Ok, before anything else: I am a complete SUCKER for time traveling Kdramas! I love this concept SOOOO so much, and what makes this drama even more special to my heart is how special the connection between traditional and modern medicine is.

I did not know anything about this before I started, I literally just knew it was a time traveling drama. With regards to the story, I'm not one to say this often but its just.. PERFECT for me. Although it had a simple plotline, it still had had the right mix of comedy, romance and history.. And I especially loved the chemistry between Kim Ah Joong and Kim Nam Gil! They did their characters very well, and I became so in love with Heo Im through his charafter growth throughout the series. I really love the morals questioned in this drama, as it is a very serious talk of life or death of people in the hands of doctors. Discrimination of classes both in the past and present in terms of medical treatment was tackled very well, and I saw the devastating effects of these all-throughout the drama. I love also how this has broken the trope of girl who heals guy, because almost every character around Heo Im contributed to his growth and not solely relying on Yeon Gyeong. On the other hand, Yeon Gyeong's character growth was also very touching to me. She was a very strong character as a doctor at the start, and lacking in the aspect of emotion because of her tragic past. Eventually, the wounds had to open up and seeing how she started connecting more emotionally than just medically to her patients and opening up to her grandfather touched me so much. Another character I'd like to specially mention is Oh Ha Ra for being a key person to both Heo Im and Yeon Gyeong. The characters surrounding the main roles were also quite wholesome, and seeing a proper resolution to all of them was a very nice touch, even til the very end.

In terms of the cast, well, the chemistry between Kim Nam Gil and Kim Ah Joong was just AMAZING. They worked so well with each other. I also had no particular problems with any other casting as well. The OSTs, though few, were very catchy for me and lovely in scenes they were added to.

In conclusion, this certainly is one of the finest Kdramas I have ever seen... It's so wholesome and had just the right amount of dramatic moments mixed with all the comedic and medical aspects, a great cast and OST.
