What if Ms koo & Santa was more then just coworkers??
Just finished this. It started really well and was solid. But midway it was going off the plot and jumping around. Towards the last few eps, the confusion clears though. Gave it 8.5/10. recommend it very much. Also, I wish there was more to santa. like they should have made santa and ms koo a couple. I know the age gap was big but the lengths he took to look after her I would approve of them being a couple. what is your opinion on santa and ms koo being a couple? Also WHO IS SANTA? Like I finished the drama but have missed something or is it still a mystery?? Let me know if you know.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Nearly dropped it so many times!
Finished this kdrama last night and i got to say this was a sticky one, ESPECIALLY at the beginning of this drama. On the first ep I was fine with it and everything was going well. Until I watched ep2 and 3 and so on and felt like this drama was just being dragged and that I knew what was gonna happen by the end. Like the plot was good and but things were getting boring and it felt like they were taking too long to introduce 1 character after the other. Also I felt like both the lead male and female were not doing a good job with the acting. I felt like I was forcing myself to watch it and just left it at ep6 thinking ill come back to it after a few days with a fresh mind. After a couple of weeks I wasn't bothered to watch it so I even asked on MDL feeds if I should bother going back or just dropping it. Many were agreeing with me and said they already dropped it and some said to decide after watching 1 more ep. Anyways I went back to it and let me tell you it got better from ep7. Not better as in a 10/10, but just better. Anyways I finished it and it was okay. It had a lot of potentials though. If it had better male and female lead then I think it would have done way better. I gave it an 8.5/10. Have a watch.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Amazing K-drama BUT THE ENDING WASN'T IT!!!
JUST FINISHED 2521!!!! And WOW! What was that ending?!! Like seriously?? Like I'm not mad about Heedo and BYJ not being together cause I sort of realized it from the very beginning especially cause of the title itself. But seriously they could have done a better ending of them not being together rather than showing Heedo being married but her husband not being shown and BYJ just climbing his way up. Them not seeing each other at the same time as the others and having potentially lingering feelings left for each other from the last interview was just not it. Like she is a married person and he has his own life. Showing that just makes it seem like she just married someone for the sake of not burdening BYJ and makes BYJ look like he will be single forever! Like I just didn't like IT. ANYWAYS GAVE IT 9/10. Could have been a 10/10 but the ending ruined it. Anyways have a watch it is a really good drama. And let me know your opinion if you already watched it.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
TOP TIER Hospital Kdrama!!!
Just finished watching Hospital Playlist S2 and damn I'm gonna miss it. It's definitely top-tier hospital kdrama for me. Romance, comedy, friendship, heartbreak, feel-good, life, family, music, emotional, satisfying, happy ending, death, character development, bromance, Uni friends, and relationships - it has it all. It is a gem to watch and 100% recommend to you all. It can be a little slow sometimes tho. 9.5/10 from me!If anyone is wondering about S3 then here's the TEA - at the moment nothing is confirmed and the cast was told to take on other projects since they have been fully committed to Hospital Playlist S1 S2 for 2 years and when they have time in the future then they will likely get together for S3. So no S3 for some time. Or they might not do it at all. But never know there may be news of it happening as well since it's such a hit drama between all generations.
Personally, I think there may not be an S3, and that S2 is the end because everyone reached their happy ending or whatever relationship/money/happiness they had been wishing for since S1/2 has made its way through. So I don't think there will be S3. However, if there were to be S3 then I think there r 2 possibilities. Either they will have a completely new cast cause things might get boring with the same cast as we already saw 2 seasons of it and as said before everyone reached a happy ending. Or the 2nd possibility is that S3 will be about how their lives are after about 2-4 years and how they're coping with being doctors and their personal relationship. Since they are all in their 40ties then it could be about how they have to move up to a different tier of being a doctor because with time new people come for the job and they are also older? So I think the 2-4 years after will start when the couple that went abroad for the boyfriend wanting to research comes back. So what do you think will happen?
Anyways if you haven't yet go and start watching as all eps are out and it ended.

Just don't bother! Waste of time! Didn't live up to the cast value!
Sorry for all the spelling and grammar mistakes in advance.Okayyyy, so last night I watched the Cmovie 'Once upon a time', which is an adaptation of the veryyyy popular Cdrama 'ten miles of peach blossoms/eternal love'. Ngl I did have high hopes for the cmovie as the main m/f lead was one of the best 'yang yang' and liu yifie', also it's basically an adaptation so what can go wrong? Well, so many things in this movie were so bad. Also, I already knew that it's gonna be bad or not as good as the drama cause words were around.
Anyways the production quality was so bad! About 95% or maybe the whole movie was just CGI (computer-generated images) apart from the actors themselves. And the CGI wasn't even good, like the quality was so bad and it was very very obvious what was CGI! But of course given the storyline, the acting and direction of the movie wouldn't be bad. right? or was it?
Yes, it so bad like the leads were yang yang and liu yifie so of course, i was gonna expect good acting. but yang yangs acting was so awkward and it just looks the same as anything else I have seen him acting in (love 020, king? etc). Liu yifie was okay, if the production, CGI, her opposite lead was maybe somewhat better then this movie wouldn't have been all that bad.
And let me just get into the storyline cause OMG they left out so much of the actual story and I know its a movie so it can't be too long otherwise obviously the original drama is there if u want everything. but come on how can they miss out so much. the movie was i think around 1hour 45minutes where as the drama is 58 eps so they can really be blamed to fit everything in otherwise it would just look like they rushing the movie. But honestly, I wished they could have made the movie longer. like I wouldn't mind if it was as long as 3 hours. I would watch the whole thing cause we all know from the drama that it's good so missing it would just be that u aren't bothered or u already seen the drama so why the movie. but come on they still could have done so much better if they made a bit longer. I think the only good scene was, spoiler, when she realized she's susu and how her eyes were stolen. so for that, I do give yifie a round of applause but everything else from the so obviously bad CGI to yang yangs bad acting to missing out on important parts of the storyline was so bad.
I gave it a 6.5/10 only cause liu yifies acting considering how everything else was bad. honestly, id say don't bother watching if u already saw the drama or just watch the drama if u haven't seen either. but if u still wanna watch the movie like I did despite all the negative reviews I've seen before even watching the movie then go on. Although I would recommend to just go on youtube and watch a FMV of the movie trust everything looks so heartbreakingly promising in them but it really wasn't. Anyways ill add a link to a good FMV of the movie, that is actually better than how the movie is.
2 different FMV of 'Once upon a time' Cmovie (recc to watch both):

Not your average kdrama! 9/10
Just finished this kdrama and I loved it! If you like kdramas with action, kidnapping, murder, police, investigations, gritty, dark, thriller, and crime then I 100% recommend it to you! And it's only 11 eps! There's a season 2 as well and a season 3 movie!? 9/10 from me. However, if you are 18 and under or sensitive to violent scenes then I wouldn't recommend it to you, as there are many explicit violent fighting scenes with knife crimes and guns. Basically, it's not your average kdrama with a male lead doing taekwondo and finishing up the villains in 10secs, there's more to it. Also, there's no romance, maybe some bromance tho (not bl).Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Even a tragic ending can be an invisible blessing
One of the best kdramas I've seen. It's based on a true story during the Japanese colonial ruling times in Joseon Korea and has only 3 eps but so much to it. love, death, history, tragedy, musical, melodrama, forbidden love, arranged marriage, bibliography, rich male lead, poor female lead, star crossed lovers, disapproving parents, and more. Both male and female leads did an amazing job in portraying the emotions. This kdrama really showcased not everything has to end on a good note. Even a tragic ending can be an invisible blessing. Deffo one of their top tier work for me. I gave it a 10/10. Deffo recommend for everyone to watch it.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Reality!!!
In The Tale of Rose, Crystal Liu playing Huang Yimei shares significant screen time with three male leads β Peng Guanying (first love), Lin Gengxin (boyfriend & husband), and Wallace Huo (boyfriend & soulmate) β each representing a different phase and dynamic in her character's journey. Her chemistry with each male lead brings unique elements to the drama, reflecting the evolution of her personal and professional life.Chemistry with Peng Guanying (Zhuang Guodong):
Liu Yifei and Peng Guanying deliver a deeply emotional and multifaceted portrayal of Huang Yimei and Zhuang Guodong's first love. Liu Yifei's portrayal of Huang Yimei's first love with Peng Guanying's Zhuang Guodong captures the passion and innocence of young love. Their on-screen relationship is tender and emotionally charged, resonating with viewers as they navigate the highs and lows of early romance. Their dynamic was both heartfelt and relatable, making their storyline a standout in the early episodes. As their relationship faces the pressures of societal expectations and personal ambitions, their chemistry evolves into one filled with tension and heartbreak. Peng Guanying portrays Zhuang Guodong's controlling tendencies with intensity, while Liu Yifei brings vulnerability and strength to Huang Yimei's struggle for independence. Their performances highlight the bittersweet complexities of love, creating a poignant and relatable storyline that remains one of the most emotionally resonant aspects of the drama.
Chemistry with Lin Gengxin (Fang Xiewen):
As Huang Yimei's journey progresses, her relationship with Ling Genxin's Fang Xiewen adds a unique intensity and depth to the drama. Their interactions stand out as a mix of professional tension and underlying personal connection. Fang Xiewen, is deeply tied to Huang Yimei's journey of ambition and growth. Their relationship begins on a foundation of professional rivalry, with Fang Xiewen often challenging Huang Yimei in ways that push her beyond her limits. This tension fuels their on-screen chemistry, as their sharp exchanges and moments of confrontation are filled with unspoken emotions, leaving the audience questioning the true nature of their bond. As the story progresses, their dynamic becomes more layered, blending moments of vulnerability with the ongoing power struggles. The gradual shift from rivalry to a deeper, more complex relationship keeps viewers intrigued, as the line between professional respect and personal connection begins to blur. Liu Yifei and Lin Gengxin's performances together are particularly compelling during the drama's more emotionally charged moments. Whether it's a heated argument or a rare scene of mutual understanding, the two actors share an undeniable spark that adds an extra dimension to the narrative. This dynamic between Huang Yimei and Fang Xiewen serves as a reflection of the challenges and compromises inherent in balancing career ambitions with personal relationships (love. marriage, parenthood), adding richness and depth to *The Tale of Rose*.
Chemistry with Wallace Huo (Pu Jia Ming):
Liu Yifei's portrayal of Huang Yimei and Wallace Huo's depiction of Fu Jiaming create a poignant and emotionally resonant dynamic. Their on-screen chemistry is marked by a deep connection that evolves as their characters navigate complex personal challenges. Liu Yifei and Wallace Huo effectively convey the nuances of a relationship overshadowed by impending loss, bringing authenticity to their performances. Their chemistry is particularly compelling in scenes that explore the fragility of life and love. Their interactions are imbued with a sense of urgency and tenderness, (SPOILER) reflecting the limited time Fu Jiaming has due to his terminal illness. This dynamic adds depth to the narrative, highlighting themes of resilience and the human capacity to find joy amidst adversity. Their portrayal of a couple cherishing fleeting moments together resonates with audiences, contributing to the drama's overall impact. Overall, the collaboration between the two offers a heartfelt depiction of love's endurance in the face of life's impermanence.
Bonus - Chemistry with Lin Yi (He Xi)
Liu Yifei and Lin Yi share a refreshing and vibrant on-screen chemistry. He Xi, a confident and charming pilot, brings spontaneity and adventure into Huang Yimei's life, contrasting her more complex past relationships. Their dynamic is marked by playful banter and genuine affection, creating a relationship that feels uplifting and sincere. This pairing highlights themes of rediscovery and new beginnings, showing that life is ongoing and there will always be chances for growth and love, resonating deeply with viewers as a hopeful and engaging element of the drama.

Collectively, her chemistry with all three male leads elevates the narrative, making *The Tale of Rose* a memorable exploration of love, ambition, and self-discovery.

realistic relationship problems but fake endings
Jiyu my girl, why did you choose Dohyongh?! He has been constantly manipulating her and blaming her cause he knows that she will accept it but when Jiyu stood up for herself and didn't let him off for talking smack to her face he was like "I might reconsider our relationship", well he should have. Honestly, I think both stayed for the sake of looking good in front of the viewers but broke up after the show ended. Also, Jiyu is an influencer and Dohyongh is a math instructor they want to keep their images so it doesn't affect their professional life. So yeah I wish they would have broken up in the show but I think they broke up after it ended.Even though I very much disliked Hyeyeon at the beginning for constantly gaslighting Taewan but after they had the big convo Taewon was pissing me off. Since around ep13/14, he has been constantly victimizing himself when she was trying to change for him. Also, he deserved a slap for taking her phone off her. I understood him for the fact that he was unable to trust her because of her behavior in the past but he shouldn't have just victimized himself and kept trying to make her look bad. Also, I'm 100% sure that he wanted to break up on the show but it was obvious that Hyeyeon didn't want to so he also didn't because he doesn't want to look bad. I'm very sure that they will break up after a couple of weeks once the show ends. Honestly, he could break up as soon as leaving the show but you know they probably want the brand deals and ads and all. Altogether I think they should've broken up and will after the show.
EVERYONE, PLEASE GIVE A BIG ROUND OF APPLAUSE TO YUNSEOL! SHE IS OUR QUEEN! Good thing Hyogi and Yunseol broke up. tbh I don't think either of them wanted to break up but the way they are so different made them have so much pent-up anger. Yunseol would have stayed but the way Hyogi overreacted and faulted everything on Yunseol cause Taewan made the "helper" comment made Yunseol very hurt especially since he shouted at her in front of everyone. Basically humiliating and trying to act tough in front of the "boys". Throughout the show, Yunseol kept her cool and didn't let herself be in a vulnerable state in front of anyone, but that night she was crying so it made me instantly think she was done with him. And Hyogi also loved her but he was constantly talking about that past. He would be listening to her and when she brings up what he did to her he would fire back with "but what about the 500 days of..." Like just shut up Hyogi! Why are you so obsessed with the past? Anyways they are both in the wrong in many ways. Also, we didn't really see much of Yunseol's perspective. Anyways happy they broke up.
It makes sense that Jeong Hun and Huiyeon are staying together. If Jeonghun had a stable job from the beginning then they wouldn't have needed to come to the show even because as Huiyeon said that after he gets off of the army it will take him another 2ish years to be stable but she wants to get married and be stable. Anyways happy for them.
Overall opinion: The only couple's decisions I'm happy with are Huiyeon + Jungheon (stayed together) and Hyogi + Yunseol (broke up). The rest should've broken up as well but didn't.

MESSAGE: Accept yourself before trying to love someone else!
Wasn't expecting this movie to be so good. I thought it was just gonna be an average childhood friends to lovers and jealousy here and there type of story. But there was so much more to it such as before loving someone you should love yourself first and accept yourself for yourself first. I loved the messages in this movie. The emotional scenes made me cry as well. Also just found out this is both the lead's first lead and they deffo did a terrific job in it! And the OSTs was so good I loved it! Gonna add to my playlist. Have a watch! I really recommend it!Vond je deze recentie nuttig?

Its TRASH. Dont waste your time!!!
So I watched this c-drama a couple of months ago and thought I should do a quick review before anyone else wastes their time on it. there are about 37 eps I think and it had a lot of potential but.,. This cdrama wasted 29 eps of my time. I don't even know why I stayed for that long like I should have just dropped it. It was so repetitive and I urge you not to waste time. long story short - the girl and dragon have many lifetimes and in every one of them, they can't stay together because I think the dragon brings misfortune to her. Anyways I was tryna stay hold thinking it will get better like if you have ever seen any lifetime cdrama you know it's not that bad. It's the same fall in love, can't be together x3 and then happy ending. But NO in this one they fall apart 100x lol. anyways ITS A WASTE OF TIME DONT BOTHER WITH IT. only the first 10-15 eps were okay-ish. I gave it 7/10 only for the beginning and the ost. It was trash. bye.Vond je deze recentie nuttig?
Got boring
DROPPED...So I watched like 34 or 35 eps of it out of 53. And not ngl the beginning was pretty good but it got dead around ep 20. I paused watching this like 1 or months ago thinking I'll think about it and go back. But I didn't even once. If you have seen 'princess wei yang' or ' legend of fu yao' or 'princess agents' the plot is very similar to them but not as good or highly produced I'd say. Btw I also dropped legend of fu yao cause it also got dead. princess agents does not compare to any, it is top tier! gave song of glory 6.5/10. Not recommended tbh.
I'd suggest princess wei yang and princess agents instead.
