BEST shows ever (from a professional watcher)

Keep in mind this list is very in depth and if you want real raw recommendations that have been articulated this is definitely it <3 . I have watched over 300 shows maybe more and truly I've seen everything. I'm pretty picky so I've complied a list of the shows that were so outstanding I have to share I get excited so I had to censor myself a little (obviously this is just my option as well). These are all genres, years, and regions just since I feel it makes a well rounded list for recommendations. I can be kind of wordy but I promise come back once you've finished everything on this list and witness the eye opening it provides (lmao).

  • A Tale of Thousand Stars

    1. A Tale of Thousand Stars

    Thai Drama - 2021, 10 episodes

    10

10/10 this is the best BL that GMMTV has made in awhile. It also is one of the only ones where they don’t have a basic engineering student plot. Granted the main character is still an engineering student. Anywho the chemistry is good and the plot is very solid. I will give GMMTV claps for this one. It was very good and worth it. (A rich boy after getting a heart transplant continues his doner’s teaching and goes to a very poor remote area. There he learns the meaning of life and makes amazing connections along the way. )

  • Abyss

    2. Abyss

    Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes

    9.0

9/10 this show surpassed me so much. I started it many times before and don't know why I didn't finish it. The premise was really cute and the actors' chemistry was great. Not to mention the male lead holy quack he was hot as booty. Like one of the most attractive actors. Anywho the story line was very unique which was refreshing to have because it had the right balance of drama, fantasy, and comedy. ( An ugly man gets hit by a spirit who gives him an orb called the abyss. When he reveals his shoulder he is attractive. The abyss can revive people and he goes about navigating how to use it while trying to catch a serial killer.)

  • Because This is My First Life

    3. Because This is My First Life

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    10

1000/10 this show slaps and was one of my first dramas and it slaps soooo hard (about strangers that live together)

  • Black

    4. Black

    Korean Drama - 2017, 18 episodes

10/10 holy quack this made me cry my god this one is sad be careful ( a grim reaper that falls in love with a human)

  • Blueming

    5. Blueming

    Korean Drama - 2022, 11 episodes

    10

inifinity/10 WHAT CRACK ARE THESE KOREAN GAY SHOWS SMOEKING I want some. God damn they're so good they're like buetiful and well thought out. The chemistry is insane and it's so emotional. This is one of the most beautiful shows ive watched in a while. The way he stauggles with his looks and body is just so relatable and touches a string in my heart. Not to mention their relationship is the most gorgeous thing I can't even explain it. (two kids who go to college one who feels he needs to be perfect and does so through a strenuous routine and the other who sees him for who he truly is. They work on a short film together and gain feelings.)

  • Boys Over Flowers

    6. Boys Over Flowers

    Korean Drama - 2009, 25 episodes

    8.5

8.5/10 this is a really good classic Kdrama. It has some basic romance and the comedy is pretty good. The looks are very outdated and don’t do the actors good looks justice but it was like 2012. The only reason it did not get a 9 is because of personal preference. There are 25 episodes an hour each and that’s pretty long and long shows like this give me a ton of anxiety so I had to skip a bunch other than that it is a very good romance. (A man's guy from a very rich family who is in a group called F4 meets a poor laundry girl with spunk and she tries to find the difference between her husband and soulmate.)

  • Brave Citizen

    7. Brave Citizen

    Korean Movie - 2023

    9.0

9/10 I usually don't go to action shows but for whatever reason this show was so good. The premise was amazing, the actors were just insane and I really enjoyed the short spurt of justice it had. Honestly I would have loved to watch this as a show. I feel like it would do really well especially if they threw some violence in there. This is a total recommendation. ( A temporary teacher is employed at a school with massive abuse and bullying. She manages to find a way to put an end to the corrupt system, through a cat mask…)

  • Bromance

    8. Bromance

    Taiwanese Drama - 2015, 18 episodes

    10

infinity/10 I had no idea I was going to love this show so much. I only wanted to watch it because I was bored but the storyline is so good and unique. The actors also did an amazing job portraying a connection. I can’t remember the last time I outwardly giggled at a show. It is just too adorable. The facial expressions and comedy are on point as well. It’s not really meant to tug at the heart strings but it is such a good show to watch. The only thing I have to say is new kdrama watchers will probably not like this because it’s a traditional Chinese drama. (A girl that is raised as a boy because of superstition meets a man and they become brothers but maybe more)

  • Cherry Magic Thailand

    9. Cherry Magic Thailand

    Thai Drama - 2023, 12 episodes

It's pretty much the same as the original but it is well done. Im not much for remakes and this was one I took the time to stop and watch completely through. Its nice if you know and like the Thai actors cause you can see some of your favs.

  • Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!: The Movie

10/10 THEY WERE SO CUTE. I love that this was based off of a manga because the acting is more animated and exaggerated. It's adorable. The main couple did not really kiss but for not kissing their chemistry was pretty good. The story was also not too long and the episodes were just the right amount. I really enjoyed this and it did make me cry happy in the end. (A 30 year old virgin discovers that the myth about gaining magic on your 30th birthday is true and ends up reading some thoughts he wishes he had not. Thankfully it leads to a blooming relationship with a coworker.)

  • Coffee Prince

    11. Coffee Prince

    Korean Drama - 2007, 17 episodes

    10

10/10 I love shows with this premise. Also having old kdramas is just so fun because they’re less conservative and a little more pg13 which is nice. Overall the filming is so funny and I love the style. This show is lighthearted and made me laugh a lot. Has great actors(the main actor in goblin) overall a great show and it’s just a super unserious fun binge watch. The chemistry between the characters is great and I love the idea of a strong genderless main character. I think it’s super great. I overall just had a very fun time watching the show. (A girl who looks like a boy meets a guy who pays her to be his fake bf to get rid of blind dates. He starts a coffee shop and hires this guy but ends up falling in love for her not knowing she’s a girl. )

  • Color Rush

    12. Color Rush

    Korean Drama - 2020, 8 episodes

    10

10/10 I knew this show was going to be good just by the storyline. It is such a clever and unique idea and was just waiting to be turned into a show. The acting is pretty solid for such a short show tho. I would have loved to have more of the show and maybe go into depth about the mother and had more time with the couple. I honestly don’t know why they made it so short they could have totally had a super popular show if they made it a bit longer. Other than that it was a phenomenal idea. (A boy that can’t see color meets his probe which if he looks at his face he can see color)

  • Daily Dose of Sunshine

    13. Daily Dose of Sunshine

    Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes

    9.0

9/10 this show was super sweet. The mental illness was a little dramatized but I think they represented it ok. The premise is super interesting and is for a very nice story. Especially since the length was just right. If it had been any longer it would be too much. The main character did a phenomenal job acting. She is incredible. It's overall a very good show and a quick watch. ( a nurse that works in the psych ward battles her own mental health all while trying to do her job)

  • DoDoSolSolLaLaSol

    14. DoDoSolSolLaLaSol

    Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes

    9.0

9/10 WHAT. THE. QUACK.. This has the most god damn twist I have ever encountered. I was surprised and got off my seat more than 20 times in the whole show. I ALSO DID NOT EXPECT IT TO BE SO SAD.  everything else was tied together perfectly. The chemistry was on point and the story was cute. I finished in 3 days. I was so invested. But it did make me bawl and I 100% did not see that sad twist coming. Also the ending got my brain quacked up. (When a rich pianist suddenly becomes poor with the death of her father. She must find a way to survive and meets a hardworking guy who lends her money along the way.)

  • Doona!

    15. Doona!

    Korean Drama - 2023, 9 episodes

    10

10/10 Wow okay uhhhh that was really qucking sad. I knew this show was good and ive been having a hard time finding shows I like but for whatever reason this show really touched me. It's the first show that made my heart hurt, in a long time. The cinematography was amazing and the story line like brought me to tears. I didn't completely cry but it had my heart hurting a bit. The ending also reminded me of banana fish, not as sad fs but like same vibes. You couldn't tell whether or not they ended up together and assumed they moved on. Aw damn. ( A singer who is shunned from her company and taking a break meets a man who moves in next stairs that she instantly attaches to. He also finds himself really caring for her and they're forced to face the up and downs of fame.)

  • Een goede dag om een hond te zijn

    16. Een goede dag om een hond te zijn

    Korean Drama - 2023, 14 episodes

    9.0

9/10 you really can't go wrong with dramas based off webtoons. They are always so unique and it makes them super special. This had two of my favorite actors and as always they played the characters perfectly. The show is one of th better ones ive seen and its just so cute and aesthetically pleasing. I will say the ending gets a tad boring but most dramas really aren't able to capture you all the way to the end which is okay. (A teacher who is cursed to turn into a dog whenever she kisses someone outs herself in a predicament where shes kissed her coworker whose afraid of dogs. She has little time to lift the curse and they both navigate their relationship.)

  • Extracurricular

    17. Extracurricular

    Korean Drama - 2020, 10 episodes

    10

12/10 this was very impressive the acting was itaewon class level. It was not a cheesy romance or something simple and sweet. This was a super hardcore bloody and bittersweet show. It also is so poetic and meaningful if you look into it. For some reason it gives me itaewon class vibes not the story but just vibes in general but more hardcore. (A boy that wants a normal life so needing money he invests in an illegal business. Everything is going well until he meets a girl who goes to his school.)

  • Frightening Cohabitation

    18. Frightening Cohabitation

    Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes

    10

10/10 such a good rom com show. I tried to watch it originally and for some reason just couldn’t get into it but i was binging these full episodes. The actors had great chemistry and the premise was so cute. It didn’t have me screaming and kicking my legs super hard and i didn’t want to watch it all at once but it was super good. For such a light show they had the right amount of angst but not too much it was no queen of tears. Everything about the ending was perfect and overall it was just such a cute and amazing lighthearted show to watch. (A gumiho who has closed his heart and is nearing his 1000 years meets a women who due to unforeseen circumstances he is forced to live with. Discovering that she is more interesting than he thought.)

  • Haar Privéleven

    19. Haar Privéleven

    Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes

    10

10/10 god this was good. Netflix done well. The story is developed well and the overall relationships are accurate and mature. The onscreen cast also has some of the best chemistry and the casting could not have been more perfect. (An artist who has lost the ability to paint meets a museum curator. When their two lives are meshed together they are forced to coexist.)

  • He is Psychometric

    20. He is Psychometric

    Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes

    9.0

9/10 okay so really really good show. It was pretty amazing the actors were super fun and it was a good crime and action romance that had a good supernatural sort of hint to it. I liked that and it was so fun and dramatic to watch. I was really into the show until around the end of it. They kinda get the watcher lost in the details and i don’t feel like they spend enough time building up the ending in order to really pull you in. So it fizzes out pretty quick. I don’t know if it was its because it’s a long show and i was done watching it but i stopped at like episode 14 bc i could predict the ending and just was not really into it. (A guy who is product of a tragic fire where he loses his parents can read the memory’s of someone by touching them is introduced to the detective world.)

  • HIStory3: Make Our Days Count

    21. HIStory3: Make Our Days Count

    Taiwanese Special - 2019, 20 episodes

    9.0

?9/10 this was such a good and under rated bl. I had no idea it was going to be sad but it is the saddest I have ever watched. It is so sad that it has literally shattered my hopes and desires of ever wanting a relationship. What the fuck even is the ending. With that being said I am writing this in my bathroom with tears in my eyes and I do admit it is funny and cute. The acting is so great and the writing is amazing. I would give it a ten but the ending is so sad and unexceptional. Why did they even have to do that? They were so happy. The whole story of them getting together and in the end what happened. I got incredibly attached to the characters too. So congrats writers you broke me into 1000000 pieces. (A boy who falls for a student that he used to beat up and bully.)

  • Hotel del Luna

    22. Hotel del Luna

    Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes

    10

10/10 This is a show I expected to be very good. It lived up to my expectations and I am very happy. It is a good structured drama. Not one of my favorites but the casting is good and the acting is well executed. (A man is sworn to work at a hotel for ghost. He is given the ability to see them and starts his job. A while dealing with the hardcore boss.)

  • I Feel You Linger in the Air

    23. I Feel You Linger in the Air

    Thai Drama - 2023, 12 episodes

    9.0

9/10 I like sort of getting the hype. The special part about this show is the unbelievably unique storyline which I agree is really cool and well thought out. I think a better twist would be if yai got to go to modern day and then they had to be sent back but i did really like it there are just so many unnecessary  scenes that pause for way too long. But the chemistry and story line is golden in this show and I would say it’s probably a must watch. (A heartbroken man gets sent back in time to Chiang Mai where he becomes a servant for a wealthy son.)

  • Introverted Boss

    24. Introverted Boss

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    10

10000/10 loooove the pure baby and this is on top with my fav shows of all time (a really shy boss who has trauma meets and outgoing co worker)

  • It's Okay to Not Be Okay

    25. It's Okay to Not Be Okay

    Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes

    10

inifinity/10 I- wow. This was so good. Thoughts gone head empty. The cast was the best possible cast ever. They all suited their characters and did more than amazing acting. Everybody is so goddamn good looking. The story is such a unique plot I have never heard of it and the directors executed it beautifully. The ending was perfect and I can’t stress how amazing the cast was for these people. I had already heard it was good but it beyond exceeded my expectations. One of my all time favs I highly highly recommend. (A antisocial author who writes cryptic children’s books finds an old friend from her past, a caregiver with a severely autistic brother who suppressed his emotion. They say that people come into your life when you need it most. Is that the case for this group of three.)

  • It's Okay, That's Love

    26. It's Okay, That's Love

    Korean Drama - 2014, 16 episodes

    9.5

9.5/10 I actually really enjoyed this. I’m in love with the chem of the main actors that’s honestly the peak of the show. The main male actor is addicting and his acting is fantastic. The show is a good mix of comedy and some pretty heavy topics. I did get a little bored halfway through since I felt like the couple got together a little too early but they redeemed themselves and the end of the show was done very well. Overall it was super cute and emotional I thought the premise really warmed my heart and it is definitely an above average drama. (A famous author meets a psychiatrist at a hospital whom don’t get along originally but ultimately have to start living together.)

  • Itaewon Class

    27. Itaewon Class

    Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes

    10

infinity/10 this shows script is the best I have ever seen. The character development is the best I have ever seen. And the all round message. The show made me cry, laugh and smile. It ended on a perfect note and I high recommend it to old watchers and new watchers and all. I can’t begin to describe how good this show is. It’s soooo amazing i don’t even know what to say. I will say that the characters are soooo well done. The way they developed and changed over the show is amazing. The actors did such a great job. The show is totally worth the hype. As a matter a fact I loved it so much it made me change one of my fav shows to a 9.5 rating. (I still love this show more than anything and it my fav show of all time and it will remain that for a while probably)

  • Kimi ni wa Todokanai

    28. Kimi ni wa Todokanai

    Japanese Drama - 2023, 8 episodes

    10

10/10 OMGGGGGGGGGG WTF NETFLIX ON CRACK. This was a Netflix original that had just come out and I totally didn't expect them to do this like omg. This show was so cute I wanted more. It needed to be longer wtf is it with these goddamn gay shows being so short  LIKE QUACKING GIVE ME MORE THIS COUPLE IS CUTE. (Two childhood friends one has had unrequited love his whole life and the other just discovers his feelings. They both have to navigate how they feel and what they'll do with it.)

  • Kobold

    29. Kobold

    Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes

    10

15/10 this lives up to its rating and name it was just a phenomenal drama. The idea of it was extremely original and kept the watcher listening. The ending was not super cheesy and was unepected. Everything about it is beyond amazing. The acting is some of my favorites. I hope they won awards for it because I was thoroughly impressed with the actors and how original this show is. (A girl that was not supposed to be born is born with the fate of the goblins bridge. She can see ghosts and has a tough life without her mother. She meets the goblin and has to be the one to pull the sword out of his chest and release his sins.)

  • Love to Hate You

    30. Love to Hate You

    Korean Drama - 2023, 10 episodes

    10

10/10 this was a new show I decided to watch. It was super cute and the strong female lead was something that you don’t often see in Asian dramas. The chemistry between the two is amazing and the characters were overall very funny.(a strong female lawyer meets a actor who is wary about women. They teach each other different virtues and overall change each others opinions.)

  • Lovely Runner

    31. Lovely Runner

    Korean Drama - 2024, 16 episodes

    10

♾️/10 ACHABAIWHAUAHA it’s about time i got a new favorite all time show. The sheer beauty in this show is astounding the amount it’s set up and the acting is TOP TEIR. LIKE TOP. I can get over these characters who have the most wonderful growth and emotion throughout them. The storyline is crazy good with so many well thought out plots that unravel perfectly. The relationships are well thought out and make you cry laugh and get angry just the right amount. Not to mention hot quacking darn I am OBSESSED with this main male and female lead. They are a match actually made in heaven and i want to see them so bad again in other shit. I can’t even describe how well made this show is. If you’re first getting into kdramas this should be the first show you watch ever cause i can’t even begin to describe the meaningful relationships it holds. Everything about it is a new level of beauty. (A girl who’s favorite kpop star kills himself she transports back in time to be able to save him to when they are still in highschool.)

  • Lovers

    32. Lovers

    Korean Drama - 2023, 10 episodes

    ... hold on haven't finished 0_o

  • Luo Yao Knew What He Meant

    33. Luo Yao Knew What He Meant

    Chinese Drama - 2023, 24 episodes

    10

♾️/10 OH MY GOD????. Sometimes there are the coming of age shows that just are the most beautiful things i have ever watched. The concept of filming your life and the friendships that stayed throughout this show. Make me wanna sob bc it’s so cute and wholesome and amazing. This show reminded me of my highschool years and how special i was to meet the people I did. I feel so happy and great full for the experiences i had. I can’t describe how astounding this show was and i think it was one of the best coming of age shows i ever had watched. The progression of the main couple reminded me of love in itself and i and it made me break down crying. This is not just a fav but is in my must watch. (A young girl meets a guy and in this coming of age they move through like together.)

  • Marry My Husband

    34. Marry My Husband

    Korean Drama - 2024, 16 episodes

    10

10/10 The show was so well done and great. The actors were an amazing choice and their acting was phenomenal. This story line has action and also romance which i feel like is what makes it so special. It’s got a little thrill to it but also is super sweet and funny at times. They also make a bts reference yipeeee. On top of the that the main characters act so well together and that’s where i feel like the show shines is how well the acting is portrayed. This is a great example of a perfect cast for these roles. (A women who is married to an abusive man gets killed by him and it turns out she wakes up 10 years in the past before their married and has to figure out how to work around keeping herself healthy and changing her fate.)

  • Memories of the Alhambra

    35. Memories of the Alhambra

    Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes

    9.0

9/10 wow okay so there is a lot to unpack here. This is a very intricate and complicated show. The premise is super unique and very obviously well thought out which makes sense because it’s the producers of the W and that has the same feel with the alternating worlds. I love how unique it is the main actors do the show absolute justice and honestly I don’t have a ton of complaints it was pretty decent just not my favorite for no reason. The ending could be considered a cliff hanger but also i feel as though it was intended to just be open for interpretation and that’s honestly fine cause you want to avoid an unnecessary second season. ( A businessman comes across a games that intertwines reality which he had to figure out when he blurs those two lines. with the help of the missing game developers sister.)

  • Move to Heaven

    36. Move to Heaven

    Korean Drama - 2021, 10 episodes

    10

100/10 I always do this but I started this show as a placeholder cause I saw it was new on Netflix and ended up loving it. It has one of my favorite actors and his duality is killer. The acting itself is beyond phenomenal. The story line is also one of the best that I have ever come across and it deserves so much more hype. Everything about it is so amazing and I’m pretty sure I cried around 5 times watching it. Although that’s the case the ending is a bit confusing. I am stuck between thinking if there is gonna be a second season or not. I'm pretty sure it’s one of those situations that if the show does well they will have another season. (A boy with autism who works at a trauma cleaning business loses his father and has to learn to live with his new hard core uncle.)

  • Mr. Sunshine

    37. Mr. Sunshine

    Korean Drama - 2018, 24 episodes

    9.0

9/10 the writing is amazing and so is the filming but the ending absolutely shattered and damaged me ( I will never be the same again I cried for a week after this show)

  • My Holo Love

    38. My Holo Love

    Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes

    10

100/10 up there with my favorites the idea is so clever and it is so well filmed (a hologram that learns love and teaches the creator as well)

  • Ni Ye You Jin Tian

    39. Ni Ye You Jin Tian

    Chinese Drama - 2024, 36 episodes

    9.5

9.5/10 wowwwww this show was so cute. Despite it being long they actually did a good job at keeping it interesting by having multiple revolving plot points. The relationships are the highlight of this show and the main ml is sooooo quacking cute i’m obsessed with him. I love the romance in this show and even though the plot was cliche it still was executed in a way that made the acting interesting and the show overall lighthearted and fun to watch. I will say towards the end it got a little annoying since the fl just was making up weird reasons to be mad at the ml and i didn’t like that relationship dispute since i thought it was unnecessary and annoying. (A lawyer moved into a house when she discovers another man is living there. It turns out to be her boss and they have to navigate their feelings because of this.)

  • Noodlanding op jou

    40. Noodlanding op jou

    Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes

    9.5

9.5/10 this might be my favorite of all time(not anymore after I watched itaewon class) it is just amazing and adorable it is so iconic it can turn anyone into a kdrama fan( I actually went back and changed the rating a while after I watched and this is because I respect  the filming and script but it is a basic love story and I am watching itaewon class and realizing that I don’t really like the Americanized kdramas. It’s still really good tho and I would highly recommend it but it drops down from my favorites list.)

  • Not Me

    41. Not Me

    Thai Drama - 2021, 14 episodes

    9.5

9.5/10 I have no qucking clue if i watched this before. Something super embarrassing is i might have watched this show forgotten i watched it and then watched it again. So if i get diagnosed with early alzheimer’s i told ya so. I originally had this show just in my normal list but the more i thought ab it i actually love it. Honestly though this show is beautiful. The cinematography is some of the best i’ve seen in a bit. The characters always are insane at acting and have i think some of the top chemistry either. The story line has romance edge action literally everything you want it’s amazing. It’s the first show in a long time i had to fast forward really fast bc i was so into it it made me anxious. So it’s an amazing show. (White discovers his twin who he was separated with when he was little is in a coma. Because of that he takes his place in the gang he’s in despite having an easygoing life. )

  • Oh My Ghostess

    42. Oh My Ghostess

    Korean Drama - 2015, 16 episodes

    9.0

9/10 this show is just so cute and has the right amount of plot it is definitely a recommendation for a first time kdrama watcher

  • Oh My Venus

    43. Oh My Venus

    Korean Drama - 2015, 16 episodes

    10

10/10  this totally live up to its name. I fell in LOVE with this male lead he is good looking funny and not too needy or sweet it’s perfect. The main characters are great and the friendships are even better in this show. I feel like it was very fast since the time line is a tiny bit strange but the premise is cute and they overall did the show very well. It’s was super entertaining to watch and does hold a place with sort of the best it just wasn’t a masterpiece. Although it was a good show to watch as a place holder or something cute. (A girl who used to be her towns princess gains a lot of weight throughout law school until she meets a trainer who helps her lose weight and they fall in love.)

  • Onmyoji

    44. Onmyoji

    Chinese Movie - 2021

10/10 I did not expect this to be good I just watched it because it was new on Netflix. Holy quck it is some of the best cinematography I have seen this year. I don’t know what their budget was but the visuals are beautiful. As well as the story it is incredibly touching and the fight scenes are so well done. It is an amazing movie. (A student becomes the Yin Yang master after his master dies and has to save the world from the evil serpent. Along with his friend Boya)

10/10  where in hell is the hype around there show. I didn’t even know it existed and it’s the sweetest most emotional gem. The story line is beyond unique and even in the places it’s cliche the acting makes up for it since the chemistry is crazy. All the characters have great comedic relief and if anything i would have love to have one more episode wrapping up the ending more. The cinematography and the storyline is wonderful it’s so poetic and I teared up a ton during it. It’s an amazing and emotion invoking show. (A women from the josean era is sent to the future where she meets someone who looks exactly like her husband but isn’t. He’s a wealthy businessman who is known to be cold with a secret heart problem. Just like her past husband.)

10/10 this show was really good for being Netflix. I will give it to them. They are crushing it with the dramas. The actors were very well casted. They were not phenomenal but this was not really a super dramatic show. I really enjoyed the lesson it has and I am somewhat okay with the ending. I think it is super good. I did skip a bit through the last parts because my anxiety got too bad and the ending episodes were so intense. Other than that it is a solid 10 but not really anything more. (A model that wants to be an actor finally is able to find his way and succeed. With a little bit of a messed up family situation and the influence of a makeup artist and friends he finds his way)

10/10 “unwanted love is the same as violence” I expected this show to be good because of all the ratings. There were a lot of aspects I liked and it had a quacking ace character which is sm you never see. Not to mention a gay character. The whole show has a good premise and is all around interesting. It got a little slow in the end but what Kdrama doesn’t. (A translator meets a runner who she ends up taking a job for. They have to deal with the ups and downs of a “rich” and poor lifestyle. Along with friends and family who follow behind them.)

10000/10 DKJFJBEBJHFEJBEFWKBJFWEBJKFEWBJK WTF like this show was so sweet and im punching the wall at the fact that it was so short. I want more it was cute and the characters were perfect and HOTN KDWN GOD DAWM. I can't even describe to you how cute this was the only thing that would make it a little better would be if there was some edge to it. Like he was absued or had a sick grandma something a little less rated G. AND I WANT MORE. (A boy who is cold and has a hard time with his emotions gets a freeloader expelled for not doing his work. This freeloader then decides to go after him and eventually they end up working on a game together.)

100/10 OMGGGGGGGG this was actually so amazing it was the first drama to make me really laugh out loud in a long time. The premise was so unique and cute and all the actors had insane chemistry. I love everything about it. I do wish there was some more fan service or kissing but other than that I literally finished this drama in less than a week it was so unbelievably good. I think this main actor is going to be one of my favorites he was so cute and I loved his energy and vibe. ( A PR agent who manages at a top company takes care of the worlds biggest celebrity, she has her reservations about him and history but ultimately their feelings start to develop.)

    8.5

8.5/10 honestly this show is great. It has a good premise that involves action romance and drama. There are great twists that shocked me and were fun to witness. All the acting is amazing. I feel like where it shines though is the storyline and the chemistry between the actors is amazing. They really are such a sweet relationship and the end made me tear up a bit. I think personally i fast forward a lot just bc i have a hard time focusing so this show is really good and interesting. It’s just a lot to take in and very complicated. (A tech guy meets a girl who has traveled back from the future to save him. In doing that she must keep him from creating a time machine. )

  • Sotus

10/10 the main character chem is really good and I think this is the first BL that has respectful girl characters. The idea is super cute and the characters are just really relatable and funny. Off is just a straight comedian I am convinced he was not acting and that was just himself. The whole show is so wholesome and funny to watch. It lives up to its name and is definitely up there on the BL chart. I do think that it is a BL that everybody needs to watch. It leaves a lot of things open and the couples kinda took a long time but I do think they were planning a sequel from the very start. So that makes sense. ( a new engineering student has to go through the hazing rituals they have for freshmen. They tend to be very harsh and he has a run in with the head hazer. He ends up catching feelings for the head hazer and stars to go after him.)

10/10 After actually finishing the show I am fully satisfied with the ending. This was such a touching show and in ways it gave me itaewon class vibes with all the business. The ending was so hearth warming. ( A girl that has a divorced family wants to achieve the success that her sister has. To do that she meets up with her old pen pal and first love. It turns out there is more to the story. Her pen pal is a boy that her grandma asked to write to when they were younger. Together, the man who is pretending to be her pen pal appoints her CEO and they start a company.)

inifinity/10 This was a Thai BL drama and I don’t usually watch those but it was so amazing. This drama is at the top of the list for dramas that made me cry too hard. The acting is unreal and the story line warms my heart so much. I am going to get addicted to these types of dramas. The idea of the story is so smart and it adds so much to the characters. This show is good but it made me cry way too goddamn hard.

10/10 awwwwwwwww eeeeeee wtf I just think these shows are so sweet and it's so refreshing to see them. I liked this one a lot. The chemistry was insane and the characters were I think some of my favorites that have ever been in a show. The reason I didn't write this off as a favorite was just because I feel like the charm is the short episodes so you don't lose interest and these were just a little long so I found myself skipping a little bit. (A freshman in college meets a traumatized senior, they become friends and he joins the surf club with him. They have this undeniable connection and just can't seem to stay away from each other.)

100/10 HOLY QUACK THIS WAS GOOD. The casting is the best I have ever seen. The acting is amazing, it needs soooo many awards. The story line is unique and not bland at all; it flows perfectly. Not to mention the character development is not boring or too cheesy. Everything about this drama is pretty perfect and this is an amazing find. Even my mom liked it and watched the first episodes with me. I think there might be another season because the way it ended we will see. (A nine tailed fox that is waiting for his dead live meets the reincarnated version of her. This woman is looking for her parents who went missing. She is more attached to the non human world than he thinks.)

10/10 this show is one of the quacking funniest I have ever watched. The casting is hilarious and all of the actors have amazing chemistry. The little references are sooo cute and I love everything about it. The story line is not boring and it is cliche but they execute it perfectly. (Two best friends that live next to each other meet up again. They move in together and go to the same university until one realizes his friend has had feelings all along.)

♾️/10 …wow omg i can’t even figure out what to say about this show. Seeing it rated so high on drama list i doubted how good it could possibly be but i was blown out of the water. It had everything in the best possible way. Drama action love music LITERALLY EVERYTHING. The way they portrayed the relationships in this show is the best i think i’ve ever seen. They made me feel so happy and it was just overall a crazy good show to watch. The ending and a lot of scenes made me cry because of how emotional the characters were. This is beyond a must watch and is astounding. (A kid who has deaf parents and a deaf brother gets into music when he disagrees with his dad over it. He time travels back to 1995 and joins a band with his dad to help him grow)

15/10 this is another review that I am writing in my bathroom sobbing. It’s a good cry though and a happy ending. The idea is so great and perfectly executed. The actors are great as well. I love and ship the couples. It's just a great BL. The more I watch it the more I fall in love with it. It is some of the best chemistry and acting I have seen in a Thai BL. It also has the best kiss ever everything ab it is amazing. (Two boys that love each other are not able to be with each other and meet a Gavin fate together. When they are reborn they are tasked to find each other with fragments that they remember from their past lives)

10/10 wowza emotional. I love this show because i feel like it plays with your emotions and also I just think the casting is absolutely perfect which completely makes the show. The chem they all have with each other and timing is amazing. Not to mention the motifs throughout the storyline and the overall message of this show is truly valuable and I like that about it. It’s a well rounded adult show that would be good to watch when you want something really serious and emotional. (A rich women who married a lawyer has issues with her marriage. The man is very unhappy and she is just apathetic. They have to figure out how to get over it and work together.)

♾️/10 This show is on another level holy shit it’s a qucking masterpiece. Everything ab it is phenomenal. The acting is insane and i would give these guys like ten oscar’s. The character and storyline development is made by a genius and it brings out the wholesome sweet parts of the characters but watching them get stronger is so fun. The way they do relationships is the best i’ve seen in any show ever. It helps you convection and is the sweetest best part of this show. The romance is pure and done so well it’s a slow burn but is not annoying because they portray the connection between the two love interests perfectly. It has drama action angst love literally fucking everything. The comedy in this show is top tier and their timing for it is off the charts. If you watch asian dramas this show needs to be shoved up your booty whether you like it or not because you can’t skip over it. (An Italian mob lawyer flys back to korea to help find gold that he’s entitled to when he gets roped into helping take down a large scale corrupt company.)

20/10 this is such an unproblematic cute show and that’s why I love it so much. It’s really good to watch if you want something that is not intense. It’s got great actors that just bring a good light hearted comedy to it. (When the secretary of a vice chairman of a company says she is going to quit after 9 years the vice chairman is forced to reevaluate his feelings and emotions towards her. )

10/10 Wow that really lived up to its expectations.  I think where this show shines is its relationships it develops over time. The friendships that are established are some of the most developed i’ve seen in a show. The actors are beyond crazy as well as overall the show being a good message for bullying. It made me CRY i haven’t cried at a show like that in awhile. I wasn’t my favorite on the planet because i wish there was a little more substance to it. Other than that it’s a must watch and I would love to see a second season that goes deeper into the relationships. (An emotionless kid fights against bully’s by using his head. Until he meets new friends he’s never had before.)

9/10 this show caught me off guard. I tried to start it multiple times and just couldn't get behind it. Although for whatever reason I started it this time and loved it. I would have put it in the favorites but just towards the end it got a little boring, there was a lot of fluff. I also loved the actors' chemistry ; it just wasn't above and beyond. They are okay. Also like stfu don't just the law like bro I get that Korea is all about trusting the government but b sooooooooooo ff. ( A prosecutor meets a reporter that can tell the future through her dreams. He starts to see the future as well and they navigate through the connection they have from the past. Eventually using it to uncover the truth about a serial killer.)

10/10 I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA HATE THIS SHOW. It’s the guy from Sotus and I actually really like the actor so I was super surprised. The premise was also soooo smart and kept things interesting pretty much throughout the show. The main actor plays cute so well and he’s so bubbly in a non cringey way which is nice. The chem and the characters and everything ab it was just so great and a super fun show to watch. (a guy travels back in time with a magic globe to impress a girl he likes and keep her supposed future husband away. Eventually rekindling feelings with the husband instead.)
