. I cannot withstand watching FL & ML both. Someone, PLEASE split this couple, LOL.
Epi 6: FL's "friend" asks her to allow her one date with ML. FL agrees, unfortunatelly she also goes on the date so we have to watch it. From my point of view, I didn't mind FL's suffering, it was still less boring to watch than if the date was just ML & FL alone. ML obviously agreed because he wanted to teach FL a life lesson, which I agreed she needed, I just didn't care. Soon main couple is in bed again, and he teaches her some stuff there. Best part of which is, he mentions he'a about to go abroad. That got my hopes up. Shall he be absent for some screen time? Perhaps even whole episode or two? That would be great. He then leaves, and FL is surrounded by both the secondary males, her female friend, plus she meets (yet another) psycho. I now realize I'm not interested in this "drama" WHATEVER is happening. So, nothing against the manga, perhaps that's fun but this, I don't need to watch it all.

Jean Gaewalin is 26 here. Her character is supposed to be "special" woman for the aging playboy. Not that she behaves unlike everyone else. Then after one still kiss with eyes open, she is hooked: it was her first kiss, because she spent all her previous life watching korean series, apparently.
First few episodes, we watch Film's character trying to keep it going with 3 girlfriends at the same time, putting lot of time, effort and financials in. Not to mention energy (he looks positively exhausted at times). Girlfriend number 3 is supposed to be Jean Gaewalin's character, of course. He is currently just courting her, but already counting her in:)
I felt tired with this after first 5 episodes. I just don't like Film in a comedy. He started aging already and there's no way he'd interest me as a pra'ek if it's not made really romantic. Him fooling around like a bufoon cannot make him attractive. Also for Jean Gaewalin it's a pitty they cast her in so many crazy comedies. She makes georgeous nang'ek.

Every time a lakorn seems to be not quite my cup of coffee and I would wish for it to just pass quickly and rather show me the best it has to offer sooner than later, it has TWENTY SIX episodes, lol.
So, the main girl is an aspiring actress, who does nothing else but go to castings. Unfortunatelly, she really can't act. Nevertheless, she doesn't think it a problem and keeps going on castings, never getting any part (though some casting agents remember her already). She lost her house which has been sold to the guy portrayed by Putt Putichai. She thinks it's not a problem for her to keep living there, as the guy mainly keeps on ground floor. Therefore, she stays on the first floor, sneaking in and out and hiding her things. Whenever the guy hears or sees something he considers the house haunted and her a ghost. It's silly but it's funny because though he's not my type Putt Putichai can act it, unfortunatelly the lead girl isn't so funny because the actress is not very good one, just similarly to her portrayed character. She's also got Tao Sattaphong wanting to be her boyfriend but she brushes him off. Clearly something with her eyesight, too.
She appears on his posh birthday party dressed as a clown with a banana sticking to her head. It's funny towards his stuck up parents else it's unexplicable why he keeps pursuing her. I'm on a verge of dropping this series but someone said it's really different after first 6 episodes. I'll try to wait it out but it's really loong. It's supposed to be better than 'Waen Dok Mai', but it's not.
I like the house, it looks pirotesque. But that's the only thing I like in this series;)
I watched episode 7, as that was supposed to be better. The only thing I could relate is I would really not wish to share house with either the Gypso Ariigantha's character or Putt Putichai. Just watching, both were strongly getting on my nerves. Tao Sattaphong is attractive as always, the way he can look with those eyes of his. But he's got only the 9 years older Woonsen to look at. Could he just walk off to some other series? I would sure follow him. Ugh... Yet another scene with Putt & Gypso. There was definitely too many of them.
It's hard to watch a series where I wish to skip scenes of the main characters.

This is Channel 7, it has 15 episodes though and not 30. Very good, then. First episode didn't get much of my interest. Nao Tisanart is less baby doll here and has more expression than when I last saw her. Kem Hussawee though, seems the same. Not my type of a pra'ek. During first episode, only thing nang'ek tries to do is get rid of him and I could relate:)
There seem to be an excess of action scenes and gunfight which doesn't interest me to see in lakorns and doesn't go along with the type of a guy who has face like Kem Hussawi.
Overall, this didn't catch my interest.

These two start interacting in episode 3. Aom Piyada is Jes Jespipat's mother in this, and goes even more psychopatic than in the mentioned 'Artid Ching Duang'. She almost kills Vill Wannarot's main girl some early episode like 5th, but it passes on more or less like nothing happened. To be honest, I did not want to watch 27 episodes of this. Vill & Jes might have dated in reality but their onscreen connection is nothing much. Not into the half-psychopatic middle aged couple, either... What else is there? Point Cholawit flirts heavily with Janis Janistar, but is that enough?
This is so clearly not my kind of lakorn, lol. Whenever Vill Wannarot's nang'ek finds herself alone on a romantic looking beach, it's not the pra'ek, but the psychopatic middle aged harpy portrayed by Aom Piyada, who finds her there. Vill & Jes's scenes, as meek as they tend to be, take very small percentage of the screentime. As soon as episode 7/27, I was already massively bored and particularly disenterested in the whole plot involving Attempted Murder, Hidden Identity, Birth Secret, Evil Stepmother, Step-siblings Love, Murder and Amnesia. Which seems like a bad parody, but actually is only a listing of this show's Tags (VERY useful tool on MDL, helps me avoid a lot of cr*p:) I had LOADS of thai lakorns already downloaded on my drive, which was the only reason why I even attempted this.
