1. Descendants of the Sun
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
A+
This was my first K-Drama & it is still my favorite one. Both the 1st & 2nd lead couples grabbed my heart. Their stories of them falling in love, going through storms together & finally living happily ever after were one for the books! The supporting character added charm and humor to this already perfect drama! Very few K-dramas have lived up to this one, so I always come back to watch it every year. (2018)

I miss this show! I love how light-hearted it is. I love the cast & the music.
I will always be on Suho's side, especially bc it is Cha Eun Woo playing him, but every time I come back to this drama I realize how amazing Seojin's character is. Probably bc I am started to love Hwang In Youp as an actor more & more.
Highly recommend. 8.5/10 -
30. Encounter
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
C
Finally finished this! I decided to give it another chance since I am currently watching Now, We Are Breaking Up... and that has a similar vibe to it.
Although I am a big fan of Bo Gum & Hye Kyo is one of my favorite K-Actresses, I was not sold on their love story. Yes, they had their cute moments and hot kisses, but it felt kind of meh to me. I will admit the last two eps were really good and their love seemed more believable in these episodes!
I, actually, enjoyed the love development with the second leads Dae Chan & Mi Jin way more... which is rare for me bc the main lead couples usually always have a hold on me.
I give this a 6.5/10 because the acting and OSTs were good, but not really my cup of tea. -
31. Wat is er aan de hand met secretaresse Kim?

-
34. I'm Breaking Up Now
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
C
What to even say about this drama!! This drama started off so good for me... the first 8 episodes caught my attention and were a solid 8.5/10... it started going downhill a little bit around ep 9 when they decided they wanted to get the parents involved in the relationship. Smh. I HATE that plot... like what is this Boys Over Flower. Ugh.
But even then eps 9-12 were not too bad... the sismance really showed in these episodes and distracted from the romantic aspect of the dama. I almost stopped watching in the middle of ep 13 bc it just got boring and stupid. The leads made a complete scene about supposedly breaking up and acting like they could not have a long-distance relationship.
I will give this 7.0 simply (which is generous) for the ABSOLUTELY AMAZING OSTs, introducing me to Jang Ki Yong, the sismance & the 2nd lead couples. I would not recommend it unless you are the BIGGEST FAN OF THE LEADS! Then, maybe you might be able to overlook the downhill trainwreck at the end. -
35. Familiar Wife
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
A
My first dramas with the leads & I really enjoyed this. I loved the time-travel aspect. I feel like both characters were to blame for how their original life turned out. He was selfish & she repressed her feelings until she exploded, which is not healthy. They just needed to communicate.
Anyways, the chemistry between the leads was explosive & the secondary cast really are some of my favorites... I mean they were hilarious. I really loved Seung Jo's character who was probably my favorite. The OST was amazing as well & loved the ending. 9/10 -
36. Destruction
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
A
- Seo In Guk looks so good in here. This drama made me like Bo Young again.
- I loved the supporting couple in here.
-
37. Thirty But Seventeen
Korean Drama - 2018, 32 episodes
B-
- Cute romance that had its extremely sad moments. I will say it took forever for everything to be revealed, which was a bit annoying. Loved the acting from everyone, especially one of my faves actresses Hye Sun
-
38. Office Romance Cruelty
Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes
C-
- I expect better from Park Minyoung though. Hopefully, her next drama will be amazing.
- I really should have dropped this after ep 8 bc the 2nd half of this drama was dragged out & so boring. I stopped caring about everyone in this drama.
- I will say that the only positives were the new OSTs I can add to my playlist, especially Lyn's Open Your Heart & Song Kang. Never seen him act before, but he was pretty decent in here.
-
39. A Business Proposal
Korean Drama - 2022, 12 episodes
B/B+
I was so invested in the 1st 8 episodes then I started losing interest in the last 4. Still a good-watch.
-
40. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
A
- The 'enemies to friends to lovers' troupe done absolutely right!
- The ML was adorably annoying... honestly, I need one of him rn. Just perfect.
- FL... love her so much...
- The friendship here was so cute... I really loved the bromance especially.
FINAL REVIEW
This drama is a pure serotonin boost! I was legit sad when there were no more episodes... I wish it would never end... I was pretty much smiling throughout the whole drama.
Every single one of the actors really did an amazing job. The leads are one of my favorite couples because neither one of them annoyed me. Also, they are so damn adorable together... I need to find a relationship like theirs.
The humor and friendships were also top-tier. And, I love how they tackled the obstacles the leads had to overcome.
10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. WORTH EVERY BIT OF THE HYPE IT GETS -
41. Go Back Couple
Korean Drama - 2017, 12 episodes
A
Why is this tagged as a comedy? Because this was one big cryfest & an emotional rollercoaster. I mean I was in my feelings for pretty much the whole drama. I loved the life lessons in here.
I thought I was going to get SML syndrome bc I love Jang Ki Yong & had no clue who the ML was. BUT the ML really won me over quickly!
The leads were so beyond adorable together & had such natural chemistry... I could not help but to ship them!
The ending was so satisfying! Although, I do want to know what happened to the dude w/ long hair in the future bc he was on of my faves... and what happened to Ban Do's 1st love.
Highly recommended! It gave me the same vibe I loved with the drama Familiar Wife, but more melodramish. 9/10 -
42. Shooting Star
Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes
A+
- I LOVED EVERY SINGLE THING ABOUT THIS DRAMA! It was a simple, lighthearted & fun drama! The whole cast was extremely lovable! All the couples were cute AF! I really loved Kim Young Dae's acting here! I look forward to anything else he is in! GOING TO MISS THIS SHOW SO MUCH!! 10/10
- I pretty much love everyone in this drama. The leads have so much chemistry that it is burning up my screen. And, I am interested in all of the side characters story
- I will say it has a thriller aspect to it that I was not expecting.
-
43. Tomorrow With You
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
I felt like everything could have been solved if the dad & the ML had not kept everything a secret. All they did was lie.
Despite that, I really liked this drama. The leads were so good together... their love seemed so effortless & natural. Never heard of Je Hoon before, but definitely adding him to my list to watch more things. My girl Min Ah always brings 120% in her dramas... love her so much.
Gi Doong was the dark horse character that I was not expecting to love. He was so loyal and hilarious. The bromance here was top-tier between him & the ML.
The OST was so hauntingly beautiful. My favorite has to be Seo In Guk's Flower. I am a bit biased because I love anything he does. But, I will always think of this couple every time I hear it.
Last, the time travel trope is one of my favorites & despite a couple of flaws, I feel like overall, this drama did a good job with it. 8.5/10 -
44. Why Oh Soo Jae?

45. Alchemy of Souls
Korean Drama - 2022, 20 episodes
A-
Started this for Lee Jae Wook & Jung So Min and I stayed for Hwang Min Hyun. His acting really grabbed my attention. There was no romantic chemistry between the leads more like a friendship. I thought So Min had more chemistry with Minhyun. I hope her original self has more chemistry with Uk.
Similar Korean: Bulgasal: Immortal Souls, Mirror of the Witch

46. Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
B-
The Slice of Life genre is not my type of drama to watch at all, but Min Ah was here so, I decided to give it a go. The ML was the main reason I kept going. As for my girl, this is my least favorite character she has played and there were many cringey, awkward moments, I have to say it is a good healing drama with a happy ending I needed after watching all my angst dramas. 7.5/10
-
47. DoDoSolSolLaLaSol
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Jun has to be some kind of psychopath with those last 3 episodes. How could he laugh after doing what he did? He is lucky he is hot because I would have been even more annoyed. It definitely was a rushed ending, but I enjoyed all the cute moments from before & all the supporting cast. 7.5/10
-
48. I Hear Your Voice
Korean Drama - 2013, 18 episodes
B
- Kind of slow in the first 7 episodes, but picks up in episode 8
- Low-key ship him with his classmate
- Not a fan of the SL
- The court scenes are amazing... gave me goosebumps
I watched this for Lee Jong Suk and he was the main reason that kept me here until the later episodes really caught my attention mainly eps 10-18. The acting and the plot were top-notch. It is great that in the end, everyone was so forgiving because that could not be me.
Lee Da Hee as Seo Do Yeon had the BEST character development! She low-key became my favorite character after hating her so much in the beginning. Also, I really loved Sung Bin's character because even though she loved the ML she was never malicious about it.
I really enjoyed this funny, suspenseful yet emotional ride of a drama! 8.0/10 -
49. Again My Life
Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes
B-/C+
Disappointing ending. The villain never really got what he deserved & the ending is back where we started at the beginning.
-
50. Youngest Son of a Conglomerate
Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes
8.5
I was taken back in time to the major disappointment I felt with the Game of Thrones finale. SMH. Like, I feel unsatisfied with the ending. I am questioning if I wasted my time. The writers really just did whatever with this ending. It felt so meh. I will still rate this drama an 8.5 though.
The 1st 15 episodes were so amazing. I loved the bond between Do Jin & the grandfather. I understand he was Hee Woo getting revenge via Do Jin, but he should have stayed as Do Jin because the revenge does not feel satisfying at all. This rating went from 9.5 to 8.5.
-
51. The Glory
Korean Drama - 2022, 8 episodes
[2023]
I was really looking forward to this drama and while it is good I cannot find myself fully immersed in it. I might be in a slight K-Drama runt after Reborn Rich. My girl did a great job though. I will tune in for part 2 because I need to see this revenge carried out.
-
52. King2Hearts
Korean Drama - 2012, 20 episodes
B-
I really loved the 1st 16 episodes, but I feel as though the show dragged in the last 5 episodes. Other than that, I really loved the leads. I have always known Lee Seung Gi for a while, but never really watched a drama of his all the way through, but he is fantastic. I will definitely be watching all his dramas. Ha Ji Won was a good female lead. I loved how she always believed in herself and her man until the end. Then, there is Jo Jung Suk who stole my heart. His story with the princess was so endearing and emotional.
-
53. Buitengewoon Jij
Korean Drama - 2019, 32 episodes
B-/C+
W meets True Beauty & Boys Over Flower!
So, I watched this because I wanted to watch something similar to W, but I stayed for Lee Jae Wook. I ended up loving Baek Kyung the most out of everyone despite his toxicity. Haha. I just really wanted him to be happy.
Also, Lee Do Hwa & Fairy Squid were so hilarious... loved their much-needed bromance and humor. As for Haru, I liked him at first, but he became meh after a while. I rolled my eyes every time he came on the screen. Sorry, Rowon... still love you though. Finally, the music was so amazing & already have it on my Spotify playlist.
This put me on to Jaewook... and I already watched most of his works due to this drama. 8.0/10Now ready for the finale of Alchemy of Souls part 2

54. Alchemy of Souls: Part 2
Korean Drama - 2022, 10 episodes
A-
Jang Uk & Cho Yeong had the most amazing chemistry. I loved the ending.
-
55. Vincenzo
Korean Drama - 2021, 20 episodes
A+
One of the best Korean dramas I have EVER seen! I will say if you do not like mafia-related movies or shows, THEN THIS IS NOT FOR YOU! Because Vincenzo Cassano gets down to business... he is with ALL THE SMOKE!
It needs to be known that Soong Jong ki is my favorite Korean actor. So, I expected nothing but the best from him and I got above and beyond that in his role as Vincenzo Cassano. It is probably his best and my favorite role by him! Yes... even over Reborn Rich. I love a good mafia man in a show/movie so I am not sure he can top this one, but we shall see! I have never seen Jeon Yeo Been in anything before, but I loved everything she brought to the table. What a hilarious queen! His partnership with Cha Young was so hilarious yet deadly and they have so much chemistry even though this is not really a romance. Also, I love the ragtag family team who always helps + supports him no matter what.
As for my 2PM bias TaecYeon, I had to keep reminding myself I absolutely love him because this charismatic yet psychotic role he played was played TOO brilliantly. He is really a great actor! I will definitely be watching all his dramas. I love when a K-Idol can act. Also, a shoutout to Kwak Dong Yeon's role as Han Seo. I need him to finally play a role where his character is finally happy though!
OVERALL: I love how this show keeps me on my toes. It can be a thriller or comedy with some romantic aspects. While this does have that comedy tag and believe me it is hilarious, especially with the ragtag team BEWARE of the CRIME tag because when Vincenzo starts his mafia works, it is no joke. So, this show is not for the faint of heart because there are some very INTENSE + DARK moments in this drama. I thought I was watching an American version of blood & gore for a moment. I am not complaining though because of the way justice was served... It was Perfezione!
10/10 -
56. The Story of Gumiho
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
B+
- I definitely care about the bromance more than I do about the romance. Lee Rang & Lee Yeon are definitely the sole reasons I am continuing this drama.
- One of the few dramas that made me cry. The bromance is the saving grace of this drama. Kim Bum always has my heart!
-
57. Bad and Crazy
Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
B-
This show had everything it needed for me to give this a high rating, but I got bored every now and again when Dongwook was not part of the scenes. The two main cases were very interesting but had its draggy moments. The bromance was definitely my fave part of the show.
-
58. Can I Be Someone Else
Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes
C-
At first, I enjoyed this drama because I loved how this drama was not biased toward either the ML or FL. After all, they both have their flaws. This drama shows how nobody is perfect & I liked it more than I thought I would.
This drama is so realistic. It shows the ugly side of everyone. They do not make the characters likable, but I like them for the most part... flaws and all.In the end, though, I feel as though this is a slight waste of time because the leads had so much chemistry and I thought it was about them getting to the root of the problems of why their marriage failed and overcoming it, but it did take the realistic ending and kept them apart.

59. One Shot Scandal

-
60. The Glory Season 2

B
The revenge was so satisfying. Get me a man who is ready to take down my enemies for me like Yeojung.
-
61. Love to Hate You
Korean Drama - 2023, 10 episodes
A
I was not expecting much from this drama, but it gave me the same vibe I had with 'Shooting Stars'... just wholesome and filled with all the sweet cliches I love in a romantic comedy. Yeo Mi Ran + Nam Kang Ho's progression from enemies to lovers was both hilarious and so romantic. I loved how mature their love was & there were no misunderstandings once they got together!!! Thank goodness!!
I absolutely loved Kim Ji Hoon as Do Won Joon. I was waiting for him to play a character I can root for since Flower of Evil and he was perfection in her. He ALMOST stole the show from the ML for me, BUT the Kang Ho just kept making me swoon. Speaking of, I never heard of Yoo Teo, but he needs to act some more because I am ready to devour any drama he has. As for my girl Kim Ok Bin, she did her thing! I have loved her since Arthdal Chronicles and feel as though she needs to act more as well!
The bromance & the sisterships were top-tier. The soundtrack elevated every scene and great acting from the 3 main leads! I can see myself re-watching this when I am in a drama rut! -
62. Tale of the Nine-Tailed Season 2
Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes
B+
Yeon & Rang are the best brothers in Kdramaland! Their relationship carried S1 and it was even better in S2! The romance was so well done between Rang and his MerQueen, Yeo Hee.
I was getting ready to write a whole rant about Yeon's mountain god besties because at one point I thought with friends like them who need enemies. They were super frustrating he really has so much patience, BUT the finale was so well done!!! It wrapped everything up with a big pretty bow that I forgot I hated them.
Do we need a S3 no, but do I WANT a S3? Yes, there are story pieces the writers have set up for a S3, and more of the brothers is never a bad thing for me! 8.5/10 -
63. From Now On, Showtime!
Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes
B+
One of the funniest KDramas out there. I loved Mr. Cha & his ghost family. It really was a good time, a dash of tragedy, but a good ending! The writers ALMOST dropped the ball with the last episode, but they made up for it.

64. See You in My 19th Life
Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes

- Beautiful OST... loved the couple... the last two episodes were a bit much but overall loved it.
- Shin Hye Sun shines with whatever she does.
- Ahn Bo Hyun made me a fan of this drama.

65. My Heart Beats
Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes
F
Heartbeat started going downhill around ep 6. I held out hope because I really like Taecyeon, but with the writers pulling crazy plots out of nowhere and the ridiculous motivations of all the villains it really started to become a chore to watch this. If the leads had chemistry, it might have distracted me from the horrible plot, but they barely had any. This drama was definitely a waste of my time, but at least some of the music was good! 3/10

66. King the Lander
Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes
A-
King the Land is how romantic comedies should be done. Of course, it was filled with all the usual K-Drama cliches that you can think of, and of course, there were corny + cheesy parts but it all worked for the most part.
Sarang is one of my favorite FLs. She was not immature or created misunderstandings out of thin air. Yoonah does a great job expressing her emotions. I love her relationship with her grandma & her friends. Her friends and she were always having the times of their lives in this show. I love a good sismance.
Jun Ho as Gu Won will go down as one of the greenest flags in all of K-Dramaland. I mean I cannot resist my toxic king obsessive CEO troupe... hehe, but he might be the healthiest CEO ever. Of course, he had the usual CEO trauma, but the way he allowed himself to heal did not affect his relationship with Sarang or his bestie, Sangsik. His smile was also so healing... I mean I love watching him be happy. This is my first Junho drama & my 2PM guy can ACT. I need to watch his other dramas.
THE RELATIONSHIP WAS SO HEALTHY. No unnecessary misunderstandings that drag on for eternity. Whenever something came up, the leads COMMUNICATED. It was so refreshing. I love how they always support one another & always down for one another no matter what hardships come our way.
Of course, the OST was elevating all the scenes... highly recommended for a light, fluffy healthy romantic comedy. 9/10 -
67. Frightening Cohabitation
Korean Drama - 2021, 16 episodes
A-
What a well-produced drama this was. A great main & supporting cast, an amazing OST, a good plot & the humor was the best part of this drama. Hye Sun stole the show from everyone because she was the best character. She kept the show afloat when the main leads decided they wanted to be a drag during some parts. I usually love only focusing on the main lead relationship, but it was fun to watch her developing romance with Jae Jin who was another highlight of the drama.
Onto the leads, Jang Ki Yong & Lee Hye Ri had great chemistry, and their kiss scenes were top-tier. I absolutely loved the silly dynamic in their relationship that kept things interesting. The only thing I did not care for was her calling him sir.
I LOVED IT!! 9/10

68. Devilish Joy
Korean Drama - 2018, 16 episodes
B-
- Choi Jin Hyuk is the reason for this drama. He is everything I could ask from a ML in here. He had such a Prince Charming way about him that I could not resist.
- I loved Song Ha Yoon in Fight My Way & I wanted her to have a lead role & she did great in here.
- The leads had one of the best chemistry with a lead couple I have seen. I love the height difference and got to love their kiss scenes. It felt as though he was devouring her. Hehe.
- I did not like how the doctor had no consequences in the end after trying to kill him even the evil CEO got a tap on the shoulder after causing all the trauma in the world to the ML.
- The ending was super cute though. 8/10
-
69. The Innocent Man
Korean Drama - 2012, 20 episodes

Maru + Eungi are the main reasons I made it through this drama because the revenge towards the end stopped meaning anything to me. I guess everyone got what they deserved but it really started to drag after episode 15. 8/10

70. Arthdal Kronieken Deel 1: De Kinderen van de Profetie
Korean Drama - 2019, 6 episodes
B+
As I was watching pt. 1 back in 2019, I remember liking it, but this re-watch was so necessary because this is such a good drama so far. This gives me some of the vibes I get from watching Game of Thrones & House of Dragons.
You know, Song Joong Ki is my favorite K-Actor & Ji Won is one of my favorite K-Actors so I knew they were going to do an amazing job creating chemistry together or advancing the plot separately.
As for who my favorite character was, it had to be TAGON. He has such a charming way about him & I loved how clever & cunning he was. Also, his other half Taealha... absolutely loved her. Her and Tagon's dynamic is so fun to watch! I cannot wait to finally watch pt 2 now. 8.5/10 -
71. Useless Lies
Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes
B+
Sol Hee was the female lead who heard lies and came across Do Ha who does not lie. Sol Hee never became whiny or annoying. I loved her interactions with all the cast. Her friendship with the tarot reader & her bodyguard was so sweet & funny. I even loved when she had scenes with the second male lead who was such a cutie. I will admit they would have been great together, but I was firmly on the male lead side. I love how the SL never became hateful or obsessive instead he applied the concept of "if you love her, let her go" to his situation. I really hope I see more of the actor. As for Do Ha, I felt so sorry that he was a victim of so many people being so obsessed with him... all he did was be kind, caring & handsome while minding his business.
Of course, I picked this drama up for Minhyun because that is my WannaOne/NU'EST guy & I definitely inhaled My Lovely Liar. It was super easy to binge. The unique plot caught my attention right from the beginning. So, add the unexpectedly amazing chemistry of the leads, humor, great supporting cast friends, and OST with the twists and it is a great overall drama. Also, I did not feel as though I was left hanging by the ending because the ending was so complete and satisfactory!
Minhyun reminds me so much of Eunwoo with his looks. He gave me my much-needed Eunwoo fix, but he & Kim So Hyun were so great together.
Definitely recommend 8.5/10

72. Moving
Korean Drama - 2023, 20 episodes
B+/8.5
The main reason this caught my attention is that my ultimate favorite female actress, Han Hyo Joo is in here along with the charming Zo In Sung, another one of my faves, and Go Youn Jung, my favorite upcoming actress.
This plot reminded me of the American TV Show Heroes, but I like this drama way better. I love how everything was essentially connected to one another. All the actors did an amazing job & deserve all the awards. I never heard of Ryu Seung Ryong, but his acting was top-tier.
Hyo Joo & In Sung are one of my dream K-Drama pairings & their chemistry is just as intensely amazing as I thought it would be. Their love story is probably one of my favorites of 2023.
At one point this was a 10 and I was anxiously waiting weekly for the next episodes. but there were some moments towards the end of the drama that were not as engaging which made me lower the rating. Overall, I absolutely had a good time watching this.

73. Twinkling Watermelon
Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes
A+
This is definitely up for drama of the year & one of my favorite dramas ever. The acting, humor, OSTs & overall vibe of this drama is perfect! Yi Chan + Cheong Ah are my favorite couple this year & some of my favorite characters. They definitely hold a SUPER special place in my heart! They need to win a couple of the year or something!
The ML was crying in EVERY. SINGLE. EPISODE & for good reasons too... so much emotional trauma to unpack. I was tearing eye-eyed throughout the whole drama but the last episode had me SOBBING! It was a well-done finale.
Also, Choi Hyun Wook is an actor to keep an eye on... his way of expressing his emotions verbally or non-verbally is something to behold.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 10/10 -
74. Strong Girl Kang Nam Soon
Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes
C+
For the most part, I enjoyed this drama for its silliness & not taking itself too seriously, but I will say the last 2 episodes were too chaotic & had much nonsense going on.
Namsoon's character was so sweet & funny, but I loved it when she got serious. She & Hee Shik were so adorable together whenever the writers allowed them to have screen time. Ong Seong Wu did a good job playing the adorable boyfriend.
Geum Joo is such a boss character. She is such a great mom & will lay it down all for her family.
I will say the stories of the men of the family & the grandma were too boring for me and I pretty much skimmed their parts.
Now onto the best actor in this show Byeon Woo Seok. You could say his portrayal of the villainous Ryu Shi Oh kept this show going. His character was absolutely insane, but it was sad to think how he had a tragic life and was continuously betrayed his whole life. And deep down he had a kind heart... I mean what he did for his dad.. so sweet. He just needed someone to lead him to the right path. I need another drama where he is the ML ASAP!! 7/10

75. Perfect Marriage Revenge
Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes
A/9.0
It is so crazy to think that I was thinking of putting this off, but I am so happy that I did not because this turned out to be one of the best dramas of 2023. The storyline has been done many times, but it had a charming element that pulled me into it. I feel as though this is Sung Hoon's best drama & his chemistry with Jung Yoo Min is amazing. One of my favorite couples this year & their kissing scenes are so good!
Sung Hoon's family has to be the best in-laws ever in a K-Drama.
I loved how everyone got what they deserved & everything was wrapped up so neatly with a bow. It was such a satisfying end! Check out the OSTs! They were great!
-
76. Castaway Diva
Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes
A-/8.7
From the start, I did not expect such heavy themes to follow the plot throughout this drama, but episode 1 packs a punch with the emotional trauma.
EPs 1-6 were top-tier, but I will say from 7, 9-10, I noticed I got annoyed with some of the character's motivations and development contributing to the plot. Most of the annoyances were resolved for me, except for something relating to Ranjoo's storyline. It is not anything that made me want to drop the show, but I am glad this show is only 12 episodes so it did not have the chance to get too draggy.
Ki-Ho's & Mokha's smiles are so heartwarming.
Kiho is my favorite character in this drama because of his unwavering loyalty, determination & devotion to make sure he finds Mokha and helps her achieve her dreams & supports in in the background. I know some people did not care who she ended up with, but I needed her to end up with Kiho because of all the things he has done for her. The leads make such a cute couple & I wish we got just a tad bit more moments between them.
I loved the "annoying sibling" relationship the brothers had & the family as a whole was so wholesome especially the stepdad.
As for Ranjoo, I loved her at first and wanted her to get back at the President for putting her through so much hell even though she was going through her fair share of struggles in her life. So, when that storyline kind of fizzled I lost interest sometimes in her story. I will say the part about her mom was good enough to hold my attention for a bit. By the end, she did clean herself up and became relevant to the music industry again.

Kim Young Dae was the sole reason for me watching this & for me to continue watching this until the end. -
78. Reply 1997
Korean Drama - 2012, 16 episodes
B
This was my happy place drama because I loved the friendships in here and I liked the lead couples chemistry whether it was as friends or lovers. I will say this is the one case in which the secondary couple was a bit better than the main. The main con to this was the brother liking the lead. It just felt icky to me.

79. I Will Die Soon

80. Death's Game Part 2
Korean Drama - 2024, 4 episodes
[2024]

Kim Jae Wook's reincarnation and arc were so gruesome to watch. I had the chills, especially with how evil Ji Hoon's character was. Why can he just be the nice guy?! I really loved Oh Jung Se's character as a police officer. It felt as though he lived a fulfilling life. But that ending was so emotional... it had me tearing up in AM

82. My Demon
Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes
A-
I was hesitant to start this because I was not sure about the leads and I did not want this to be another Heartbeat, but I thoroughly loved every moment of this. I was even going through withdrawals trying to wait for the next episodes.
Do Hee + Guwon are such a visually stunning couple and are so perfect together. Their progression from hate to love and their natural yet powerful chemistry made this drama so much more captivating. Plus, the kissing scenes were so top-tier. Although there are some cliche moments (Goblin), I am not getting over this. Thank goodness for this fulfilling 45-minute happy ending.
Also, Guwon's bromance with Bok Kyu was so fun to watch & the one with & Seok Hoon was so cute.
-
83. Welcome to Samdal-ri
Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes
A-
Welcome to Samdal-ri is what I thought Hometown Chacha would be. This is by far the better drama because it has a more engaging couple and storyline even with the side characters. The slice-of-life genre is not for me, but this drama made me reconsider due to how well done it is.
Shin Hye Sun, you have done it again... constantly raising the bar & doing it flawlessly. Her dramas never disappoint and I love how she elevates all her male co-starts to another level. Her chemistry with Changwook is no joke and it is her best male lead co-star to date. Their chemistry was so natural, sweet healing yet full of intense passion.
Ji Chang Wook as Yong Pil is his best work for me. He was the PERFECT man a girl can ask for. I am not sure what beef I had with Changwook in the past since Healer, but I will be watching all his dramas now. I love how he is cute and hot at the same time. Also, I love the humor, friendships/bromance/sismance, and family unity in this drama. This drama is SUPER HEALING & FILLED WITH SO MUCH LOVE!!!!!!!! I LOVED how supportive her family, friends, and hometown were of her.
The only cons: the assistant + ex did not get what they deserved.
One of my favorite dramas. Everyone is happy at the end, so I am happy. I am going to miss the whole cast & my Yongpil + Samdal couple.

Gone with the Wind - The Korean Version
For those of you who do not know, this drama is inspired by Gone with the Wind, which is one of the greatest romance movies of all time & one of my favorite movies. It helped me get over my obsessive love with Twinkling Watermelon
Namkoong Min as Lee Jang Hyun is the best K-drama character I have ever come across & tied for the best Asian drama character along with the amazing Ling Buyi from Love Like the Galaxy.
Ahn Eun Jin as Yoo Kil Chae goes through one of my favorite character developments in a K-Drama. From a spoiled, immature brat to a grown, mature woman who does what it takes to survive in harsh times to protect herself & her family. I will say she made me mad at the end of Pt. 1 & I was waiting for the "Frankly, I do not give a damn scene," but her actions were understandable.
One of my favorite Asian couples. Their romance was so angsty, but when they finally got together. It was so worth it! The way he moved heaven & earth to make sure she was always save is why my standards are about to be even more through the roof.
Cons: The politics with the Crown Prince & King, were a chore to watch.
-
86. My Dearest Part 2
Korean Drama - 2023, 11 episodes
A+
There are some irrelevant side stories I was not too fond of, especially when it came to our leads being together.
- The spoiled jealous princess who thought our ML wanted her was such a nuisance.
- Ryang Eum getting in the way of our leads' love. Be gone, Satan!
- Double amnesia from the writers is wicked work from the writers.
Overall, one of my favorite dramas of all-time & dare I say, I loved it better than Gone with the Wind, especially because of all the closure I received.

87. Melting Me Softly

88. Doctor Stranger
Korean Drama - 2014, 20 episodes
I am warning all those who are about to watch this... this is a melodrama so PLEASE TURN YOUR BRAINS OFF!! The first 9 episodes were good, but it went downhill after that. This drama could have been only 14-16 episodes, but there is so much repetition of scenes paired with unnecessary scenes that dragged this drama along. I did not know what was going on with the plot until one of the later episodes. After episode 10, I stopped caring about the MF + FL story and I just wanted Joon to get his revenge. After all, he did become my favorite character!
I was anticipating Hoon reuniting with his first love, but he seemed to have more chemistry with the SFL & the love square that formed was so hard to watch. I wished we could have gotten more bromance between Joon & Hoon, but I knew I could not expect that from a 2014 K-Drama. The SFL started to annoy me towards the end even more so than the FL.
After the revenge, I checked out & wanted the drama to end ASAP! The villains' goals were so laughably bad. I will say, this is my least favorite character of Jong Suk. His character and acting were by no means horrible. It is just that his character annoyed me more than his other characters & I do not see myself re-watching this!
My Park Haejin did amazing here & I am off to watch another drama of his where he is the lead!
I am giving this a 6.5/10 out of the goodness of my heart! -
89. It's Okay to Not Be Okay
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
A+
I am appalled at how I almost missed out on this masterpiece because I was not a fan of Soohyun (hated MLFTS), but Queen of Tears made me fall so in love with him so I decided to give him another chance by watching this & it did not disappoint!
The plot grabbed me instantly. I loved how the 3 leads had to overcome their inner demons to find their happiness. This drama was such a rollercoaster ride. It made me happy cry & sad cry too many times!
The bond between the brothers was so touching & special. The mischievous trio will always have a special place in my heart. The Beauty and the Beast episode was one of my favorites (especially because it is my favorite Disney movie) along with the last 4 GOLDEN episodes. Plus, the ending was so heartwarming!
Seo Yea Ji is one of my favorite actresses so I knew she would bring her A-game & she did a phenomenal job! I love how off-the-wall her character was. It made her dynamic with everyone more interesting. Her character is definitely on my top-tier list. Her chemistry with Soohyun was setting the screen on fire!! Their chemistry is not to be trifled with. To be devoured by Soohyun…. Whew!!! Speaking of him, I love how I could feel all his emotions with his eyes only. I felt everything he was feeling & I love actors like that so much!! He has made it on my favorite actor's list. So sorry I was missing out on his greatness all this time!
LOOOOOOVED IT SO MUCH! I am glad I have Queen of Tears left to simmer in my newfound love for Soohyun! I will miss this drama!! -
90. Bos
Korean Drama - 2020, 32 episodes
B+
It is a calming drama due to the scenery & is about the two leads overcoming their trauma to become the best versions of themselves.
You know I watched this for my Park Hae Jin & he was amazing in here. He can do no wrong in his dramas. I love his duality of how he can go from serious to funny to cute. I am not too fond of aegyo, but I always love it when he does it because he looks so adorable doing it. I do not cringe at all!
Based on her performances in Tale of a Nine-Tailed & Destined with You. I am not a fan of Jo Bo Ah's acting, but she did a great job here. Her chemistry with Haejin felt natural & I was able to connect with her character due to her storyline.
The KISS SCENES!!!!!!!!!!! Any girl is lucky to be kissed by Haejin!
The main ones were so psychotically evil & I am glad the ML got the revenge & healing he needed by the end of the drama. Also, the complete healing the FL experienced towards the end touched my heart. I felt so happy my leads were freed from the trauma holding them down. I really enjoyed watching this drama. It was so refreshing and easy to watch. 8.5/10

This was such an emotional rollercoaster! Despite raising my blood pressure towards the end, I enjoyed the ride! I will miss the now HEALED families & Soohyun's & Hae-in's chemistry! Their pairing is definitely one for the books & going down as one of my favorite K-Drama couples! I feel like I had an overdose of Soohyun with this & IOTNBO & I am going to miss seeing him & his acting. I am so sad I will be without him for a few more years until his next drama! He is for sure one of my favorite actors! Loved it!

Korean Drama - 2024, 16 episodes
A+
My most ANTICIPATED drama of 2024. So, the expectations I had for this were through the roof!
Did it meet my standards? ABSOLUTELY!! It completely blew away all my expectations and surpassed them. It is a wholesome drama that will fill you with overwhelming happiness & leave you feeling satisfied. This drama came to me in a time when I was not in the greatest of places so I do feel more emotionally attached to it than others. It is the best time travel drama I have seen, top 3 K-Dramas & top 5 Asian dramas ever!! Let me break it down!Wooseokie, I am so proud of his popularity because he deserves it. He played Sunjae's character so perfectly showing so many different sides & displaying his acting range. We always know Kim Hye Yoon is going to bring her A-game with her acting & her chemistry with Wooseok was flawlessly believable. Their romance is one for the books & it took me through a rollercoaster ride emotionally, but it had its funny moments too that perfectly balance it out. I ADORE the way they looked at one another & the chemistry along with those kissing scenes were so top-tier. One of my favorite K-Drama couples!
The OST has been on repeat ever since all the pt. 1 songs came out. I get intense goosebumps when I start listening & remember all the scenes the song plays in.
I was re-watching every episode every week to prepare for the next episodes because the wait for the episodes was literal torture. I have not felt this obsessive about a K-Drama in a while. I love that I have another comfort K-drama to add to my list.
It has a special place in my heart because of the beautiful love story between Sunjae + Sol. It was an emotional yet fun ride. I will never forget Soljae & the supporting cast because everyone played their part so perfectly!!! I am looking forward to their next drama & the many re-watches I will be giving this drama!

96. Cinderella At 2 AM
Korean Drama - 2024, 10 episodes
C
It started strong with the first two episodes but began to decline because it became repetitive and the FL started to irritate me just a a bit. At one point I thought the ML deserved better than her because her indecisiveness was annoying, but they worked it out. The best part of the show was the Won brothers because of their bond & their humor. Also, the SLC was eons better than the MLC. The development of their romance was so funny yet sweet to watch.

98. Mom’s Friend’s Son
Korean Drama - 2024, 16 episodes
C-
What to say about this drama. I went in with the bar set low because I am not a fan of hometown slice-of-life dramas unless the couple and cast have exceptional chemistry as it was in Welcome to Samdal-ri. That drama is the gold standard for me regarding that specific genre. Despite my reservations, I decided to watch this because Somin has been missing in action for 2 years and I missed her acting,
Maybe it was the wrong timing to watch this... or I was just not in the mood, but I could not truly invest my emotions into the characters. The first 4 episodes were great, but episodes 5-9 bored me to tears and I almost dropped it many times, but whenever the time came to deliver the emotional scenes, the actors nailed it. Episodes 10-12 were my favorites. The leads were cute together, but their chemistry started to disappear for me... they still felt like best friends and not lovers. Even when they kissed, I felt nothing. However, the second lead's chemistry was strong and sweet. I am glad others enjoyed it, but not my cup of tea.
