Sorry. After watching 'Khaen Rak Salap Chata', I admit that Alek Teeradetch can act. But I'm afraid it's also important what he has to act AT. And I'm afraid that even fantasy themes like body swapping once at every red moon are more credible than crime themes. These are just more stupid than anything else. We watch cartoon-ish badguy cozying around a pool with multiple pretty girls who don't get disturbed even when people start being exectued a few feet away from them. His favorite past-time since the main guy's childhood is to make him shoot people with a gun, in order to have at least some others spared. He calls himself his "dad" and also Nick Reeves, which is a name he can't even pronounce. As asian drama viewer, all these are things I'm quite allergic to. Sorry.

But I wasn't buying the "big drama", I found it ridiculous (less is more, sorry) and the key plot drama scene by the pool, with the daddy shooting at a woman, at children, basically everyone with only the main guy trying to stop him - while pretty girls are sitting right next to it looking bored/amused - basically everyone untill he makes the main guy to take the gun too, as if it would then make that much of a difference. Is this what he's supposed to be so condemning himself for? For the whole series? And his girl is supposed to be Patricia Tanchanok Good? Rather girlie. He's thirty.

I find her too immature for a nang'ek o this kind. Why don't they ever cast her into something lighter, more fitting her age and acting skill? I don't particularly wish to watch her with Alek. And looking at the series' progress, it looks like we won't get rid off the crime themes. Ugh... I'm afraid I'm not interested...

Note: First nang'ek - pra'ek meeting is like a parody. Alek looks like he's seeing a ghost (should I withdraw my statement that he CAN act?:D) she looks like a nerdy kid, then she of course has to trip over a carpet and end up in his arms, looking so embarrassing like they're doing sit-com. Then there's
Deaw Suriyon in "glamorous" suit, also calling himself mr. Reeves... I mean... Seriously. Do a comedy. Then the audience would laugh just as much, but to your credit!

Okay, main couple is portrayed by Esther Supreeleela & Putt Putichai. I admit, this was not my eye candy. Esther & Push are precisely what is not my type, both male & female. That's just talking their physical appearance, though. As characters, pra'ek is the throughout good man, you could call him Mr. Nice Guy. He is really kind to everyone and never starts any conflicts. Even when someone seeks conflict with him, he does not reciprocate. He really couldn't be nicer if he tried. Nang'ek is nice, too. She is rich, daughter of his boss, in fact. Only I saw no need for Esther to play princess (she looks a lot like a boy), when they had Gypsy Keerati!! Oh, well.

There IS an attractive guy in this, but of course, only as support. Nat Devahastin does not fear steamy scenes:) Unfortunatelly, Mr. Hotness is not there for the main romance line, only serves as antagonist. Oh, sigh.

There is also investigative line of a crime occuring in nang'ek's dad's cloth factory. And I did not care for it. Because I honestly did not care for the main couple portrayed by Push & Esther. But, had they at least put together Nat Devahastin & Gypsy Keerati as a hot second couple, then I would have kept watching, even if more or less ignoring the main couple, lol. But, both Nat Devahastin & Gypsy Keerati's characters were way more invested in being jealous/plot against the main two, than to have their own life. So I didn't find it worth watching.

Interestingly themed drama... But what's up with the cast? If I'm not anxious to watch more of someone, then it's Non Chanon and Marina Sadanun (suffered enough with their previous roles). The only positive thing for Non Chanon, trying to look like a rapper (heh), would be to at least finally get a proper haircut. That could only do good to his overly feminine face, but no. And him wearing couple of braids (seriously) ponytailed on the top of his head, that "surprisingly" did not make him look cool, lol. Same with Marina Sadanun. That girl should be awarded a title of Miss Bland: there hardly was ever anything even remotely rememberable about her except it's repeated everywhere that she's a sister of one other actress (Margie), which after all is not important to me as a viewer. But I guess they need to repeat it because she doesn't resemble her at all and because there's nothing interesting about HER. When I watched her in opening credits, trying to move around and make "rap" gestures, I had to smirk.

First episode (it's 49 mins only) shows us little about the characters. There's the main rapper who looks lame (as he's portrayed by Non Chanon) but hates his dad so at least he's got something to rap about, his friend there just likes to chill but he is tense about becoming someone... Then there's schoolboy being bullied, but liking a girl who likes him back, but as a friend only... She wants to become famous, if he wants to hang out with her in the future, he'll have to become famous, too. This MIGHT work had the schoolboy actually be the younger version of the main rapper, at first I thought we were watching his past flashbacks which would explain his intense need to become famous, but no. So, we just watched a bundle of characters doing this and that. So far no major story.

I might give this a chance to see how it will develop in later episodes but I don't like the cast. And to continue a series, EITHER story or cast must engage me. Nearing the end of the episode Marina Sadanun started singing and I was like: Okay, enough NOW, lol.

Entering middle age burdened by dated tropes from old lakorns era...

Okay, two women who are like 36 or 37 - so they both are like older than the stereotypes they STILL portray, and also older than their man, lol - would give us big fighting scene the first minute this "new" lakorn begins? I said in one review already that physical fighting belongs to school dramas tops, LOL. Apparently thai writers don't think so. Also, producers are still willing to cast actresses who ceased to be an eye candy AND did not update the childish demeanor from previous decades? Is this supposed to please the aging female audience into believing that flashy dress & makeup PLUS acting like harpy would miraculously make you an object of fiery passion of attractive guys who are good cuple of years younger?

Alright. Let's say I'll pretend I haven't noticed the leading ladies beauty a bit faded, lol. "Rita Sririta" was never good actress. Her old lakorns were pretty much unwatchable, even when she was young. Which she is not anymore, the super short skirts notwithstanding. Jooy Warattaya Nilkuha used to be charming, used to be decent actress. She's still good, only she's a bit past her blossom. Now. Their two characters are half sisters, they have the same father. They pretty much hate each other. As I am not a fan of a henhouse type of "drama", I didn't care much for the reason, whenever they were acting hysterical, I was like: Huh, whatever is their deal? Why can't each just live her own life? I want to concentrate on the romance lines as usual. Can I, in this show?

The Tags here lists "Rape, Sexual Assault, Infidelity, Love Square, Revenge, Forced Marriage"? Doesn't look like my kind of fun... The two guys are not interesting enough, not old enough, in short not compatible with the ladies. Neither of them looks like they would be into older women. Even if so, "Older Woman/Younger Man" trope usually doesn't have "Rape". I suspect this is some kind of middle-aged-fantasy crazy writer. I had enough after episode 1.

The disaster of the cast

Nut Devahastin as a wife-beater? Great, just great. I've been complaining about the kind of roles he's been getting for quite some time. Thought it couldn't be any worse!

Then there's Koy Rachwin, despite the age still more beautiful than Mew Nittha. Her romance line with Prin Suparat's character starts intriguing, if he really loved her and kept fighting for her, it would probably make a better watch.

But no, we are to have the childish-bickering kind of main couple, here. They get married, but we continue watching the other woman with abusing husband, still. I wasn't interested in that WITHOUT Prin Suparat's character involved. And Mew Nittha annoyed me...

Dropped by episode 2. Koy Rachwin is CHARMING. Even Prin Suparat can be cool. But it's THEIR age-gap romance which would be worth watching, here. Not the ugly-duckling/sibling-like/annoying-to-death-bickering/cohabitation couple one. Pitty.

Weir being talented ALSO as a singer unfortunatelly drowned in a lame genre mish-mash

We have 34-year old Weir paired with a generation younger Stephany Auernig... Their characters in here unfortunatelly seem to be the annoying kind. On their first meeting they yell at each other on a street like a pair of demented 15-year olds, he's loud (has a bullhorn, too), she's loud, trying to be "cool" by speaking english to him (they're both thai), and they end up almost physically fighting. I felt like closing the lakorn immediatelly. Not that I ever expected anything from Stephany Auernig besides being pretty, but after all his previous work I thought Weir finally could do better. This kind of "bickering couple beginning" deserved to be axed, and whoever written this to be sent back 15 years in time, when this was perhaps still in fashion. But, we have 17 episodes here. Shall the series gradually improve? It does have some nice reviews.

Yeah, next scene(s) Weir's character starts to act like a policeman, whom he also is supposed to be, in this role. Only it's incongruous with his childish annoying acting with the main girl just before. Pol Poonpat is a villain... once again. But, probably for 1 episode only, else I don't know why isn't his role listed here on MDL. Either way, he attempts to strangle nang'ek at one point. Ends up having his head cracked by a flower vase. And being called idiot. And then having his teeth drilled without anesthetics. It started to look like this would be the "crazy comedy" kind of a lakorn... Again, back to the word childish.

There is one more pretty face here, called "Boss" Chanakan. Besides being pretty, there's not much acting, which in case of a male is kinda worse. Then Stephany Auernig's nang'ek starts throwing food on pra'ek and he starts calling her names... She shouts: "Oh my god, you're so annoying!" which is ironic on many levels. What is SHE, then? Many years I continue to pray towards the whole asian community: Please, don't attempt to speak english. Just don't. PLEASE.

Then there's a song sequence featuring Weir. Thankfully, he's not singing in english so that's definitely a positive. I was thinking, perhaps they should be dancing & singing the WHOLE runtime. The show might actually be LESS annoying. Yeah, let's make the whole thing a musical. Episodes could be shorter and blissfully spare us any "crime" elements or "thai-glish" conversations. That could be done, right?

Sadly, they haven't done it. Soon, the song ends and we're back at watching various attempts of "acting" or "crazy humour acting" of the numerous cast. Not long after first 30 minutes of runtime, we hear the first gunshots (Remember the saying "Good romance doesn't need guns"?). Yeah, the disappointment comes quite soon. This won't be any better than any silly-screaming-and-fighting shows I watched before. Only difference would be, how often that would get interrupted by the musical sequences... As the 1st song was also the last one for the episode, answer is: not often enough.

"Boss" Chanakan's character ends up in a same situation with one secondary female (called 'Mo') in which females usually find themselves in. The gender roles got switched there, somehow it doesn't feel "refreshing".

Acting is not good enough for this to work as drama. It is too annoying to work as comedy. It's too little of the musical (which is a huge pitty, because watching the ending credits, I recognized Weir actually being quite tallented singer! The musical COULD be good. Seriously.) So...

Overall, the whole cocktail of MORE than hour and a half left me VERY tired.
So, maybe the show later improves a little, but I'm tired with it NOW.

Es Kantapong still has it. I watched his previous main roles under Oliver Bever, this is like third in a row. Obviously he knows if he wants someone who'd look convincing as both action hero & romantic lead, he can cast Es and he won't make a mistake. Who is not convincing though, is bratty "Boss" Chanakan and his team, whom I would not believe he could help the main hero's case for a second. And I'm seriously getting annoyed with these naive storylines that "fight corruption" in more stupid way than love stories occur in romantic telenovelas. I know extreme naivety is like Bever trademark, but I'm tired with thai television producing more and more stupid corruption dramas, like they would like to somehow justify what is occuring in real Thailand. Making such a stupid shows about it is probably helping the mafia even more:// What's worse, this is not as trashy as Oliver Bever's previous work so you cannot even laugh watching it. I watched 1 episode which had a length of a movie and I think this time I had enough, nothing compels me to watch 17 of them.

I watched this already. So I'm sorry, but if today's scriptwriters are unable to come up with any story of their own and keep doing remakes it can't be helped: I've seen this already and that itself is annoying.

Other thing is, when I watched this for the first time, there was CHAKRIT, plus young Aum Patcharapa. Now, not only this is not original, but I need to put up with Michael Pattaradet & MOOKDA, instead (both these actors "proved" themselves to me in their previous lakorns I DROPPED).

Anyways the online site which this series was on was rather slow, and the video kept buffering till I found myself not really feeling the need to finish the 1st episode, meaning more than one hour of this.

Now, this lakorn's praek looks like a lead (or second lead) from some BL on Line TV or similar channel. There is at least one more here (Aun Akrabhaj) he could work with, but I wasn't sure how he'll work with the lead girl. Rapeepat Eakpankul is here, trying to look serious (well, he's aged so his look got a bit sadder:) During the first episode, I really wasn't enjoying most of the cast didn't fit their roles.

I wondered what's there to look for on a wholescale... The most helpful review here mentiones this as best 2020 lakorn with great story, which should be free of any cliches. If this is true then it is really tragic. We no longer have any pra'eks that would not look gay and as for the story, we can see a little boy who's mother had been neglected while sick for another woman, the dad leaving the boy desperate in the rain, bla bla... Okay I'm sorry but I did watch this before, LMAO. To say I was half asleep after 30 minutes of watching would not be an overstatement. This "Donut"'s acting consist mainly of smirking (at his father's picture when nobody's looking, or at just anyone, really) during which he looks like a nerdy brat. The most prominent acting belongs to Jeab Pijittra and that speaks of something. She reached 40 and finally at least the age has given her some depth, LOL. If our "Donut" would really go for her and not the daughter perhaps I wouldn't be so colossally bored.

I do understand it's a massive change for a Channel 7 lakorn to even HAVE any drama in it but I cannot honestly imagine 18 long episodes of watching this cast. Didn't finish the 1st episode, even.

Sponsored by Royal Caribbean Mariner of the Seas... "Enjoy."

I never managed to get through 1st episode of 'Fated To Love You', and that had my then most favorite taiwanese actress in there. So, I never tried any of the remakes, as I guessed this is just not my kind of story. Until... This one. Now with even more stupid name 'You're My Destiny', shall it share the same fate (dropped in 1st episode)? I never liked Bie Sukrit or Esther Supreeleela... And... I didn't like the 1st episode of this. But, it was like the music was enjoying itself way more than I was, it was roaring so much! Perhaps the somewhat bizarre experience made me open even episode 2, this time...

And, it starts right away. The music! It's so grand you expect a story of an epic calibre. What does actually happen? One girl gets into wrong room when under influence. But! Before that (for 1 episode and a half, we still wait for it) she like trips and drops her glasses and stuff. The epic music of course highlights everything "accordingly". LOLz. Anyways, the sex is portrayed by huge detail on real kissing. Which is something you never see in thai production, so you could say they outdid themselves BUT it is not a kiss scene, it's a sex scene:)

He then parades her around the luxurious ship (looks like it all was made as a promotional video for the cruise, by the way) and dresses her up like a doll and tries to boost her confidence but somehow I couldn't care less. The synopsis says she got pregnant that night. I realized I didn't care whether he's going to marry her or plain tell her to get lost. Even if their story thus ended immediatelly, it would be the same to ME. And therefore... while the music kept raging on... I resolved I can wrap this up early.

First episode: Well, the opening credits leave no room for doubt that this should be something big. The older generation cast is top notch. The main leads are not interesting, but else the cast is like packing with hot guys, who never made it to being pra'ek, but I find them hot:)

And there is Jacqueline Muench!:) Last time I saw her was in 'Rabam Mek' (which I dropped) and this sadly was like a deja-vu for me, as in this series, she AGAIN first appears after long screentime has passed, again as a side-girl, again in some nightclub scene. Sigh.

In short, opening credits epic music sound way bigger than the actual content following, and each cast member has the more screentime the less I wish to see them and vice versa. Then again, which series it was NOT like that? lol.

Second episode, I started to be bit annoyed with the opening credits: I already knew what should really await me after them. Also, I realized I don't like any crime/action element in my lakorns, really. I am not interested in plots about drug cartels (whether they are written by good writer, or lakorn writer, or former pra'ek, like here). I am not impressed with tiny girls trying to look badass as police officers. They are about as credible as Prin Suparat, lol. In short, a simple romance lakorns which are good are GREAT in compare to badass "crime lakorns" that try so much to look cool.

A single episode runtime is unsufferable and number of episodes is too much, also. I considered dropping this. Maybe, watching the opening credits ONLY was the best, lolz.

I decided to finish the very long (like a movie) second episode and then... decide. Technical prob appeared before that happened so I did not bother to watch it again for the rest (I think I managed about an hour of it).

Well... The main couple cast of this did NOT look promising (judging from my previous experience). Just the name Park Shin Hye. How could one not shudder remembering the "drama" that was so bad (and it was not because of bad cinematography, in fact the "drama" remains in MDL Top 10 "Most Popular Shows") I wanted to rate it 1.0, but it was SO bad I rated it 2.0? LOL. Not much more can be said about "Love Story" in Harvard' which had Kim Tae Hee in the lead (!!) and I DROPPED it after 10 episodes (rated it 3.0, that much charitable I felt).

I decided to try just ONE episode of this. No more chances. So. This one has an interesting age gap. He is introduced to be quite likeable school teacher. Very well. But I was not particularly looking forward Park Shin Hye's character joining that school. Her character is seen leaving to somewhere in 1st episode, she might as well just left the drama and I wouldn't complain. While she might not be just a wooden doll like when she was younger, her portraying loud and "badass" type nevertheless looks like a girl acting out, which looks a bit embarassing with her being 26, and not 16. So, the first episode did not convince me. The guy was too cool for her. I don't need to watch it 20 times to see that.

This begins AFTER all the events of the movie version (ATM: Er Rak Error (2012), which was 1hr 50 minutes long and quite packed with various happenings.

The main two characters married each other already and freshly settled in new house. The whole 1st episode consists of their tomfool antics and meeting 1 new neighbor (he is a funny character from the movie).

I think this is mostly comedy, absolutely no romance & drama.

There is generally NO STORY, just a live-in couple comedy.

I can't imagine watching 21 episodes of this...

Ken & Esther make the weirdest looking couple (the fact they date in real life only confirms it, lol)

and their characters' interactions are full of the classic annoying "bickering couple" stuff.

There's not any story really, as it's all about having a cafe, having a cat, not having much of a life but trying to write about it, etc...

I WOULD understand if this was a 4-episode thingy. Have it been so, I could try and force myself through to the end (I started zoning out in episode 2 already).

Okay... We have young girl, barely over twenty, barely any personality... Her "mother", who looks like her grandmother... And her "new" husband. Meaning 40-year old "New" Wongsakorn (he's not that new to me and while I didn't like him even when he WAS young, I don't think combing his hair all up should prevent anyone from noticing how "young" he is now).

As for other cast, we have Nappon Gomarachun (wow), Art Pasut (hopefully he'll have his own story line, because I'll definitely won't watch 24 episodes for New Wongsakorn), Katreeya English (that's really her name, lol) who is 44 but looks even older (must be those strenuous workouts) and Benz Narinya (!) who blew me away as 16-year old nang'ek (seriously) in her 'Naree Rissaya' lakorn and since then, I haven't seen her in anything. Regretfully, this looks like a very small role. From what I have watched yet, I havent as much as noticed her.

This story BEGINS with the wedding. Obviously the girl is marrying some wothless manwhore who's the type with whom one is more lonely than actually alone. And Art Pasut is his brother (oh, no) which looks like he won't have his own line but only would hover. Girl even receives a written warning she shouldn't marry this guy and I say such advice should always be heeded even if it comes from the enemy line:)

So, since episode 1, it is clear this won't be my cup of romance.

The girl might stay at the wedding but I am leaving.
