Noh Jae Won will be added to the cast of the upcoming Daum Kakao TV drama "Once Upon a Small Town."
On August 19th, Noh Jae Won's agency Noon Company shared that rookie actor Noh Jae Won will be starring in the upcoming Daum Kakao TV original series "Once Upon a Small Town." He will play the role of Yoon Geun Mo, a policeman at the Heedong Village.
"Once Upon a Small Town" is a romantic comedy drama that revolves around Ahn Ja Young, a native of the Heedong Village and a native veterinarian named Han Ji Yul whose goal is to escape the rural village as soon as possible.
The series will be the latest work of director Kwon Seok Jang ("Bossam: Steal the Fate," "Avengers Social Club," and "Pasta").
Noh Jae Won's character Yoon Geun Mo will showcase a passionate but naive personality. He doesn't have any wits or tricks.
"Once Upon a Small Town" will premiere on September 5th. It will exclusively be available on the OTT platform, Daum Kakao TV. The drama will have a total of 12 episodes with 30 minutes duration each.
The series will be led by Joy, Choo Young Woo, Baek Sung Chul, Ha Yul Ri, Jung Suk Yong, and Baek Ji Won.
"Once Upon a Small Town" will be added to the list of Daum Kakao TV's original dramas. Other dramas that premiered on the platform were "Mad for Each Other," "Love Revolution," "Shadow Beauty," "Lovestruck in the City," "The Great Shaman Ga Doo Shim," and more.
This will be the first ever drama that Noh Jae Won will star in. The rookie actor has starred in several independent short films. He also made his movie debut in the film "Missing Yoon" together with Lee Joo Young, Oh Min Ae, and Kim Jae Hwa.
