The teaser posters for the upcoming KBS drama My Lovely Boxer, Kwon Sook have been unveiled.
My Lovely Boxer, Kwon Sook is based on the novel "Sunjeongbokseo Ikwonsuk" by Choo Jong Nam, which won second prize at the Kyobo Book Centre Story Contest. The story revolves around the genius boxer Lee Kwon Sook (Kim So Hye) and cold-blooded sports agent Kim Tae Young (Lee Sang Yeob).
The newly-unveiled teaser posters of My Lovely Boxer, Kwon Sook give a glimpse into the past of Lee Kwon Sook, as a boxer.
In the first teaser poster, we see red boxing gloves, a skipping rope, and kicking pads, along with a half-eaten doughnut. Adjacent to it, a glistening gold medal symbolizes the blood, sweat, and tears she poured into her boxing career.
Another poster features Lee Kwon Sook wearing boxing shoes and sporting athletic attire. Particularly eye-catching is the image of her fist with the boxing hand wraps unraveling beneath it.
Moreover, the text, "Where did the genius boxer disappear?", heightens curiosity, insinuating a mysterious incident that led the boxing star to leave the ring.
Apart from Lee Sang Yeob and Kim So Hye, My Lovely Boxer, Kwon Sook also stars Kim Jin Woo, Park Ji Hwan, Kim Hyung Mook, and Ha Seung Ri, among others. The K-drama is helmed by Hong Eun Mi and Choi Sang Yeol, and its screenplay is penned by Kim Min Joo.
My Lovely Boxer, Kwon Sook is scheduled to premiere in August.
