i don't have as much time as i'd like to watch tv/films in general. if i watch something that can be logged on here its usually a random japanese or hong kong movie from before 2000. i do really want to start watching dramas more regularly though.

i enjoy watching 1990s japanese dramas in particular, not really into kdramas. i find it easiest to watch "bl" shows but if the overall production (editing, screenplay, acting) is just terrible (which has been the case in many of those shows) i won't waste too much of my time on them. most of my 'dropped' series are bl series.

 i would rather watch something random, old, and possibly 'mid' before i check out something that's consistently listed as a favorite. this is something i need to get over, obviously.
