I enjoyed this.

I was intrigued by the trailer and the trailer delivers! Storyline, plot, acting, pace, cinematography was good. It was refreshing to watch a well written plot. I also found out that this drama was a novel adaptation but the writer decided to give it its own twist, which was perfect, I think the drama stands out on its own.

Chemistry wise- this may be unpopular opinion, but I'm not feeling it. I think both leads act well together but I don't ship them. Someone quoted the leads like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in Mr. & Mrs. Smith, well I agree.

Cast - I'm biased towards WCR, I think she is so pretty and this role is perfect for her. The supporting cast is great too, The one who play Prince Sui impressed me in the last 2 episodes. I was moved. I love cute, grumpy He Zhen and my foodie empress Xueji too.
