Squid Game S2 introduces a lot of new characters and new plotlines, but it doesn't do enough to make these elements fully engaging. Many of the new players are undeveloped, and their motivations are not explored as deep as they could have been. The pacing begins to slow down in certain episodes and loses some tension that made the first season so good.…While the season offers some surprises, most of the twists are way more predictable then S1, making the shock value not as strong as before.
This season is still pretty engaging but it doesn't live up to the expectations set by the first season (but most sequels don't). It maintains the suspense and high-stakes but struggles with pacing, character development, and predictability. The season is solid but it doesn't offer the same level of impact or originality that made the first season a cultural phenomenon.
I think the people working on Squid Game realized how well the first season went so they're trying to drag on the plot for as long as possible. If you asked me, I wouldn't recommend this season to anyone, unless you're looking for a sequel of a sequel (season 3).

Phenomenal.
There are many times when I watch Korean movies that I just need to look away for a few seconds, but for this movie I didn't look away once.This movie, from the beginning to the end, was a masterpiece. If you're looking for a beautiful story with authentic feelings of affection then you'll love this. I don't think I ever felt the same since I first watched it in 2023, I wish I could watch it for the first time again. The storyline is filled with so much miscommunication and missed opportunities, the fact theres no happy ending to their relationship makes it so much more heartbreaking. Bo Ra and Woon Ho deserved so much more.

The struggle of being an idol.
I don't think many people realize it but the focus of this drama was NOT romance. It was the struggle of being an idol and the cost of their image in public as one.I only wish they had removed the whole love triangle part and focused purely on the idol drama, as they never fully explored or resolved that aspect, leaving it feeling unfinished. But aside from that, it was really good. The ending might have been a little rushed, but it was a happy one, which made me extremely happy! I'd rate this drama a solid 8. The episodes are shorter than those of other dramas, but they’re still very valuable and memorable. I would definitely re-watch it if I had the chance.

When I Fly Towards S2
This is the cutest drama I've ever seen!Asian romance dramas already do these school loves stories really well, this is an excellent example of one.
The leads are in their first relationship and are just beginning to learn how to love; it's a youthful and healthy. You can't help but root for them every episode and be invested in their day to day life. I really can't get over the main couple, Zhang Lu Rang and Su Zai Zai, they are so adorable.
This drama makes me think about both love and friendship. This drama shows how friends should support each other. It's not just about a heartwarming couple, but also about keeping your studies in check while also having fun during your teenage years.
This show may seem long at first, but once you start it, it'll pass by in the blink of an eye, just like your childhood. The last few episodes are definitely worth the wait!

Disappointing Ending
This drama seemed to reach the perfect ending by episode 15, when Lin Yujing returned to Puicheng for Shen Juan. It felt like the characters had finally grown and were ready to be together. The moment seemed like the ideal conclusion, leaving us hopeful for their future.But then the drama continued, and it just didn't live up to expectations. The extra episodes added unnecessary drama and conflict that didn't really improve the story. Instead of focusing on their growth, the main couple went through more problems that felt repetitive and forced. They just kept dragging the story along, and the ending wasn't even a fulfilling one.
With all that said, I would've given this drama a 10/10 had it ended on episode 15, with a more satisfying and complete feeling. Adding more episodes in this drama only took away from what could've been a perfect conclusion.

One sided bromance?
This film revolves around a North Korean by the name of Im Gyu Nam escaping from North Korea to the South. The tension builds throughout the movie as they try to survive and uncover the truth about their predicament. While the movie does follow some familiar survival thriller tropes, it still stands out because of its strong performances, intense pacing, and psychological depth.The actors do an excellent job of portraying the levels of fear, desperation, and complex emotions in their characters as they struggle with their circumstances. Their interactions feel authentic, and the relationships between them evolve as secrets are revealed, trust is tested, and moral dilemmas arise. The direction is tight, ensuring that each scene escalates tension, and the film is paced in a way to keep the audience guessing.
While the plot may not be entirely original, Escape does a great job of playing with character dynamics and survival instincts, offering more than just action. The psychological element of the movie makes it stand out, as viewers are constantly kept on edge, not just by the external threats, but by the internal conflicts of the characters.

Definitely original?
The concept of this story is definitely original, but I wouldn't consider it too outstanding.Long D definitely has an original concept, but it doesn't stand out much. The story is about a couple in a long-distance relationship, which is interesting. It shows the ups and downs of being far away from someone you love and shows how technology can both help and also complicate relationships.
The characters are decent, but their chemistry feels a little flat. The main characters don't feel as connected or as deep as you might hope for in a romance drama. While the themes of love and personal growth are important, the show doesn't explore them in an exciting way. The pacing can also feel slow, and some parts of the story is predictable.
Overall, Long D is a good option if you're looking for something simple, or slow paced, but it may not be the most memorable or exciting drama. It's okay, but if someone asks me if it was good, I wouldn't say it was.

No plot, mid jumpscares.
If you're looking for a good story, this isn't the movie for you. There's nothing crazy about it, some characters might have had a bit of an interesting backstory and relationships between each other … but the male lead was completely missing one. There's way too many scenes that make you question why things happened the way it did.If you're just looking for a scare, the only thing you'll be getting is mid jump scares with basic horror sound effects and music. The amount of work put into the CGI for the monsters and ghosts are not very good for 2021.
I do not recommend this movie to anyone. I think it would've been better off released as a drama as it doesn't explain the plot very well with the amount of time given.
I started this movie for Chani and Park Yoo-na, but was disappointed with horrible everything.

Cringe and not very good.
When I first saw this drama, I was curious, but I wasn't expecting much. The story is very cliché, there's nothing unique about it. The cast was just … fine. The decision for it to be a web drama instead of a regular drama was the only good idea, but it would've been better off released as a movie.Overall, I would recommend to watch this drama. You'd only lose 2 hours of your day to watch the entire series and it's a nice refresher between longer and more serious dramas.

Very cliché but still good!
This drama is about a girl named Lim Joo-kyeong who got severely bullied throughout elementary school because of her looks. In addition to that, she even got bullied by her close relatives. They called her ugly and asked why she had to have gotten the ugly genes unlike her younger brother and older sister. This caused her low self-esteem. When she moved to a new school she was introduced to makeup and watched a lot of makeup tutorials before mastering the art of it. When she went to school she became popular right off the bat, but she is still terrified of people seeing how she looked bare faced.My only issue with this show is how inaccurate it is to the Webtoon. In the Webtoon, she was Seo-jun's girlfriend for a period of time whereas in the Kdrama her relationship with Seo-jun was nonexistent to save time. Besides that, the script was well-written and the casting was done perfectly! The actors did such a great job with what they were given.
I would give a lot to watch this for the first time again.

Terrible pacing, cliché, predictable?
NOTE: I haven't watched Go Ahead prior to writing this review.-
Honestly, I think I had overestimated this drama. At first, it was as I expected, an emotional and heartwarming drama about a chosen family, but it ended up feeling frustrating and slow by episode 3. The idea behind it was great, but the pacing made it harder to enjoy then I expected.
One of the biggest issues was how their birth parents tried to re-enter their children's lives one after the other, in a way that felt rushed and disjointed. Instead of building up emotional weight of their return, each parent came into the picture almost consecutively. There's never a time where Hae Jun's father crosses paths with San Ha's mom which is very unrealistic considering how many times they went back to convince them. This pacing made the emotional moments feel shallow, as I didn’t have enough time to truly feel the impact of their return.
When the emotional parts finally came, they didn't have the same impact they could have had because the buildup felt so slow and tedious. The pacing made it hard to stay engaged, and I found myself losing interest in what could have been a really touching story.
Another issue I found was the romance that followed after San Ha returned from Seoul quickly became very predictable and cliché. (But I might be a little biased because I was already disappointed because of previous episodes.)
Family by Choice was promising, but it just didn't live up to what it could've been. The slow pacing made it harder to connect with the characters or get invested in their healing journey, which was a huge letdown.

Nearly perfect.
When this drama first came out I didn't want to watch it because I thought it was too gory but later regretted it. When season 2 came out I wanted to quickly finish season 1 to watch it.S1 is almost perfect, but there are a few minor issues. Some parts of the plot and character development could be a bit clearer or more detailed. A few of the 'twists' were a little predictable, especially for viewers who are used to watching survival storylines. Despite those few minor flaws, the show still does a good job of keeping you hooked and emotionally invested.
Overall, it's an amazing series that combines suspense, strong characters, and important themes about society. It's thrilling, emotional, and visually striking, making it one of the best shows that came out in 2021. With its unforgettable story and powerful message, it deserves a solid 9.5/10.

A tasty watch.
What got me hooked onto this drama was the use of food. To Chinese people, meals are very important. However, it's not just about the food, it's about the time spent eating together with family, which Su Ke Lan brings up a lot. By sharing a meal, you can have a better understanding of the people around you. Music, visual arts and culinary art is a mean of communication, love and happiness.The plot is very straightforward: a girl meets a nasty boss and eventually falls in love with him. The boss becomes attracted to her because of her talents and wisdom. Both characters have flaws, and they grow together to become better people.
The best part of the show was episode 14, after that I think the writers were trying to focus more on the relationships of the side characters, but the things that happened between Yu Hao and Su Ke Lan were rather predictable.
Overall, if you were to ask me, I would definitely recommend this drama to someone, especially if they're a foodie. This drama makes me eager to learn how to cook properly and become more thankful for the home cooked meals my parents can provide for me.

A complete waste of time!
There was basically no chemistry and an awful ending.The reason for him to keep chasing her was outright stupid. She left him for a reason he didn't even know. Yet, as soon as he saw her in a school magazine, he changed all his goals for a girl he hadn't spoken to in years. He should've stopped after finding out she had a boyfriend at the time.
There was also way too much mentions of p*rn, condoms and masturbation, it was disgusting.🤢🤮

The best day of my life is watching this drama for the first time.
This romance was well put together and definitely worth a watch. There are a few episodes where they pull apart because of misunderstandings, but to me, it only adds to the story.The male and female leads have great chemistry. The cliché story tropes are saved by the handsome male lead. When the male lead finally confessed his love, I was grinning from ear to ear. At the end, when the photo album of Xie Shi and Xu Mu's relationship was shown it was a good cherry on top, a 10/10 summary to this wonderful drama.
I wouldn't say this drama is a comedy nor a drama. I think it would best fit into slice-of-life romance. Sometimes, those romances are too boring or jarring, but this one found the right balanced and managed to maintain it to the end. Watching this show will make you envy Xu for having such a man like Xie.
