Too.... boring
Nothing happens in this drama. I think people hyped this up too much for nothing enticing to happen. Didn't care for the romance, found it quite boring considering it's the only major plot point the writers focused on.They were also at university but never seemed to have homework or anything like that. I mean the heroine was a weightlifter but even that was kinda wishy washy. It was mentioned when convenient.
The whole love triangle business was quite weird and I found myself cringing. The girl meets the hero's brother for like 5 seconds and decieds that she wants him because he held an umbrella out for her. Fast foward finds out he's a weight loss doctor and as a weightlifter and college students, she decieds it would be a good idea to use her money to go loose weight in order to get closer to him... she's a weightlifter.... and not only that it was so anticlimatic seeing as she could barely speak two words to him.

Just a major disappointment
Premise was interesting. I picked this up one day at like 1 am to pass the time, I realized after 4 episodes in I wasn't really into it but as the masochist I am I finished it. I hate love triangles so that part wasn't appealing to me. Though I was rooting for the first lead even though he was a walking red flag, I'm shallow so I liked him because he was cuter and not because he was better for her. It's a show so sue me for not trying to be realistic.I hated the heroine's family, she been needed to cut her ties.
I think the most unappealing part of the love triangle was that the second lead had been working with the heroine for a while, sometimes followed her to the bus stop but could barely hold a conversation with her and then sweeps in his best friend who likes the heroine and is bold asl. He asks the second lead if he's into the heroine and the second lead say no, granted the hero could obviously see he likes the heroine because he asks multiple times, so that was iffy to me because why date your best friend's crush.
Fast forward with all the love triangle drama the first lead doesn't even end up with the girl and there's a second season and she ends up with the second lead... Too much drama within these boy's friendship just for one of them to actually get the girl, granted the second lead deserved her way more but I just didn't ship her with either of them
Overall plot was flat and disappointing, romance was dull and had a love triangle so double dull, the ending sucked.

Poor exceustion
I don't think I've ever seen a drama focus on weight issues that women go through on both sides of the spectrum; fat or thin; I think could've been a decent story but it was just done in a way that halfway through, you're just finishing to finish, which is what I felt. I didn't see any chemistry with the leads, I actually skipped a few interactions because I found them to be stiff and unnatural around each other.I don't like the secondary couple, I wasn't rooting for them. They offered no reprieve from the boring main couple. I probably would've much rather see the hero's friend and that weird stalker girl relationship blossomed more than the secondary couple because at the end where they were together threw me for a loop.
Also with him being a cheobol and her being a lawyer thing was boring seeing as it really ended up being a non issue.
Them being childhood friends is such a kdrama thing to put in but again made no sense and was unnecessary

Got me into dramas
Say what you want, it was chessy, not well thought out etc but I don't care. Before this drama I tried to watch other dramas but this drama just stuck with me more than the others. I found myself having anxiety for weeks waiting for an episode to come out, went on twitter to talk and tweet about it others etc.I enjoyed every single thing about it, except the love triangle and how the second lead was treated. Even at the end the authors kept disrespecting the guy. As much as I was rooting for the first lead, i could recognize that a two year time jump and he's still in love with her and gets chosen over is such disrespect to that character. Making him long for her til the bitter end. Not saying that that the writers should've given him another love interest because that would've been a cop out, but I'm saying that the writers should've made the seconds leads feelings dwindle a bit.
Also secondary couple was so damn cute I loved them so much

Not what I expected out of a courtroom ish drama
Truthfully I'm not exactly sure what I expected but it wasn't this. Maybe it's the high of finishing two wholesome dramas that I really liked back to back (Doom at your service and Mad for each other) and going from wholesome to intense probably wasn't the best move so maybe I might pick this up again. Regardless I found myself forcing myself to watch an episode. I think this story is objectively good and I would recommend it's just not for me.I think the acting is good, court room scences are absolutely amazing and make up for everything else I found lacking. ie. the whole back and forth with the two hero leads where one is like "is he good, corrupt, etc" that plotline was boring. I also couldn't stand the ominous of Yo-han past with Ga-on, only three episodes in so it makes sense as to why it's not being explained yet but still it bothers me because it seems like it's going to be a major plot point but I jut find myself annyoed.
Overall, decent drama just not for me
