"Strong Girl Namsoon" Reveals Colorful Character Posters for its 5 Main Characters!

JTBC's new Saturday-Sunday drama Strong Girl Namsoon, written by Baek Mi Kyung and directed by Kim Jung Shik, is a crime-comedy drama that revolves around three generations of women born with extraordinary super strength who uncover the truth behind a new drug-related crime occurring in Gangnam.

Lee You Mi takes on the role of Kang Nam Soon, the vivacious and mischievous owner of supernatural strength who flew in from Mongolia in search of her parents. Kim Jung Eun portrays Hwang Geum Joo, a justice-driven Gangnam chaebol mother. Kim Hae Sook plays Gil Joong Gan, Kang Nam Soon's grandmother from the neighborhood of Majangdong. Ong Seong Wu is Kang Hee Shik, the youngest police officer at the Kangnam Han River Police Station, who is a man of both brawn and brains. Byeon Woo Seok portrays Ryu Shi Oh, the villainous CEO of the distribution and sales company "Dugo" who harbors ambitious plans beyond imagination. The story revolves around the heroic mother-daughter duo, a dedicated detective, and the intriguing battle against the heinous new drug-related crime.

The recently released character posters heighten curiosity about the fierce confrontations between these extraordinary individuals from the very beginning. First, the image of Kang Nam Soon (Lee You Mi), who effortlessly demonstrates her incredible "strength" with a casual punch, captures attention. She may be a petite woman, but her ability to shatter anything with a single blow makes her the strong girl Kang Nam Soon. Her spirited performance promises to be as refreshing as a cold soda.

Next, Hwang Geum Joo (Kim Jung Eun) exudes "speed" as her hair flies in the wind. Her transformation into "Batgirl" as she races to save the world is highly anticipated. Gil Joong Gan (Kim Hae Sook), with an extraordinary aura and the power to crush even rocks with her bare hands, adds another mystery to the story.

Detective Kang Hee Shik (Ong Seong Wu), in contrast to the spirited mother-daughter duo, exudes a softer and more earnest vibe, raising questions about how his efforts will shine through with dedication and passion. On the other hand, Ryu Shi Oh (Byeon Woo Seok) emanates a powerful force ready to confront them all. Curiosity is piqued about how his dangerous ambitions to bring darkness to the world will affect the three generations.
